I purchased one last night after watching this video, I added a 4 year warranty the total came to $799.48 with tax.. I hope it arrives by the expected delivery date🤞🏾
It could be that you have to adjust the fuel / air ratio, so it's running smooth, it was a little rough near the idle but it maybe has to do with breaking in. Nice video btw
Yea I was thinking that maybe about 50 hours it'll be running alot smother then when I first started it. My Chinese Enduro really smoothed out at about 500 miles I tried a few different tilts its really easy to change it on the water with out light the engine is.
Hows the motor running? I got the 4stroke 6hp hangkai and took it out today after breaking in and it just has no power it seems. I have it on a 13' Ascend 133x kayak. I think I'm going to return and get the 2stroke
@@SM-Tackle ive actually had mine around 4 years now (i have a video of it on my channel ) , been a really good little engine , still working , only problems ive had were the pin for the gear selector snapping & snapping the pullcord , the latter being my friend being heavy handed

This boat is pretty heavy has about a couple hundred lbs in the build of the decking and electrical stuff plus fishing gear 2 deep cycle battery's. I'd say all together without the hangkai about 600 lbs or something.
I have answered this in other comments, but long story short is I let a friend who just got a john boat borrow it and he hit a stump under water and didn't have it fastened good or a safety chain and he lost it. I did put quite a bit of use on it befor this happened and I never had a problem with it. I would trust it to take me past my trolling motor range because it was reliable. Hey shevy. I bought the same motor. What fuel line connector did you use for an external tank? I've tried so many and can't find one that fits properly. I appreciate it if you can give me a part number or anything
I'm pretty sure it's mercury fitting. I had a few around without box so I'm not 100 percent but I know it's not evinride because I have to change the fitting to switch motors

Hi Guy's, we have the 6hp 2 stroke hangkia's as well, I think they weigh 42lbs. We run on them a 10ft red and a 10.8ft white/grey inflatable dinghy. With one person we can reach 13mph. @Shevy love the content it's nice seeing more people doing video's of the hangkia's. How many hour's have you put on your 6hp so far?
I had it aboutb2 years on the 2nd seasong I had let a friend try it on his john boat and he didn't fasten it down good and it came on after hitting a stump and he didn't have a safety chain on it. It was a great little motor they are a little under powered compared to good name brands the 6 is more like a 4 or 5 hp but ran great and always started easy. Would definitely buy another in a pinch. Would always see what you find find localy name brand first tho.
SM-Tackle thanks for the info I'm thinking about going and looking at a new 6 hp Suzuki tomorrow was thinking about one of these to finish out the summer with but they are out of stock anyway . I'm not sure on the brand its a pre 1970's 14 ft v hull 48 wide with a pretty flat bottom. I stripped it down to nothing this winter and built it how it is.
No I'm not still using.A friend tried it on his boat and lost it in the river after hitting a stump. I did have it for 2 years and it was a great motor I think it's optimal for boats a little lighter then mine it would do great on a bare aluminum 12 ot 14ft boat
I was looking into that too. But bought a mercury instead bc mercury is cheaper considering the medical bills for hearing damage and probably mental issues🤣🤣🤣 man that lawn machine is LOUD!

Yes I did run it for several hours in a brute trash can. Then trolled abunch with it before giving it much throttle.
Alot of the vibration when I start to get on it in the bimini top. I'm gonna have to make some rubber spacers for it
It looked not to bad, but 2 strokes vibrates quite a bit, so nothing to have panic about. But everything could be improved some how
