  • A 20min yoga nidra practice for deep relaxation.
    Yoga nidra means deep yogic sleep, a practice that is about coming into a space of deep rest and relaxation, while staying lightly awake and aware. This will nourish, replenish and revitalise every part of you.
    Yoga nidra is practiced lying down. Please make yourself comfortable on your mat and a blanket over you to keep yourself warm.

    Hi, Paula. I’ve used this as my pre-sleeping routine since the mid of pandemic until now. Thank you a thousand world, this saves my body. I now understand how quality sleep can completely heals our body. With this routine, my body heals every day. THIS NIDRA ABSOLUTELY WORKS.     I've been practising this daily at lunch time. Absolutely refreshing and giving me what I need to go out and smash the rest of the day on a busy schedule. You are pure light, namaste🙏

    I am practicing this once a week on my rest day from strength training and I am absolutely loving it. I go into some another world during this relaxation.
    Your calming voice feels so good. Love your all the other yoga sessions as well.

    The opening shot wowed me, visually. So hats off, production-wise (and the deepest of Yogini bows to you and your production team). Then I did the nidra in bed and it was great.     Horrible! Felt pain! This is the worst yoga nidra I ever did! Completely different to ALL other ones. when asked to tense my muscles as hard as posible It hurt. Honestly so mad.

      She incorporates aspects of Progressive Muscle Relaxation. PMR is an evidence-based practice that triggers the relaxation response. You would tighten each muscle group and continue right up to the face and head muscles) and hold each for the count of 4 then slowly release each muscle so it feels like jelly or like a rag doll. Remember, it is up to you as to how much you to control how much you tighten each muscle being careful if you have an injury. Don’t give up on it but it’s not for everyone. Maybe do just PMR with gentle deep breathing using a good quality app for the meditation music eg Insight Timer. All the best.
