Zeus was so angry hades was gorgeous and stole all his bitches that he gave hades stress to lose his hair
Skill issue
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was going to say dang they drew him so beautifully!
Zeus really just grimy 😅
Zeus: So what are we not allowed to say?
Hectae: The creature's name.
Zeus: You mean Typhon?
Hectae: FUUUUUU-!
You mean Hecate?
@@mikhailthegreatestdragon3627 That Goddess is not Hecate. Hades said it is magic from the east, from Anatolia (Asia Minor). So I guess that is Cybele - the Anatolian mother goddess.
The Greeek colonies in Asia Minor adopted and spread her cult back to the main land Greece.
There are many version of Cybele in Greece. Some version assimilated her with the Greek earth goddess Gaia , Demeter and etc. But most popular version view her as a foreign 'mystery-goddess' with a lion-drawn chariot.
@voratittchunharuckchot9711
Dude, Hecate *is* from Anatolia, her oldest derivates came from there. Read a book.
@@voratittchunharuckchot9711 hmm... ins't Equidna?

So Cybele and Hecate share some similarities?
FINALLY Typhon gets recognition. He’s legit one of, if not the most underrated villain of Greek mythology.
Yes Finally!!! They been playing with his name for years!!! They also have to give Hades his respect also he is really way to strong but he dont be showcased in the show as it seems.
@@vitalcrazy145Think Hades was done well enough.
Him bitch slapping Ares was enough for me lol
Dude so powerful, he made the rest of the pantheon high tail it to Egypt!
@@Nyrufa I take it that you know your greek mythology. Great job! I studied Greek and Norse Mythology in college
@@TheThecrusher I used to. Was practically obsessed with it when I was younger, but sadly have forgotten most of it by now.
typhon is the greek godzilla
Ironically he is in the Monsterverse
He really is, isn’t he.
@@LindenHS-Hillcraftwhaaa?
Nope ,he is more powerful than all the monsters in the monster verse combined.
Funny cause theres a comic where godzilla fights the greek pantheon and killes all the gods
I was always a fan of Hecate The Goddess of Witches so when I saw her here I was cheering.
Was she the witch? I hate that they don't name the camoes
@@axt7276 hades says the witch was from the east, Anatolia. So likely not Hecate
@@axt7276yes hekate is the goddess of witchcraft and is believed to possibly originated among the Carians of Anatolia near turkey, I agree I wish they would just tell us their name but I guess they want us to figure it out using context
@@rachitsinhachaudhuri3992
Hekate also originates from Anatolia. Besides, the credits of the episode confirmed it was indeed her.
and so Hekate chanted a spell that would keep the beast imprisoned, but warned the Gods that names have power, and so the beast's very name became a tabboo
in the original myths, Hekate was said to have been a Titan, but she fought for the Gods during the war, and later on, she played a role in using her torches to guide Demeter when Demeter was trying to find what had become of her daughter, who was abducted by Hades
They perfectly captured the terrifying essence of Typhon. Damn, I can't wait the Father of Monsters unleashed in S3 !!!
gonna have to wait another 4 years lol
@@lukesimon2227 I doubt that. They delayed S2 because of Covid
@@lukesimon2227 According to the creators, they have five seasons outlined. So we only have to wait 12 years to watch all the seasons lool.

@@maxburrill6192I love your comment!
At first I thought that monster was just someone completely original or not much known, but when Gaia was about to chant Typhon’s name, I immediately started to feel suspicious like “wait, it’s Typhon!” Then as she chanted Typhon’s name, I was like “I KNEW IT!”
For me, the moment Hades started telling that "it would grow to become more powerful than Titans and Giants combined" and his design immediatly told me that it was Typhon, most importantly when they imprisoned him "below Mount Etna" and the way the Gods feared him that they didn't dare to speak his name.
When Gaia finally said it in the end, a chill came down my spine.
@@lucagz6481 same reaction.
Im actually glad typhon has significance😭
Before season 2 i assumed the one giant that zeus had to kamikaze was typhon. But im glad its not
@@burnermansam7588 yep. Besides I haven’t seen Typhon in action tbh. Him being the father of monsters is dope. Can’t wait to see his impressive powers.
I knew it was Typhon the moment Hades described things like:
1. Every god fled, except Zeus, who defeated it.
2. It was buried under Mt Etna.
People with even the basic knowledge of Greek monsters will recognize that Mt. Etna is where Typhon is buried.
Okay, but Hades with hair was sooo beautiful tho 😍
Hades: zeus where's my hair? You f*&*^ing cheated me! Where 👏 is 👏 my 👏 hair!?
Typhon.
THE Typhon.
The Father of Monsters
The Abomination King.
Olympus-Bane.
The Unkillable.
The Walking Armageddon.
CHAOS FREAK’N INCARNATE!!!
Well no. Khaos is chaos incarnate, but sure close enough.
Yep that's the one
Chaos is a different entity. The primordial void older than Gaea.
Hades was quite handsome in his earlier years. However, countless eons ruling the underworld: the stress, isolation, and betrayal scarred him emotionally and mentally. His appearance was even warp/ twisted. Also, it was wrong how Zeus and Hera cheated him.
Well hades still looks good I mean look at it this way he looks better than the ogre that Seraphim killed
@randomguy56789 by far, yes... I was just pointing out how his time as keeper of the underworld had changed him.

Hecate is one of my favorite gods from this pantheon. I was so happy to see her! I really want them to show us Nyx/Nox next season..I want them to show how powerful the primordial titans are!
I KNOOOW WHEN I FIRST SAW HERA I THOUGHT SHE WAS NYX HHE
Same here 🤩🤩🤩🤩
This series is so good. I hope they get a series 3 and confirmation all the way to series 5.
Can you tell the title plzs
Typhon enjoys a very enthusiastic walk.
*smirks in Alucard*
And now he’s back the father of monsters, and if he becomes ruler of the cosmos well let’s just say humans won’t be dominant monsters will if there’s one thing I can guarantee you is that if Zeus is King of gods typhoon is king of the monsters
Typhon ain't just the king of monsters - he's their literal father. His wife Echidna was a fellow giantess/monster, whom he impregnated once - but instead of just one or twin children, she gave birth to literally every Greek monster (other than those who have different backstories, like Medusa or Minotaur)...
@@Kncperseus Will Gaia resurrect the Titans?
One giant was kind of base on Typhon with those two snakes/serpents and horns yet Season 2 had Typhon himself.
That was Porphyrion, leader of the Giants, but, yeah, they took many influences to make each giant unique.
Zeus was made that Hades was "Mr. Steal your gurl"
1:50 They should have had kept Hades with his long hair!!! That would have made him more attractive enough to Persephone!!!
He was attractive enough
She loved him just the way he was.
Hades got old, depressed, stressed so its not shocking to see all that age and hair loss lol.
@@rarzarbex9172 Right! Countless eons as keeper of the underworld, had changed him
Still kept the long gorgeous locks just for a little while 😞
I don’t know why ppl always assume and imagine HADES hating his life and what has fallen to his lot.
HE IS THE RULER OF THE AFTERLIFE. Not just the Greek equivalent of Hell, but also the Heavens. The Fields of Elysium… The Isle of the Blessed that houses the likes of Achilles, Attis, Perseus, Hector, Theseus, Atalanta, Helen and Adonis… most likely Medusa after she gets killed and becomes beautiful again as the curse breaks. Most likely Alexander the Great after he dies at the height of his glory.
The Isle of the Blessed is supposed to be as beautiful as Mount Olympus. And he gets to rule over all that!
Yeah but most of the Underworld is miserable. And as he put it, he has to feel the pain and sorrow of every mortal that dies. Especially those that were murdered and their regret of leaving their loved ones behind.
Hades got the shorter end of the stick and was literally "Set Up" to be the keeper of the underworld by Zeus and hera. The fact is Hades was the noblest and perhaps the most honorable of the big 3. The underworld wasn't a pleasant place for him. And over time, its darkness began to grip and take hold of him.
@@cameronbrown3422 Are you talking about this derivative show, or the happenings in the actual myths?
Because the actual myths never frame the dispersion of the realms as any one of the brothers, or sisters of that matter, getting ‘the short end of the stick’ and Hera plays no part in it whatsoever.
@alantes I am referring to the show, obviously lol, I never mentioned the actual lore
🎉 that scene where Gaia was about to chant Typhons name.... i literally held my breath 😮😮😮😮
It wasn't until they mentioned that the monster can't be killed and it was imprisoned under a mountain that I realized that the monster they are preferring to is Typhon.
Zeus is the most powerful in the Illiad he defeated Typhon with ease while the other olympians ran away and Hades was trembling in the underworld.
What are you talking about? Zeus was ALSO beaten by Typhon, he ripped off his tendons and imprisoned him.
Only with the help of the Hekatonkheires and the Moirae, who gave Typhon some food which weakened him, making him believe that it would make him stronger instead, could Zeus finally prevail.
@@albertpuig6273 no he wasn't that was the roman version not Homer from the Illiad in the Illiad Zeus defeated Typhon with ease.
Ripped off tendons and imprisoned was never the case in the original texts. Only later by the romans they claimed he was imprisoned or defeated not according to Homer or Hesiod l.
Homer qoute:
Zeus with his thunderbolt easily overcomes Typhon, who is thrown down to earth in a fiery crash: So when Zeus had raised up his might and seized his arms, thunder and lightning and lurid thunderbolt, he leaped from Olympus and struck him, and burned all the marvellous heads of the monster about him.
Yeah it was never a challenge to begin with lol
Hades aged like fine wise yummmm!❤❤🤩🤩
Loved seeing Hecate in this! Hecate is seen as a neutral deity but would only intervene if her followers were threatened. The only reason she killed Clytius was because he was harming her followers. It makes sense she would seal Typhon away to protect her own. Hecate and Typhon were one of the few deities that Zeus feared. The cosmic world soul. She who draws power from the infinite sea. She the membrane between worlds.
is it in the myths or in the show because in the myths i think it was nyx who zeus feared
Typhon was so scary the greek gods fled from there realms to another. And Egypt was one the realm
I am so glad they are putting Typhon is going to get animated.
I didn't know who Typhon was, I was watching this video thinking, "Yup it's the Kraken"
The Kraken belongs the scandinavian myths, but media through the years mixed him up with the greek mythology, just like Hades is often treated as the "Devil" when he is nothing like that in Greek mythology (and this series proves it).
@@lucagz6481to be fair, things like Scylla and her sister, along with various sea serpents and the like, do exist in Greek mythology. They definitely do hold some similarities to the Kraken.
The best cliffhanger I've seen for ages.
My name is Typhonus, and I grew up reading many stories of the great Typhon... I knew he would return someday!🐉
Other Pantheons collaborating during times a great need. Expanded Patheonverse when?!
They should do Egyptian mythology next
Actually, the goddess that helps them imprison Typhon is Hekate, the greek goddess of magic and witchcraft.
@@lucagz6481 the Cthonic titan? Impressive.
I knew it had to be Typhon, but his feet appeared and his lower body in the myth is made entirely of snakes, like Gwendolyn from Dark Souls and I wasn't all that sure until he said mount Etna
did anyone else just blow through Season 2? God i love it

hades looks like jason mamoa here
Gaea at the end of season2... beetlejuice, beetlejuice, BEETLEJUICE!
Love this depiction of Mother Hekate ❤❤❤❤❤
ngl young hades is HOT!
Typhon needs more attention.
I’ve seen some debate as to if the “witch” goddess in this scene is Hecate. If you look at the credits, the voice actors are listed beside their respective character. Courtney Taylor is who voiced the witch goddess, and beside her name the character is listed as Hecate. Most likely the creators want to expand into different pantheons next season, so they chose to follow the mythos of Hecate originating from Anatolia. I imagine they will expand on her mythos and bring her back for a pivotal role in season 3. Hopefully they will properly name her instead of just saying that she is a goddess from the east, from Anatolia.
TY-PHON! TY-PHON! TY-PHON!
Hades shouldn't be EVIL here
He isn't evil.
He's just tragic
Here’s the thing, Hades wasn’t evil in this just tired of living in the underworld. In actually Greek mythology he isn’t evil either, scary and intimidating, absolutely but not evil. But he did his job better than the other gods and whenever he did deal with mortals he was actually fair to them, he never cheated or changed the deal with them. Also he never did the messed up things that the other gods did to mortals, kill, rape, genocide etc. He just kept doing his job in the underworld. People just assume he’s evil because he rules the underworld, even though everyone goes to the underworld when they die.
That "antolia" hurted me man
Anatolia is so fcuking easy to pronounce xD
Esse é o real significado de "Lindo como um deus grego"
I thought the leader of the giants was intended to be Typhon because of his design with the twin snakes, cool to see the real version show up in some capacity.
Oooo when I saw him I was like "Is that Typhon?!"
Bro they did hades mad dirty
The look of Typhon is when do an art work the night before submission day....
This is the greatest series ever so well done love blood of zeus 🎉also Hades was hot he was gorgeous 😊

The name of Zeuss brother is Silos (hyperion)-mythos-grimoire
I feel sorry for Hades. The Gods have been unfair to him and Persephone.
Unfair is an understatementthe other gods literally "set up" Hades to be the keeper of the underworld!
And what if Typhon meet Lucifer the fallen beast
Holy cow, it's Cthullu
The moment Gaia said his name. I impulsively said oh, SHIT. 😰😱
Called on magic from the East? Antoliya? Ok...
I can dig it. But one thing made sense with Hekate, she is a pre-olympian, pre-greek deity. makes sense they said she was from Anatolia.
Python and Typhon lmao
Leave it to hades to show septh the truth and nothing but the truth.
I don’t know why they changed hades design he was a chad
How did the last titan fell if his blood can create giants and typhoon?
From daryl dixon to triple H
Wait until they find out it is really just a guy in a rubber suit. ;-)
MAXIMUM TYPHOON............
So the snake and Typhone work together in this case? Who is the snake? What does it want exactly?
Vengeance against Apollo likely from slaying it the first time. It's a vicious and petty beast that represents enmity, lust, aggression, revenge, and poisoning one against others.
Reminds me of the Beetlejuice movie where they can’t speak his name.
Can anyone plzs tell me the title of this series
SHIT is that Godzilla cousin WOW
A 2v1?
I dislike how they did Hades but everything else was fine. I sort off expected them to make Hades what Poseidon and Gaia were. He should have been like his Mythic Counterpart who was a Family Man through and through and tried everything possible to prevent bloodshed and was a Voice of a Reason and if he couldn’t prevent a Fight he always stayed Neutral.
The without a doubt worst part was when they made Hades so miserable and a simp that he allowed Demeter to unleash Covid-19 on Hellas instead of stopping her. Mythology Hades would have gutted Demeter right then and there.
They should have made Poseidon the Villain who was after the Eleusinan Stone cuz In Myths Hades chose the Underworld right after the Titans were dethroned and was totally fine there it was Poseidon who was always causing Havoc and Trouble and didn’t give two fucks about Mortals or the fragile Balance of Powers, was envious and tried to dethrone Zeus multiple times. Hades actually always had Zeus back and even helped him escape from a trap Hera, Poseidon and Athene laid in the Ilad.
The best depiction of Hades ironically came from AC Odyssey where he was a wise Ruler but also a sadistic Master Manipulator who took great pleasure in hearing the Guilty and Useless tortured in Tartarus or being stuck in Asphodel and the Fields of punishment cuz that’s how he is described in Myth. He rules the Four Realms of the Underworld harsh but he also ain’t merciless and always gives Mortals chances to redeem themselves by working for him and adding him guide Souls to their eternal peace while taking joy in seeing evil Souls being tortured. Plus like his Mythical Counterpart he is a fuckin GAMBLER!!!!!!!!!
I really hoped that they would have broken the trend of making Hades the bad guy and made him instead the Voice of Reason that Hera was in Season 2 telling the other Gods that fighting would get them nowhere. Instead of manipulating, he should have been actually trying redeem Seraphim if only for his own amusement till Poseidon or Ares managed to bride Seraphim to support them all while Hades was watching everything and making Bets with either Gaia on who screws up first and while betting they discuss Mortals and Gods alike all while watching Heron and Seraphim. The Final Episode before Gaia crushed the Stone should have instead shown that the Stone everyone was fighting over was actually fake and shattered after Heron spends the decoys power. Then Hades appears alongside Gaia revealing that he had the actual Stone the entire Time after Gaia gave it to him to keep it safe, cuz she knew that some of the Gods would try dirty tricks. Hades then gives it to Heron while tossing a Drachma coin 🪙 to Gaia saying „It appears you win the bet Grandmother.” It’s then where Heron gets backstabbed by Ares or better yet Poseidon and all hell breaks loose and the Series ends with Typhon being unleashed, the Gods running away in fear all while Hades escorts Heron’s and Seraphim’s souls to the Underworld to the Isle of Blessed uniting the two Brothers with their mother together for the First Time saying that they can rest now.
omg do i have to say it to all I aM NoT ThAt PeRson listen the witch in this scene where hades says is from the east you know with the three arms and looks soo badass is the greek goddess of magic and witchcraft hecate you guys out here trying so hard to correct just because hades said it she is Hecate the GREEK goddess of magic omg
Same ending for season 2 like Season 1 lol
So no Nike?
Cuthulu?
Why did it look like they asked favor from Kali?
She was not a goddess of witchcraft, hope you know that.
yo is the eastern goddess Cybele? does this mean other pantheons exist?
Not exactly. Hades said that the goddess that sealed Typhon was from 6 is modern-day Turkey. The Greek Empire once took control of the region, stretching almost all the way to India.
I think the goddess is Hecate the Goddess of Magic. She is a deity that, like Aphrodite, existed long before the Pantheon existed. Back when the Titans still existed.
Typhon is a child of 2 primordial gods:Gaia and Tartarus, which makes him their uncle.😏
Jason Mamoa will play Hades in the live action movie
He would be much better as Poseidon
Whos the witch?
Hecate
Only reason I know typhon is immortals Feynx rising
Am I the only one who noticed the character design went through a kind of down grade? What happened? It's most noticible when you compare the characters' eyes in s1 vs s2.
