I loved how in this game, you were limited in arsenal depending on what guns you had out. You could carry a long gun, if you used only one pistol; however, if you drew the second pistol, you had to drop your long gun. Very detailed.

Speak for yourself. Max Payne 3 is practically one big shooting gallery. Each level is the same just with different scenery. It doesn't have the same quality of storyline as the original max Payne. This game was as pointless as Kayne and Lynch 2. Both were run and gun games with nice looking graphics. Max Payne 1 was emotional. You saw the guy loose his wife and kid, his best friend, he got set up and had the NYPD after him for a crime he didn't commit. You could see what he was fighting for. In MP3 he's a fucking body guard. I didn't give 2 shits about any of the characters that died in this game and I wasn't bothered if the girl was saved or not. She was just a job there was no real attachment between her and Max. Max is moody in this game just for the fuck of it. He got over loosing his wife when he was fucking Mona Sax in MP2. MP1 is the only game in the series that has a story that justifies his motivations,his suffering and justifies the play on words used in the games title.

Ethan Stapley The whole story is a flashback, those flashback parts are just him describing what he was thinking of during those missions. For example Max tells about him and Passos getting ambushed at the stadium (chapter 3), then when they finish the job Passos says something, which again reminds him of when he met Passos for the first time in Hoboken (chapter 4, hence the 'flashback' missions).
I remember this game having top of the line graphics when it first came out lol still not to shabby. I wish another max payne would come out maybe a remaster of this one
This is rockstar doing linear games with massive detail, they legit went hard with this game, so much of this is in rdr2 n still looks the same if not done better. The gore wasn't used in gta 5 at all, granted that's a massive detailed map vs a linear game with insane detail down to the guns being real guns with accurate pieces. so it's fair n understandable.
Brazil is my country, and this game's simply a masterpice for me. Best TPS I EVER PLAYED! This part, in specific, is just like prisons in here - but that doesn't mean our prisons are trash - y'all be careful when talking about my country.

There's cops like Max in real life, however with all the heavy politics involved in Modern Poloce Departments, that type of Officer is doomed to not last, and they're doomed to die young! Its a win and loss, because Max is a Trigger Happy Loose Cannon, but one hell of a detective!
