- Blood of Zeus Season 2 Episode 8 has a number of unexpected events, particularly when the Greek Goddess Gaia chooses to provide the ultimate say in what seems to be a pointless fight between the Greek Gods. In the epilogue, it seemed as though the grandmother had come back to ground them all with looming disaster, demonstrating that even gods are vulnerable.

@@rainstriderstreamflower5645 well yeah because covid fudged up production from season 1 and onwards, but other than that, did you hear anything else regarding the production of season 3? 2 dropped yesterday so Netflix hasn't greenlit 3. Only other bit of info was the the creator planned for 5 seasons, but his intentions aren't solidified since Netflix has to be on board
The UA-camr grace did an interview with the cast and writers of the show on her channel “beyond the trailer” and the writers said the next season should be out next year. They go into full detail on the interview :)

Gaia literally told them that Typhon would be released if they didn't stop fighting. Hades up in his feelings couldn't fathom returning to the underworld and out of selfishness he pretty much assured the destruction of the Olympians.
Hades is selfish? And not the folks who force him to stay in the Underworld forever?
To be fair, the Under World was driving Hades insane. He's a sacrificial lamb for everyone else to enjoy a peaceful life in the Over World.
Unless Heron and everyone collectively agreed that Demeter couldn't blackmail the world with winter to get Persephone, Hades gets the absolute short stick.
@@aviniciussouza100 well he wanted to be one of the three that rule something, didn't he? If he didn't like the outcome he should have let someone else have the underworld and Hades could be a regular god like others.

@@aviniciussouza100 it doesn't matter how he feels, he was sent to the underworld for a reason, putting yourself over what the world needs is indeed selfish no matter what. There is a necessity in being king of the underworld and hades was sent to do just that.

Heron was the unfortunate victim of the gods vying for power and betrayals making gaia invoking the released of typhon with no remorse for her Olympian children and grandchildren feel her wrath of starting a new war against the gods releasing the titans brining the olympians downfall.
He deserved every bit of it…. All hades wanted was a life and family out of the underworldzz herion tried to sentence him to the underworld and he got dealt with

I actually think hades is nicer then ares considering how he acted ( remorseful ) when persephone’s mother started killing humans in order to hurt the other olympians with those plant things

I also liked Zeus.
but Demeter is wicked. and so is her daughter Persephone for allowing her mother to go that far and do that to innocent people. she went full *Last of US* on them.
that idea in Hades head, 'when two people are meant to be together' is wicked too. look what Hades did. and yet I can still understand him.
I think it's unfair to force him to stay in the underworld when it does that too his body.
and when Heron tells him to go back to the underworld I can understand his anger, but Heron probably had no idea how the underworld poisoned him and his children.
but why does the underworld poison him?.. there must be a solution he hasn't seen. seems wrong of it to do so when its his realm. maybe because he never really made peace with it and accepted his role-- I think would be a cool idea if his body healed.
but because of Ares ...I laughed at what Gaia did. serve him right, and Demeter, and all the bully ones. and the ones, not main characters, but share the same lack of respect for humans.
just feel bad for some of the gods that were kind of cool and less jerks. like Apollo, Athena and Hermes.
And Hestia, she was a good person who didn't deserve Typhon ,but too many bad gods that outweighed the good gods.
this show is the most mythilogically accurate depiction of greek gods, while it may seem cool that every god is good, Zeus, is r@p.ist so is posiden and all greek gods are just too bad to be depicted as good

I feel so bad for Hades, he would've been completely fine until Haron said he must go back to the underworld.
Not only would he be apart from his wife, but he'd also need to listen to the dead screaming which is something he rightfully said is no one wants to listen to

Blood of zeus season 2 ending explained.... I was expecting some kind of explanation, or more about who Typhon is, not a recap of what happened. We know what happened we just watched it.....

For what it’s worth in the mythology typhoon is king of the monsters, a massive force of nature that took all the Olympians to stop, it depends on the myth but he’s one of the most dangerous and powerful enemies to the gods
Facts and his low vibrational voice makes it no better, I didn't make it past 2minutes I only came to comments🤣🤣
And the ending is shocking the gods know including hera, zeus, hades, and the olympians is at fault of heron death after he made peace for all the gods to come to terms and work together but instead their worst nightmare came true after defeating the titans of the first great War, the giagantomachy in season 1, and now typhon the gods worst feared enemy more powerful than both the gods and titans combined is awakened bringing forth a new war against the gods in season 3.

In actual mythology they barely defeated Typhon, and like in the show, they couldn't actually kill him.
The Olympians were giving real housewives level melodrama and i loved it

That’s my theory, because she instantly appeared after Heron Died and summoned Typhoon meaning that no one could stop typhoon now makes, and it shows more given she was manipulating everyone since the beginning

I found Hades and Persephone's problem very shallow. 6 months apart? Hello, some wives AND husbands call it a vacation! And it is also a routine! It is 100% guaranteed that Persephone will be back! Zeus and Hera has a real problem in their relationship, with Zeus and his philandering ways but Zeus did deserve being the ruler since it was always him who was defending them gods all the time, Gaia was right, they deserved some quality time with Typhon, then maybe they can all enjoy Tartarus together for being petty.
@@larryperlas7616 I mean,I personally saw how bad my own mother was taking it when my father was leaving for 4+ months because of how,and it also affected him and his children. 6 months with a partner you deeply is pain,especially if you consider the fact that even Persephone doesn't want to leave and that they have been doing this for a few hundred years,so pain becomes frustration.

@@ryomahoshi4529 It is not. Especially if the trust is strong, what happened with your parents is unfortunate but maybe they are not emotionally mature to handle any type of separation. Also, Hades kept secrets from Persephone as well, I would not believe that Persephone would allow dirty tactics and unnecessary bloodshed just because of a six month itch. She even hated seeing Ares and Hades get violent in one episode! She also got angry with Demeter at the end when she knew she helped poison the world. My guess is by season three all this backfires and Persephone will turn her back on Hades and Demeter. A weak relationship cannot stand anything, not even a six month separation.
@@larryperlas7616 The problem with Persephone leaving is not trust,but pain of having someone you love being forced for 6 months to be away,while they have children. She is against violence and yes,there are going to be issues when she learns what DEMETER forced Hades to do,and what he himself do to get some sort of justice,but she's not clean either,she knew what he was manipulating Seraphim and if I remember right,was okay with it. Neither of them are clean of being bad to get away from a dumb situation. I you just see it as stupid or shallow then you didn't understand the point of them doing it in the first place

@@kevinbergonia5806I thought Zeus was going to arrive right after heron made his speech(Seems stupid but hear me out) when Zeus was in the trials, they said that someone needs to good in his name(He wanted peace at the end of season 1 right?) heron was trying to bring peace and yes it might have been unfair to send hades back to the underworld but heron doesn’t know what it does and he can’t be with the one he loves so he kills heron………..I love how they make greed a total factor in S2

What an ending to this season, I absolutely love this show! I want to see a season 3, there will be one for sure. The creators said season 3 will take a year to make. They also have a Medusa project so we will also see Perseus 🔥🔥 love this show

Well, all this problems would be prevented, if Demeter wouldn't be a too possesive mother.
1. Seraphim will deffo be the main hero for S3 and will be the one to tire down Typhon due to him being Half-Titan
2. They should do a prequel spin-off with Zeus, Hades and Poseidon with the other Olympians in the meantime with how everything came to be
3. I think Hades is Ares' biological father not Zeus which is why Zeus always resented Ares and Ares feeling like he had to constantly prove himself to everyone and plus Ares looks more like a mixture of Hera and Hades then Hera and Zeus and it would explain why Zeus always cheated on Hera time and time again meaning the joke would be be on Ares as he would be a bastard himself 😅😅😅😅😅😅

Only issue with Gaia's reaction is that isn't she also causing havoc for the Earth by unleashing Typhon?

I watched this to figure out who and what typhoon will do. Kinda disappointed u just told me play by play of the last episode I already saw
Usually I dislike watching these breakdown because you always say something idiotic that annoys me. It was not too easy for Heron and Seraphim to get in because they both had the requirement. Seraphim had the blood of Giants and Heron had Zeus's blood and ring. Should they have stood there fighting pointlessly. Really.

Just like Season 1, I’d rate Blood of Zeus Season 2 a 7/10. There were parts I liked and parts I disliked.
What I liked:
-We got to see more of gods that were barely shown in season 1, such as Hades, Athena, and Demeter. We even got new gods like Gaea, Persephone, and Hestia, the third one is virtually unseen. There were also minor characters such as the Keres present, which I enjoyed seeing.
-While Heron still isn’t my favorite character (probably never will) he did develop. Last season Heron was just your average anime protagonist, he still kinda is but does develop more so I’ll give him that. Seraphim developed a lot as well and we saw more of his past with his lover.
-More world building which makes the story more interesting. My favorite part had to be the whole Typhon thing.
What I disliked:
-Most of Hades’ cause falls into the typical Hollywood Hades. He was cheated by Zeus, he hates ruling the Underworld, now he wants to rule Olympus. He feels a lot like the Hades we’ve seen in Disney’s Hercules, Clash of the Titans 2010, Percy Jackson movies, and countless others.
-A lot of the characters feel like they’re just there. Such as Poseidon, Ares, Evios, and Kofi. Evios is silent until when he randomly decides to bail on the team, never to be seen again. He’s a wasted character.
-This is something I noticed back in season 1. They tend to do the unpredictable too early imo. At the end of season 1, Zeus dies. At the end of season 2, Heron dies. Assuming the series is 5 seasons long (as the Parlapanides Brothers wanted it to be) they killed off 2 main characters at the beginning. Removes the shock value and makes it more predictable as the story goes on.
At this rate, killing off main characters,I am expecting Christianity to be the protagonist by season 5, and the entire series was an introduction to the Christian life all along
