Best tip I have heard from your channel is to have a wet paper towel next to the cutting board while chopping onions. It works! Thanks to your subscribe who suggested that,
I’m ready to try every one of this weeks recipes. Steven is sure living his best life at dinner time! Cracks me up! But I love the way he praises your meals. 🥰 I have a pork loin in the freezer and I’m going to try the Subbie Supper recipe with on Sunday. I can’t wait. Thanks Mandy for all the great recipes!
I've made 2 out the three & they were a huge hit with my family & myself !! Making the Ramen Noodle recipe today...looking so forward to eating it !! Mandy's awesome & her family !!
Hi Mandy and Steven, I just wanted to tell you how the recopies you make has mad my life so much easier! I have a crock pot and an Instant Pot which I use almost daily. I also have an air fryer which I haven't used as much, until recently watching you make the veggies in the air fryer. I love the crispiest meals that come out of the air fryer. Also, you and Steven really make my day! His humor with you makes me laugh so much, and I really don't have much to laugh about for quite a while. I have 2 grown daughters, and one grown son, who all live in Florida with my grandson and granddaughter. I also have a grown daughter living in RI and she has 2 grown daughters, one has my two great-granddaughters, and is expecting my third great-granddaughter in January, 2024. I bought the veggie chopper and the cheese grater that you have, and I also have Thrive Market deliver my food because I can't drive right now. Prayers for you and your family, daily. I real ly love your channel!!
Ramen noodles on my shopping list .Can not wait to try this one .Tell Steve he is a main reason I always want to try the recipes .He is so nice ,kind and so entertaining , have missed Colt ! Have a great week-end ,God Bless you all !
Oh my GOSH YOU ROCK! Thank you so much. I have the BEST sister in Love and she had a great momma, just like me. Her momma always said. “ I’m really not a great cook. I just have great recipes “. You are a wonderful recipe picker. 😂🤣 Thank you 🙏
I keep a pint and a quart jar in my cabinet. When making any type of sauce such as the Asian sauce, I put the ingredients in the right size jar, add a lid and shake. Mixes it wonderfully and no lumps. Also I can mix up the sauce ahead of time, refrigerate, pull out and shake when it's time to use it.
These all looked like a hit and love the interaction between you two, you made me laugh when you said he was just having a party over there with the pork chops that he loved 😅 💕
I love watching you and your husband cook. How awesome that your family supports you the way they do. I've tried a couple of your recipes since finding your channel recently, and I have saved many others that I want to try. You do my kind of cooking :D
All the recipes look delicious. I am going to try the pork chops first. Thank you for choosing recipes that have common/basic ingredients from the pantry.
I am so happy this week. I am allergic to dairy and usually you do at least one, sometimes all the recipes are heavy with dairy. This week I get to make all three of these recipes. I think the only ingredient I will have to change will be the can of soup in the pork chops. So excited to try these!!! Love your channel!!!
I made the chicken Ramen stir fry with left over chicken and steamed broccoli from last night's dinner. Oh my word!!!! So good! 10 out of 10. Any time I have a Chinese food craving, I'll be making this, thank you!!!
Made Pork Chop dinner last night, Didn't have Pork Chops so I used chicken breast and chicken gravy instead. My husband is still talking about the chicken dinner, Crazy Good!! Also added mushroom served with mashed potatoes, green beans, and french bread.
A twist you can do with the chops is make pickled chops as my grown children call them. Sear the chops the same way but for the sauce use a large can of tomato sauce, add 1 and half cans of water and a few ounces of dill pickle juice also add pepper and garlic. Slice some dill pickles put some on the bottom and more on the top of the chops. I know it sounds odd but let me tell you it is amazing!! The more pickle juice you use the better it tastes !!! served with mashed potatoes and a veggie its awesome!!
I think a piece of Grandma's cornbread would be fantastic with the Cajun cabbage 😋! All of the recipes are looking scrumptious 😋! Thanks y'all! Have a great weekend!!!
One of my best recipes was handed down by my grandfather from Ohio who was part of a traveling band of clowns which toured the country in the 1930s and 40s. Not only did he fully participate as a performer (juggling and spraying seltzer mostly) but he was also in charge of the Clown Chuckwagon, and over the years, came up with a nice selection of mostly campfire stews (or "or stewge" as Gramps used to call them),, soups and casseroles. One of my favorites, casseroles, which I still prepare frequently, consists of baked beans and wieners (for the KETO portion of the meal), macaroni and cheese. and a couple handfuls of those big orange circus peanuts - a sweet yet savory bake-up that's a hit with everyone who tries it. Gramps had one clown name for performing with his fellow troupers at carnivals, civic events, etc., throughout the central Midwest ""Antsy Pants" - but around the campfire at breakfast or suppertime, when most of these talented vagabond buffoons had removed their make-up and hung their giant shoes in their campers, (but oddly enough not all of them) Gramps was affectionately known among the boys as "Yummo." He told me how it wasn't unusual for farmers to donate a hen or two and maybe a couple of dozen eggs, in return for a brief barnyard slapstick performance by a couple of the boys for the farmer, his family and his hired hands.. He also told me as soon as he got back to camp with the chickens, the alcoholic Geek who traveled with them would inevitably beg permission to bite the heads of the pullets when Gramps was ready to get those birds cooking. Seemed that this particular Geek actually not only savored the taste of the live chickens he was required to eat (which were usually provided by the promoter of the event at which the troupe was performing) - but craved more when "off=the-clock" Talk about a Carnivore diet!! Wow!!! Reportedly, he was known to comment that "live chicken pairs well with a pint of Carstairs White Seal Blended." By the way, Grandma also traveled with Gramps. She was the seamstress - making a good number of the clown suits from her own design and repairing all them when required. So of course Gram and Gran rolled along from town- to -town with a big foot pump operated sewing machine in their trailer, - in addition to all the pots, pants, cutlery, stirrers, etc. My Dad was born in a campground in Posey County, Indiana, delivered by a local midwife and plopped into a casserole baking dish as soon as Gramps cut the umbilical cord with his second best onion chopping knife. As for me, I married young and did well for myself in doing so. My wife is the daughter of an outdoor parking lot magnate in a major city in Ohio. I was dowried with three downtown lots. I've had a comfortable life pretty much doing whatever I want all day while other people collect money on my behalf while sitting down in booths, watching TV, reading (or even snoozing between customers arriving and honking the horns to wake 'em up). Consequently, for awhile, I was able to open a couple of storefront business which specialized in selling "clown suits for the whole family," including custom made if somebody wanted them - and even clown suits for the family pets. The seamstresses I hired used Gram's patterns, of course. . The stores were called "Hem and Ha!" - and with every sale, I usually threw in a copy of one of Gramps' recipes for a clown casseroles, "silly stew," "buffoon bread, "Punchinello Porridge,," or what have you. Of course, they all pair well with seltzer water,
I've made the chops & jambalaya today I'm making ramen noodle recipe !! Other 2 we're huge hits !!!! My family loved them !! You're just the best to go to for good recipes !!! Love your all's interactions ..and that you all test your recipes at the end !!! ❣️🙏
I have made this twice, tonight I had mushrooms that I wanted to use so mushrooms were added and my husband said next time add more mushrooms. Sautéed with the chicken. Thank you for the video.
Mandy, I'm from SW Louisiana and we would use about 4 spoons of Tony's and cover the pan for the rice to cook then add the cabbage at the end just to steam. It looks delicious. In full disclosure, my taste buds were burnt as a baby. Lol..
