Still worth it?
I’ve been telling folks in the comments that if I’m honest I think it’s great for using from time to time and for occasional fishing/camping trips for the price and especially if you’re a little mechanical in nature! Lol but if you’re going to be using it daily or more frequently than I do then I would recommend saving up for a Honda 2.5 or a little Suzuki 3 hp or Tohatsu 3 hp. But like I said for the price I don’t want to knock the little engine because I have only had minor issues with it. I got mine on sale for 189$ versus 700 for a name brand so you just have to look at what you want to use it for and if it’s something that is right for your situation. I really appreciate you watching and commenting and it’s likely I will be doing a one year review on it soon. Have a great weekend and thanks again 🎣🐟👍😁
@@jaybyrdsshenanigans is this something that could get my 10 foot aluminum Jon boat a couple miles up and down river?
@@steveenczi8967 as long as you are not in any hurry yes but I changed the prop and spark plug when I got it. But it’s more like a 2.3 hp than a four. That’s why I said it was good for the money and as long as you are a little mechanical you’re good. Lol this video was a first look at the engine and setting it up so I have learned a few things about it since then.
Should I be putting that lower unit lube on all outboards when I buy them?
@steveenczi8967 if you get it shipped most of them ship dry so make sure you check it. Part of the reason I made the video is my baby brother burned out the gears in his first one because they didn’t tell him it was shipped dry.😑
These are a 2 HP motor. Not 4 HP.
I’m reading the sticker on the engine in this video my friend and you are correct 👍 it is equal in power to a 2.3 horsepower engine but I think most people are aware of that due to the very low price. Lol thanks for watching and sharing your knowledge with us. 🙏👍😁
go buy a good grease gun
It’s on my shopping list! That thing is a piece of junk!! Lol thanks for watching 🙏
😄
😁👍👊
Do you have a link to this exact motor online? Thanks
My wife ordered it sometime back so I’m not sure but I will find out tomorrow when she gets home from work and I’ll get it to you if she can find it. I do know she got it on Amazon and they are cheaper in winter. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!! Keep a lookout and if she finds it I’ll reply to your comment again.😃👍🎣🐟🛶
@@jaybyrdsshenanigans Great. I appreciate it. Please do include the price as there are many Hangkai motors with various options out there. Bless.
@iLanFrid no problem at all!
This is the link for the motor however they seem to have replaced the motor I have with a different model all the other sites have the model I have marked unavailable or out of stock. Or they are selling the same motor but with a jet drive system instead of a propeller drive. Sorry I couldn’t find the exact model for you but I hope this helps. Also keep in mind when dealing with them they will usually except a lower price for the motor during winter. www.ebay.com/itm/314610715521?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=2hfbsis7ruw&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=y6rwl8lqqtg&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
