3:58 is example of something weird. Max Payne head with word "drink" is cropped from upper screen. On PC in real time cutscenes those "comics" screens are messed up a little bit. Just check up the same cutscenes from console versions. Anybody know the solution to this problem?
What's really funny to me is at this point in the story Max's activities during the first two games are pretty much public info, he's been in the news and been referred to as "Psycho Cop", and of all the people in the world a crime family member would be aware that he's killed dozens, if not literally hundreds, of mobsters and trained hitmen. If reputation is a thing in Max Payne's world he'd be the equivalent of John Wick to any crime boss. And yet Tony and his gang still decides to pick a fight with probably the deadliest drunk in Hoboken known for having an itchy trigger finger. You'd think at the very least his dad would've told his only kid not to fuck with this sheer force of nature.
Those DeMarco men are troublemakers and ended up costing Max to leave Hoboken, NJ to go to San Paulo, Brazil. I bet there should be Max Payne 4 either go to Argentina to find Raoul Passos or back to NYC for Max only for himself to be a Private Security in NYC.
Considering how Max good at demolishing faces of thugs hearing him being afraid for his life after killing DeMarko's son makes you feel that either DeMarko *really* is the guy to be afraid of or times have finally caught up to Max
I never understood why the DeMarco crime family didn’t thank or reward Max for the fact that he single-handedly dealt with their main rival - the Punchinello family. In the second and third parts the Punchinellos simply continued their miserable existence after the DeMarcos rose. Perhaps this is a big omission in the plot. Although this doesn’t correspond to Max's moral values, he could’ve become some sort of Al Neri if Anthony DeMarco took notice of him.
You know the whole New Jersey level makes me think, this is how whole game should have been made. I still hope that if they will make Max Payne or Max Payne remake it would look like this level. It’s just looks like first Max Payne, running on the rooftops again, dirty streets of New Jersey man….

*Marty he ain't fuckin kiddin'.*
Sad we ain't see more games like max payne nowadays 😅
Play El Paso, Or Stranglehold, their like time shooter games like Max Payne.
1:41 ooh that kid is crossing the line
“I ain’t taking nothing away from him that God hasn’t already deprived him of.”
Tbf, I didn’t expect a hard hitting line from some deadbeat Jersey gangster wannabe.
Thank you for all the childhood memories James McCaffrey aka Max Payne. (A bit closer to heaven)
4:41 how my mom used to talk to the ex bf who treated her like shit! Lol
oh
Max Payne is the best video game character ever (with Leon S Kennedy as a close second)
If only GTA V had a story and custscenes like this
0:42 Jersey Shore in da house.
Some major Pauly D vibes
I never understood why the DeMarco crime family didn’t thank or reward Max for the fact that he single-handedly dealt with their main rival - the Punchinello family. In the second and third parts the Punchinellos simply continued their miserable existence after the DeMarcos rose. Perhaps this is a big omission in the plot.
Although this doesn’t correspond to Max's moral values, he could’ve become some sort of Al Neri if Anthony DeMarco took notice of him.
4:30 badass moment what i come from
Payne is a gentleman
@android3220nah max just don’t give a fuck about dying
He sounds like Micheal from gta 5 at 0:03
@Willem DaFuckedUp Seems you're the one who needs their hearing checked with those 16 people who disagree.
@Willem DaFuckedUp okay you win that one, my friend.
@Willem DaFuckedUp he reminded me of Michael as well but he only sounds like Michael in that dialogue.
@@itssonotover961 cause michael is based of from max payne
@@muhibaqeel5380 he is kind of based off but not because of that reason
Writing is fucking gold
“Don’t you look at me, now look at me and say you’re sorry!”
🤣🤣🤣
what's the second song that plays, I know the first is Bright Lights by Gary Clark Jr.
yes ! I have been wondering that too?
+warren byrne Wild in the streets by Garland Jeffreys
SebAnders oh thank you my friend ! it was really starting to annoy me thanks.
I still remember the "looking at things" line. It made the game for me.
You know the whole New Jersey level makes me think, this is how whole game should have been made. I still hope that if they will make Max Payne or Max Payne remake it would look like this level. It’s just looks like first Max Payne, running on the rooftops again, dirty streets of New Jersey man….
The first Max Payne takes place predominantly in the Bronx in New York City. The first mission Roscoe Street takes place on the 5 train line in the Bronx. (I lived there)
@@TheJoey1s it may be different place, but I feel the same atmosphere
Max Payne 3 was originally supposed to be set in Russia instead of Brazil, so it could've been also a snowy dark setting, it was sadly scrapped and they opted for Brazil, which definitelly took away a lot in the atmosphere but it is what it is.
If you want the first Max Payne feeling just play MP1. New devs, they had to try something different with Max and they did it perfectly.
@@TheJok3rMan going for brazil was ultimately the better choice imo, there'd already been 2 games set in a bleak gray snowy city - a third would've just been too much
4:58 i love max
No build up, no talk, no nothing, just immediately boom!
Tony reminds me of Jackie Jr. Don't you dare disrespect his fawtha.
Honestly, they should have had Max say 'victory has a thousand fathers but defeat is an orphan'
He insulted Max’s wife outta respect of his fawtha
He's literally me for real. Just except I'm not a former cop and don't have a gun
Real (I'm just a depressed alcoholic who couldn't get into the police force).
Was watching a walk-through of the game when it first came out. Got to this mission and I immediately stopped the video because i decided I needed to to go out and actually buy the game. Glad I did, one of the best pure third person shooters out there imo.
Just an average day in Jersey
