Hey Mark, Thanks for posting this video. I haven't been able to find much on my daughters. couldn't even find the model with the vin.clicked on your video and it's the identical one you have. alot of help thanks
YES THAT LITTLE CAP IS TO THE FLY WHEEL THAT HAS TIMING MARKS ON IT. COMPRESSION IS WHEN THE PISTON COMPRESSES THE GAS TO THE TOP OF THE MOTOR THATS WHEN THE SPARK PLUG IGNITES THE FUEL AND BOTH VALVES ARE CLOSED. AND IMPORTANT FOR THE MOTOR TO STAY ON THE TIMING MARK WHICH IS A -F ON THE FLY WHEEL HOPE THIS HELPS THANK FOR WATCHING
I'm checking / adjusting the valve clearance / valve lash on my Fuxin Atv 110cc. One manual I have shows 0.03mm to 0.05mm. I just saw the two lines on the flywheel. I assume the TDC mark needs to be in-between the two lines. Good tip on the book.
What size feeler gauge are you using for a 110cc(107cc) E22 Motor? I bought a Brand new motor & my plug is Black so I want to double check every thing & make sure all is set correctly. Thanks
first check for spark, take the plug out and install in the coil cap hold the plug on the cylinder head (making a good ground) see if there is good spark or you can buy a spark tester. if you have spark check to see if fuel is getting to the motor. and let me know what you find
Hi Mark, i have a very similar ATV like the one on the video, i don't know where the carburator hoses go it leaks gas, can you please do a video on where the lines( hoses ) go ? thank you, Ruiz Family
under the cap you will find the valve arm, its the thing with the nut on it. under the is the flat round disk like the is the top of the valve, that's where you insert the feeler gauge. if you go to may channel and watch my 350 Honda rancher valve and clutch adj, I show this in a little more detail. and yes the "T" is top dead center. hope this helps thanks for watching
i would double check the carb, check the neddle jet maybe the c clip is off and check the main jet see if its got a little junk in it, also check the float height and make sure the air mixture screw is adjusted correct. hope this helps ya
IT MIGHT BE A BENT SHIFT FORK OR STRIPPED SHIFT DRUM OR SHAFT BUT FIRST I WOULD TRY CHANGING THE OIL AND ADJUSTING THE CLUTCH. IFITS THE FORK OR DRUM OR SHAFT YOU WILL HAVE TO SPLIT THE CASES
Thanks for the video ! I did the head gasket and I was following your video to set the valves ! When I turn the flywheel and find the two lines the valves are not loose and it’s not at compression two more turns I no longer see the lines in the peep hole and valves are loose and ready to be set ! What can I do ? Thanks in advance
He didn’t make this video to explain these things, nothing is sufficient to substitute, no need for update as there were no problems. Basic video to explain how it should feel and how to adjust. Thanks
MAKE SURE THE NEEDLE AND SEAT ARE GOOD AND CLEAN AND YES YOU MIGHT HAVE TO ADJUST THE FLOAT HEIGHT PLUS MAKE SURE YOUR FLOATS MOVE FREELY, NOT HANGING UP HOPE THIS HELPS THANKS FOR WATCHING
I WOULD START WITH A VALVE ADJUSTMENT. THE INTAKE VALVE MAY NOT BE OPENING TO LET FUEL IN OR THEY TIGHT AND ARE OPEN A BIT AND THE GAS WONT COMPRESS TO FIRE
Hi ...I tried to follow your guidance on one of these today. I could not my feeler gauge down in the opening to check the clearance properly ..I have some feeler gauges for the usual automotive clearances ....but it does not go down to .003. So I will have to get some of those ....but also I could not see into the opening exactly where to put the gauge. Can you give guidance? Also ....this little 90 CC Tao has a T stamped on the flywheel ...I assume that is top dead center.
Nevermind I looked a lil father back & seen u posted .07mm or .003 Inches for the Clearance or Feeler Gauge. Thanks for the video. I don't have 1 of those "Special" Tools can this be done with open or Box end wrenches & or a Adjustable wrench? Thanks again for the video I hope this solves my issues if not atleast I'll know they are set right.
I just got a 110cc quad. Not sure what brand it is if it matters, it is a Zongshenmotor. It is a 2006, ran ok when I bought it. I keep having trouble starting it. I have spark, and you can smell the gas. Did a compression test and it has 50psi. Is this good, bad? Should I check valves next or could it be the rings? I will buy the book you recommend in your video. Thanks for your help!
hi mark what do you know about the carb for a 110cc? my machine was bogging bad when i hit the throttle, and the carb started overflowing. ive pulled it off and ruled out there are no clogs and needles seem to be clean, and i inspected the float wich is supposed to be the reason for it overflowing but it seemed fine to, but something tells me i just need to adjust something? and advice would be great! thanks
Hey i have one of these quads and for some reason it will not start ive cleaned the carb and it sparks perfect do you think that this could be the problem please help me thx
sir I have 110cc scooter soing in book 0.14 what is tha alternate no 0.14 this no for 110cc scooter plzzzzzzzzz let me alternate no 0.14 for 110cc Indian hero scooter
Hey I have an ssr 125 I recently purchased a knock off mikuni carb that is 24mm I have the adapter intake manifold and the stock carb was 22mm im having a problem tuning the carb any advice or a video on how to tune this carb would be great thanks
My 110cc Chinese atv well not start I have spent $40 to fix it once and it died again! I don't know what to do I have charged the battery And changed the spark plug to a new one but I still can't fix it I don't want to spend another $40. Please help!!! Thank you
Just got a kayo 150 bull and it back fires through carb when starting. The timing is good but still back fires while starting. Not even a month later and now it sometimes backfired through carb while driving. What do you think it can be? Thanks
Still having a problem with this Chinese tav ….the Haynes book says valve clearance should be .002 …but you indicate .003? I adjusted mine to .002 and the machine will not start …and I have checked everything else (spark, carb, compressions etc.) Did you make a discovery that the valve clearance needs to be .003?
***** make .003 to start. some times on these Chinese atvs you may have to play with it a little bit, there tolerances are not good as a brand name due to crappy metals
I adjusted valves, on the intake there was no gap and it was pushed in. Now it has significantly higher compression causing the kickstart to slip, what should I do?
I would recheck the valves and make sure the motor is at top dead center - in-between the two lines on the flywheel and always rotate the motor in the correct direction - you can touch the starter with the run switch off to verify the direction the motor spins in. On my chinese atv it is counterclockwise.
My valve covers are stuck. I am starting to destroy them. Any ideas what i am doing wrong? Are there any bolts holding the cover in place. I have the same exact engine as this video.
afroninjadeluxe you are not doing anything wrong, the caps are seized to the motor. you may have to get new ones because you will destroy them getting them off
i have a question I bought a roketa go cart with a Chinese engine... Its getting no compression could it be the valves needing to be adjusted its 110cc
Hey Bud, I can build a Bike from the Ground up, but I can's get that Round Cam cover off. I don't want to brake it. Not the Valve that you did, but the Round Cam. Do I turn it, pop it off or is something holding it. I want to powder coat my Engine covers. Thanks !!!!
I'm checking / adjusting the valve clearance / valve lash on my Fuxin Atv 110cc. One manual I have shows 0.03mm to 0.05mm which is a tiny gap so be sure your feeler gauges have blades that small.
I think it's the valves. ..can down shifting it using it to slow down the quad cause the valves to offset?? asking cause the last time the engine was running that's what was done afterwards. .
so basically you did not show how to adjust. I have the bolt out and see the nut on the rocker. What do I adjust ? Normally there should be 2 nut and you loosen the top and then adjust with the bottom nut and then tighten the top nut. However on this, there is only ONE nut. I was hoping you would show what to do, but you said you need this special tool which then did not work and then you just skipped it, that well, this one is ok. If you call the headline valve adjustment, you should actually show it.
Well, found one guy who actually shows the adjustment. The nut on the rocker must be loosened and then you turn the small rocker bolt with a wrench left or right - loose or tighten. This is what the nut goes on and its top is a square shape, so you can grab it with a plier. No special tool needed (did not work for this guy either) just a 9mm wrench to loosen the nut and a plier. Of course a feeler gauge to measure which is like $3.99 on amazon. Nothing else. The top large bolt which opens the view to the rocker is a 17mm. Pretty simple , the key was to know what to turn.
Timing is pretty easy on these, your timing chain is on the left side of the cylinder, and it has a dot on the sprocket that the timing chain is on, on the compression stroke which means you too valve goes down and back up start looking on the peep hole for the T , some have a circle, some have lines, but most T for top dead center, when that is lined up the cam sprocket should be lined up with the notch on the case and the dot on the cam sprocket head froward toward the front of the bike, then adjust your valves and put it back together, hope that help, you might have figured it out by now but I didn't see anyone comment on your question, God bless
does the valves stop your quad from starting up properly. .I ask cause I'm learning about these things and I have gas air and spark but it want start.. can the valves be a problem at least with the starting up
yes valves will cause a non starting problem they can be either too tight to loose, if to lose it won't get compression if too tight won't get gas. I would also check to see if you have compression low compression your quad will not start
No, not unless they were adjusted incorrectly and are way way too loose. Normally, adjusting valves should have not noticeable effect on performance. or ability to start.
do ya know y after about it for 5 min of ridin gas comes out of the intake side of the carb and dont start back up an smoke white smokes alil out of the air port from the engine anyone have any ideas its a kandi90b cart could it be a head gasket
+Dean Young could be a head gasket, but I would start with the carb. either the float settings is wrong or the jet needle is bad and letting gas to keep flowing.
Hey 400 if your still around, question, We have the 125 auto, it was running smooth and then quit like it lost spark, restarted, ran for a little bit and then quit again, has good spark and I put a new carb and battery on it but it will not even act like it wants to start, it's maybe 3 years old and the valves have never been adjusted, your thoughts please, Thanks for any help.
Cdi, stator. One or the other sometimes both. One piggy backs off the other if you shorted the system(happens a lot) the cdi( little black box with connect under seat. About a inch wide by two inches long. Maybe green connect plug) it’s 15$ online change it if you still have bike it’ll cure it right away. Unless you blew the rings and lost compression slowly and now completely
bobby perkin it Could be that your valves need gapped Backfires are usually caused by Gas going into the exhaust and igniting on the inner walls of your exhaust pipe Which if it was gapped wrong it might have Backfires but more likely it's your Air/Fuel mixture screw On the Carburetor You can look up the proper setting for it Online But most times you turn it all the way Clockwise until the engine bogs and then turn it out counterclockwise safely testing the throttle till it's running good and doesn't bog down You can also check your Spark plug if it's covered in gas or oil it's getting too much fuel if it's got a little brown it's good
hey mark I have the 110cc 4 stroke, now the starter has burnt up 2 times now. it turn one whole turn when I go too start it then it clicks then sometimes it acts like it wants to fire up so im being told that its the top dead center ordeal what do you think it could be thanks...
any ideas my 110cc comanche gets fuel gets spark has new sparkplug valves are adjusted piston and cylinder are changed and its not going to start but when i crank it its making weird noise
Sakari M I know this sounds funny but check the electrical system, cdi, stator, and every single tap, or tie in. Then open side case by stator and check wires behind stator wheel. Sometimes break. Still would give spark just won’t allow it to run long or at all
Hey great video but I need your help. I have a friends 110cc quad. He bought it brand new and it has never ran properly. It runs fine with the choke on (obviously running rich) but as soon as you take it off the engine dies. I have completely torn the carb and cleaned everything and its still doing the same thing. So I then adjusted both vales to .07mm or .003 Inches and now it barely starts with the choke on. Im just curious as to what my next step is? Should I start to open the intake valve? I appreciate any input, thanks!
if it runs with the choke on its starving for fuel that means the pilot system has a problem, check the pilot jet to see if its clogged.the hard starting may be your valves may be to loose or to tight. I would start with the valves, just make sure you are on the compression stroke. hope this helps ya
It’s the carburetor. The air fuel diver that goes into jet needs to be adjusted. They have a piece that comes from your throttle line that screws into the top of carb. Remove that throttle piece that has the long spring with throttle wire runnning into carb, your problem is the little clips inside the slide that hold the needle that goes into the carb jets. It’s sinking to far down making the engine run leaner than they already do from factory. These are sometimes installed wrong from factory. You just disassemble the throttle piece and take the little c- type clip that slides onto top of need and holds into the actual slide and they have 3-5 different points you can adjust it too, the lower the clip the more fuel it allows in. The higher the clip the lower the needle goes into jets when you release throttle, this is why only runs on choke. Trust me, do this first. It takes 5 minutes and free advice from a mmi tech, now motorcycle engineer who actually is certified in 7 brands. These off brands are extremely finiky. You may or may not have to adjust air fuel ratio screw or “idle screw” to make up for the increase or decrease in revs during idle dependent on what way you go with clip. I did just you put clip as far to the bottom notch as you can. Let me know what happens
you might have a air leak or you need to go up a size on your pilot jet.The popping is a result of the air/fuel mixture becoming very lean when the throttle is closed and the engine is rotating well above idle speed.
All the stickers are off on it its been sitting for a couple years but i been running it like a 2 stroke with 40:1 so it might be a 2 stroke but im not 100% sure.
Does it have valves like the ones in the video, if it dose its a 4 stroke. and if the exhaust pipe coming out of the motor flares out in the middle (double its size) its a 2 stroke
It has a place to put oil and a dipstick but it doesnt have a oil filter which i heard they dont but how to i see if its a 2 or 4 by the valves because i still cant find out if its a 2 or 4 stroke??????
@RB20ANDY I GOT IT FOR MY 7 YEAR OLD DAUGTHER TO TEACH HER HOW TO RIDE, I'LL LET HER DESTROY IT LEARNING THEY GET HER A REAL HONDA. THEN I JUNK THE CHINAESE QUAD AND NOT BE OUT A TON OF MONEY
If you can't get it in its to tight...😂 That's what she said...😂👍 good video..
what size feeler gauge are you using
Probably a 0.03 or .3
.007 exhaust / intake is .005 on a 125 tao tao 4 wheeler. One guy said .007 on his post
Hey Mark, Thanks for posting this video. I haven't been able to find much on my daughters. couldn't even find the model with the vin.clicked on your video and it's the identical one you have. alot of help thanks

hahahahaha "Starring Mark" :)
Ive just bought a chineese quad and looking at doing the first service.
This vid is great. Thanks

@johnboy77333 THE INTAKE&EXHUAST ON A 70 90 IS 0.05MM/0.002IN A 110 TO 125 1S 0.07MM/0.003IN BOTH VALVE ARE THE SAME CLEARANCE.
first check for spark, take the plug out and install in the coil cap hold the plug on the cylinder head (making a good ground) see if there is good spark or you can buy a spark tester. if you have spark check to see if fuel is getting to the motor. and let me know what you find

Great video, but nowhere is says what the correct specs are. So what would be the valve lash for intake and the exhaust valves?
Ainstain K seriously. What a fkn nimrod! Shit. Thanks for nothing u box of nails. Hahaha
Ainstain K
great video? bare minimum you should actually adjust the valves in a "how to adjust valves video"
yes you can use a boxend wrench and a screwdriver. good luck with your project and thanks for watching
you should only ever have to set them while you are doing a re-build anyways
1971 and on Honda atc 70,90,110,185,200
under the cap you will find the valve arm, its the thing with the nut on it. under the is the flat round disk like the is the top of the valve, that's where you insert the feeler gauge. if you go to may channel and watch my 350 Honda rancher valve and clutch adj, I show this in a little more detail. and yes the "T" is top dead center. hope this helps thanks for watching
Whygostock sells a valve adjustment kit with a better feeler gauge and the tool.
i would double check the carb, check the neddle jet maybe the c clip is off and check the main jet see if its got a little junk in it, also check the float height and make sure the air mixture screw is adjusted correct. hope this helps ya
IT MIGHT BE A BENT SHIFT FORK OR STRIPPED SHIFT DRUM OR SHAFT BUT FIRST I WOULD TRY CHANGING THE OIL AND ADJUSTING THE CLUTCH. IFITS THE FORK OR DRUM OR SHAFT YOU WILL HAVE TO SPLIT THE CASES
Hey thanks for the response!! Ut really helps and I will check that other video out.
Thanks for the video ! I did the head gasket and I was following your video to set the valves ! When I turn the flywheel and find the two lines the valves are not loose and it’s not at compression two more turns I no longer see the lines in the peep hole and valves are loose and ready to be set ! What can I do ? Thanks in advance
that round side cover shows the cam sprocket and timing chain only used to set the timing
need an update.. what's the valve lash? what size feeler? whats sufficient to substitute?sorry but I must dislike for these reasons
He didn’t make this video to explain these things, nothing is sufficient to substitute, no need for update as there were no problems. Basic video to explain how it should feel and how to adjust. Thanks
Who installed the wheels/tires? On backwards.
A GOOD RANGE FOR COMPRESSION IS ABOUT 90 TO 120PSI . I WOULD CHECK THE VALVES FIRST, YOU COULD BE LOSSING COMPRESSION THERE
Hi ...I tried to follow your guidance on one of these today. I could not my feeler gauge down in the opening to check the clearance properly ..I have some feeler gauges for the usual automotive clearances ....but it does not go down to .003. I will buy the book you recommend in your video. Thanks for your help!
YES IT DOES JUST MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING THE 70CC SPEC
Where did you get that book?
YEP YOUR RIGHT. YOU WONT SEE THE VALES FROM THERE ONLY THREW THE CAPS
Is this Seth Rogen working on a quad?
i just bought a roketa go cart but its not getting any compression could it be the valves needing adjusting timing or what
Ya didn't mention feeler gadgets size?
Hi. How do you adjust the lash without a manual? and in this case, how do you tell if it's a Honda copy and the model copied?
Good info,,,my ATV overheats quickly after I took my oil cooler radiator off to clean it,should it go on a certain way?? Thanks
hi mark what do you know about the carb for a 110cc? my machine was bogging bad when i hit the throttle, and the carb started overflowing. ive pulled it off and ruled out there are no clogs and needles seem to be clean, and i inspected the float wich is supposed to be the reason for it overflowing but it seemed fine to, but something tells me i just need to adjust something? and advice would be great! thanks

sir I have 110cc scooter soing in book 0.14 what is tha alternate no 0.14 this no for 110cc scooter
plzzzzzzzzz let me alternate no 0.14 for 110cc Indian hero scooter
What lines do I line up in the sight hole ?
Hey I have an ssr 125 I recently purchased a knock off mikuni carb that is 24mm I have the adapter intake manifold and the stock carb was 22mm im having a problem tuning the carb any advice or a video on how to tune this carb would be great thanks
My 110cc Chinese atv well not start I have spent $40 to fix it once and it died again! I don't know what to do I have charged the battery And changed the spark plug to a new one but I still can't fix it I don't want to spend another $40. Please help!!! Thank you
BLOCKED MUFFLER OR EXHAUST VALVE NOT OPENING. I HOPE YOU GET IT RUNNING GOOD
how can you tune one of these engines to make it faster i have a 50cc one. cheers
Just got a kayo 150 bull and it back fires through carb when starting. The timing is good but still back fires while starting. Not even a month later and now it sometimes backfired through carb while driving. What do you think it can be? Thanks

I adjusted mine to .002 and the machine will not start …and I have checked everything else (spark, carb, compressions etc.) Did you make a discovery that the valve clearance needs to be .003?
And yes it is a 90cc that I am working on.
try making the intake a .005 or .006in
400EX99N Thanks for the reponse. And leave the exhaust at .002?
***** make .003 to start. some times on these Chinese atvs you may have to play with it a little bit, there tolerances are not good as a brand name due to crappy metals
I have a Chinese 70cc. Does this haynes manual cover valve specs this as well?
WILL DO, GIVE ME A WEEK TO SET IT UP
not 400, but no just cut the remote box off and tape it up , check the brake switches and on-off switch, i had all those problems fixed all,
Ok what size do I use? Speaking on the filler gauge
you check them when there are cold
It is a flywheel nut
I wanted to now what size feeler gauge
I adjusted valves, on the intake there was no gap and it was pushed in. Now it has significantly higher compression causing the kickstart to slip, what should I do?
I would recheck the valves and make sure the motor is at top dead center - in-between the two lines on the flywheel and always rotate the motor in the correct direction - you can touch the starter with the run switch off to verify the direction the motor spins in. On my chinese atv it is counterclockwise.

i have a question I bought a roketa go cart with a Chinese engine... Its getting no compression could it be the valves needing to be adjusted its 110cc
My exhaust valve was pitted and wouldn't seal when closed.. So I bought another head from ebay 👍
What size is the valve adjuster
im stuck in one gear and it wont change but i go reverse how do i fix it
how thick does the fuel thing have to be?????
Hey Bud, I can build a Bike from the Ground up, but I can's get that Round Cam cover off. I don't want to brake it. Not the Valve that you did, but the Round Cam. Do I turn it, pop it off or is something holding it. I want to powder coat my Engine covers. Thanks !!!!
on mine there is a bolt on the other side of the head that goes through the head and screws into the back side of the cover
400EX99N Shit, Your right, never was back there. HAHA. Thanx Brother !!!
I'm working on a 110 engine just like that, I can't find what I should set the valve gap to? not much info on these Chinese engines. any idea?
the Chinese copy the Honda 70, 90,110 motors check the video I show a Honda repair manual that what I use for the Chinese motors
I'm checking / adjusting the valve clearance / valve lash on my Fuxin Atv 110cc. One manual I have shows 0.03mm to 0.05mm which is a tiny gap so be sure your feeler gauges have blades that small.
hi sir what number that feller gauge can use
I think it's the valves. ..can down shifting it using it to slow down the quad cause the valves to offset?? asking cause the last time the engine was running that's what was done afterwards. .
definitely start with the valve set the gap and see if it'll runn
What are the settings on the valves if u don't mind me bugging u once more
my 110cc Chinese quad will be at constant throttle it is not the carb, it wants to always go forward at around 10mph,
will this fix that?
Roy Flaiz that would be your idle screw on your Carburator turn it down probably one to one half turn counter clockwise
so basically you did not show how to adjust. I have the bolt out and see the nut on the rocker. What do I adjust ? the chinese engines are exact clones of the honda engines.

I can't get my sons 125cc to idle down. I have the idle screw all the way in tight. Any ideas on what to do next?
+rayginhulk74 check the throttle cable it may be hung up some were and check for a air leak by the carb
0.07MM/0.003IN

Any idea what would cause a 200cc shineray 4 speed manual to roll on gear 1
Muhammad Yusuf Khan if your idle speed is really high that would most likley be the cause of the rolling in 1st gear
+M Briggs check the settings on the new carb and yes check your valves
Will do, Thx.
Unless you blew the rings and lost compression slowly and now completely
how do you get valves bolt out if it fall in intake
Put air compressor chuck in spark plug hole and the valves will raise up
What size guage
Hi, I cant get my 110cc thundercar to run, it has spark, compression, and fuel. still wont fire. It will just backfire if I keep cranking it.
bobby perkin it's the carb
bobby perkin it Could be that your valves need gapped Backfires are usually caused by Gas going into the exhaust and igniting on the inner walls of your exhaust pipe Which if it was gapped wrong it might have Backfires but more likely it's your Air/Fuel mixture screw On the Carburetor You can look up the proper setting for it Online But most times you turn it all the way Clockwise until the engine bogs and then turn it out counterclockwise safely testing the throttle till it's running good and doesn't bog down You can also check your Spark plug if it's covered in gas or oil it's getting too much fuel if it's got a little brown it's good
what honda manual for the chinese 125 cc
hey mark I have the 110cc 4 stroke, now the starter has burnt up 2 times now. it turn one whole turn when I go too start it then it clicks then sometimes it acts like it wants to fire up so im being told that its the top dead center ordeal what do you think it could be thanks...
I WOULDN'T THINK IT'S THE STARTER. TAKE THE STARTER OFF AND TEST IT...IM THINKING I COULD MAKE A TROUBLE SHOOTING VIDEO
Lol its was the clutch cover had weding on the inside of it was causing bind up im about to grind in outta their thanks
He said to turn the motor counter-clockwise. I turned it clockwise by accident is that bad?
Not tragic but not good. Dont do it.
any ideas my 110cc comanche gets fuel gets spark has new sparkplug valves are adjusted piston and cylinder are changed and its not going to start but when i crank it its making weird noise
Check your compression, if its low he motor may need to be rebuilt
@@400EX99N there is good combustion but the engine is making weird sound
@@400EX99N crank is good there is no up and down movement in the crank
Sakari M I know this sounds funny but check the electrical system, cdi, stator, and every single tap, or tie in. Then open side case by stator and check wires behind stator wheel. Sometimes break. Still would give spark just won’t allow it to run long or at all
Hi dose anyone on know the value clearance on a demon x 170 thx
Any idea why my 150cc keeps turning on and off like it stays on for a min then turns off is this a carb problem? Or no fuel getting to the carb?
I had the same problem I got a new carb for 15 and it works now
Most likely carb needs to be checked
Replacing the carb is a great way to go if you have any doubts about the existing carb.
Where i can find the correct measure for valve adjust on my chinese quad 90cc?
Leandro idoit
BORE THE CYLINDER TO A BIGGER PISTON. PUT A EXHAUST ON IT, PERFORMANCE AIR FILTER,
do u adjust them warm or cold . i just did mine after it was all heated up ??
Jake Suttill cold spark plug out 04 intake 06 exhaust
@@djmavthompson mm or in?
what is the feeler gauge set for?
measure the gap between the rocker-arm and the valve.
or you could just take off the side cover to see better
Sorry for spell or English is not okay typing not my cup of tea
whats the specs for the feeler Gage
valve clearance / valve lash on my Fuxin Atv 110cc. One manual I have shows 0.03mm to 0.05mm.
what type of quad is this
+kurtis rixon this one is a jetmoto
Would this fix from my bike backfiring??
no, most likely your carb
+400EX99N I mean I'm driving banging through gears (exaggerating) I let go of the throttle didn't even down shift and I hear bang pop pop pop
out of the carb or exhaust?
+400EX99N exhaust
you might have a air leak or you need to go up a size on your pilot jet.The popping is a result of the air/fuel mixture becoming very lean when the throttle is closed and the engine is rotating well above idle speed.
How do i tell if my chinese mini quad is a 2 or 4 stroke its a 70cc??????
if it tells you to add oil to your gas its a 2 stroke, remix(50/1)
All the stickers are off on it its been sitting for a couple years but i been running it like a 2 stroke with 40:1 so it might be a 2 stroke but im not 100% sure.
Does it have valves like the ones in the video, if it dose its a 4 stroke. and if the exhaust pipe coming out of the motor flares out in the middle (double its size) its a 2 stroke
Idk if it has valves i never looked and the exhaust pipe is the same all the way to the muffler..
It has a place to put oil and a dipstick but it doesnt have a oil filter which i heard they dont but how to i see if its a 2 or 4 by the valves because i still cant find out if its a 2 or 4 stroke??????
hahahahaha
@RB20ANDY I GOT IT FOR MY 7 YEAR OLD DAUGTHER TO TEACH HER HOW TO RIDE, I'LL LET HER DESTROY IT LEARNING THEY GET HER A REAL HONDA. THEN I JUNK THE CHINAESE QUAD AND NOT BE OUT A TON OF MONEY

400EX99N thank you.yes the same engine. valve input 0.03. Exhaust valve 0.05. is not it true?
It's Chinese it's a cash hole weak parts
