    is it worth it???

    It could be that you have to adjust the fuel / air ratio, so it's running smooth, it was a little rough near the idle but it maybe has to do with breaking in. Nice video btw

    • @THe9-3MAnIaC
      @THe9-3MAnIaC 3 роки тому

      And I'm glad that you didn't tilt the engine fully down, that increases fuel consumption and lower the speed a bit

    • @SM-Tackle
      @SM-Tackle  3 роки тому +2

      Yea I was thinking that maybe about 50 hours it'll be running alot smother then when I first started it. My Chinese Enduro really smoothed out at about 500 miles I tried a few different tilts its really easy to change it on the water with out light the engine is.

      I have answered this in other comments, but long story short is I let a friend who just got a john boat borrow it and he hit a stump under water and didn't have it fastened good or a safety chain and he lost it. I did put quite a bit of use on it befor this happened and I never had a problem with it. I would trust it to take me past my trolling motor range because it was reliable. It is not as powerful as a johnson or evinrude though of the same size.

      It was a pretty good motor honestly for the price of half of the major brands and when I purchased you couldn't even get mercury they where sold out fast for a 15 hp or less. Unfortunately I let my friend barrow the motor and he hit a stump and lost it. He liked it so much he is gonna pay me for it and buy another one
