I understand the giant’s nature to eat humans. But lying and breaking an oath is a great sin.
Yes, for you should always honor your word.
The fact that it’s in his nature to eat humans is enough reason to kill him.
the giant eats humans for breakfast no matter what and your concern is about breaking oaths💀
@godsubliminal6509 In Mythology, breaking your word is a BIG Nono, taboo. If someone answered a riddle or solved a conflict, they were rewarded with what they were promised, NO EXCEPTIONS. Especially in Greek mythology, a monster going back on their word is something that doesn’t happen.
@@godsubliminal6509 I don't think you understand. What the giant did was one of the biggest sins in the mythology of the old world. People don't take it as seriously anymore because we are protecting the legislative, police, etc. but breaking your oath back then would hurt your reputation and nobody would trust you with heck. In the fantasy of mythology, individuals like that giant were cowardly scumbags of no worth, facing the harshest punishment for their crappy behavior. It is his nature to eat humans, but it is his choice to be a lying oathbreaker dickhead.
Giant: It's my nature.
Seraphim: ...Dead things have no nature.
Cold asf 🥶
The Giant had that coming.
Definitely
I guess you could say He... fell for that one 😎
@@Lava91point0ba dum psss!!!
For me, he is the deepest character of the series. I hope he will find peace one day ❤
So do I, this season made efforts to humanising Seraphim by making him more than a wrath filled demon
I agree
He is cute
Everyone says Hades and Persephone stole the show but for me it was Seraphim, I hope he finds peace with Gorgo.
One day,he would challenge Kratos again..
Seraphim did suffered lot, especially now he found out his fiancee whom he loved the most after he literally lost his adoptive mom and his bear siblings, was killed and stuck in Underworld whom he left for revenge is really sad for him.
I understand he didn't meant to get her kill but he was too blind in his revenge against everyone who made his life a living hell. Even Hades somehow understood that and Seraphim didn't care if he used him, all he wanted was the woman he loved back
And he didn't realized the women that he killed to get back at zeus was his biological mother.
@@kingKaiju393 A guilt that will remain in him for eternity
@@ameyalissabarron1466 pretty much.
why is she stuck in the underworld ? She commited no evils, if anything, she should be in the Elyseums fields.
@@efaristi9737it is because to cross the river you need some coin for it, which she and the other souls don’t have that’s why she couldn’t cross
2:18 anyone else thought that Seraphim was about to spear the giants nuts?
X2 XD
That’s literally what I thoguht while I watched this episode 😂😂😭
I'm not the only one
Probably knew the giant had no balls
Lmfao me too.
1:52
Frog: why did you sting me
Scorpion: because, I am a scorpion
Except the giant would give a riddle and kill people regardless if they got it right or not. A scorpion kills, without question because that's what it is, the giant gave people false hope of safe passage because it was sadistic. That not nature thats cruelty
Nature… is cruel
I don’t know why, how, or when I thought that Seraphim had a lover but when I saw that he did I legit shouted at the top of my lungs “I KNEW IT!!!!!!”.
Oddly enough, I had headcanons that Seraphim would have a lover. I never expected it to become an actual thing. And to be frank, I don't know how I feel about it. Like yeah, Seraphim should find a lover. But there was no indication that he had a lover in season 1. As he was obsessed with avenging his adopted mother, the bears, and his own suffering.
This kind of came out of nowhere.
@@TimberlakeTigerGirlAin’t to far fetched we knew he wasn’t all bad.
In Virtually all Mythlogies Supernatural beings NEVER brake their word when someone correctly answers their Riddle or question. A monster going back on his word like this just would NOT happen😅
They did Heron dirty this season. It was as if the show was all about Hades and Seraphim. Even Hera's arc was more nuanced than his.
Honestly I think this season was actually supposed to be about seraphim and hades. This series isn’t about just Heron, it’s about these brothers. And this season was Seraphim’s season with Hades being his god, paralleling the relationship between Heron and Zeus. Ironically enough, Hades and Zeus are also brothers so it comes full circle. But where Hades and Zeus failed at being good to each other, Heron and Seraphim can succeed.
@@melissaherrera940 Perfectly said
@@melissaherrera940 You got it sis
@@melissaherrera940 I think thats spot on! To me though season 1 felt like the actual title "blood of zeus". This season did not. Felt like the family of Zeus. Hopefully s3 can continue with success.Overall I enjoy it.
This scene: when Seraphim avenged his fiancé's death from the tree bender. Was so satisfying to see. Also, breaking an agreement is a repulsive thing to do. It is a brutal vice!!
I've never heard of this series before, but that scene was pretty nice.
Blood of Zeus
I'm not gay but God DAHMN did they made Seraphim a beefcake
Yeah he's hot! Hot
If you're not gay, you don't need to announce it... 😏
But yeah, I agree with you on the rest.
lol
You are gay.
@@ibauslo90 Eu acho que você é e isso deve fazer muito tempo!
Most satisfying revenge in season 2
I don't remember him having a love interest from the first season.
She’s first mentioned in Seraphim’s trial during season two
Plus it happened when he was human, which we never got the pleasure of seeing until now
@@user-rt3is8bw5g He was human for a while in season one. It turns out they just retconned her into the story because they wanted him to have a romantic interest. Which is a damn shame because Frozen proved that sibling love can make for a strong story and this romantic love thing is way overdone.
@Spawned-uy8ip Considering all the s*it Seraphim has been through, he deserves getting a love interest. So does Heron; they both deserve to have love.
Don't take this wrong but I'm honestly surprised that Netflix didn't make at least one of the brothers gay. Not that homosexuality is wrong, it's just a common thing nowadays where at least one of the main characters in shows is gay.
@@TimberlakeTigerGirl Dude, Frozen proved how the best type of love there is happens to be love between family members. Those brothers need one another far more than they need some romantic love interest. The writers dropped the ball on this one.
Yea seraphim is building up to being my favorite character
1:05 This character seems to be based on a couple of brigands that Theseus killed. One of them did this regularly. Just the implication he did this to her is the most disturbed thing.
That is JUSTICE
Seraphim…. Vengeance incarnate !!!
I have a head Canon that in this universe, Seraphim becomes a God of Vengeance. People that lost loved ones to murder and get no justice from the courts or the government can pray to him to get justice/revenge for them.
@@TimberlakeTigerGirlthat sounds awesome
@zodiacqueen1356 Kind of got the idea from an anime called Noragami. If you don't know what it's about; basically it's about the adventures of a young girl. Who befriends/falls in love with a minor Japanese god who does menial tasks for mortals who pay 5 yen (roughly a nickle). He was also known as a god of calamity, who was once tasked with carrying out acts of vengeance by mortals who felt like they had been wronged. An example is when a woman asked him to kill her daughters killer because he smirked in the courtroom. And didn't get the death penalty just because it was his first murder.
Even though he sometimes gave justice to mortals who actually needed it, he was mostly used to cause a lot of devastation when war occurred, and eventually he got sick of it and called it quits.
I don't see Seraphim as the type to quit giving real justice and making evil people pay for what they did.
Nemesis is already the goddess of Vengeance, and in Roman mythology revenge incarnate is a centurion named Deismos
@williambraud4979 nope she's retribution
"Because it is my nature." Is a powerfull answer.
And a wisdom modern west definitely forgot.
At time we had this lesson in a lot of mythos/fables/stories... so do other cultures. Some people and things are just the way they are.
"Because it is my nature" "I curse you and your nature" Just because you are the way you are, that won't stop people from doing what they must.
Seraphim And Gorgo
Couple
Priestess
Hopefully, in season three, they'll write him getting her out of the Underworld so they can have a real shot.
Yeah is that supposed to be a medusa reference? She was also a priestess just like Medusa before being turned into a gorgon. But I know there was also another person in greek mythology called Gorgo. Or it all could just be a coincidence.
Hey sorry am super late on this but is the priestess name gorgo?
He said give my best to the judges, but since the treebender didn’t have coins placed in his eyes won’t he never meet them since he’s stuck in limbo?
I think that only applies to humans. Zeus didn't have coins but he came forward to the judges. So did Seraphim.
@@TimberlakeTigerGirl Hermes was there to pay for Zeus, and I think it shows hades placing coins over seraphim’s eyes once. It can also be argued they are special exceptions being the king of the gods and being pardoned by the king of the dead.
Nice moskov fightin
Seraphim should have kept his cape
If you think about it, as bad as he is, that tree bender can’t be blamed. He’s a monster and will kill or wrong anyone he can. The fault is with Seraphim, who should have chose her over his desire for revenge. Had he done that, she’d still be alive, and they’d be happy together.
Searaphim is my favorite character
“It’s in my nature “ cold af
Why did you eat the last dumpling?
It's my nature
Moskov Mobile Legend😂
How did Seraphim knew all that?
Did we miss a scene?- Mythology Guy
I would assume Hades told him. Since he's the God of the Underworld he knows how every human dies. Once he realized that Seraphim had a lover that died, he checked up on how and told Seraphim.
I wonder how or where he picked up and honed his skills? They need to reveal that..
From what band is the 'burn it to the ground' at the end?
2:30 Bloody
Muitobom
Something tells me the elysian fields don’t exist yet.
It does; the problem is that when Gorgo was killed, she couldn't cross over because she didn't make the payment. In Greek mythology, the dead have 2 gold coins put over their eyes because that's the payment fee to cross into the Underworld. But since she was devoured by the giant, that would be impossible, so she's essentially stuck in limbo unless Seraphim can complete his task. In return, Hades said he would help Gorgo cross over and settle into the Elysian Fields since she was a good person.
wasn't the tree bender just a regular human with above average strength in the mythology?
Isn't it the Sphinx the one known for doing riddles not the tree bender "Sinis"?
I love this scene. I love Seraphim.
Falling off a random cliff like that, I think he'll also be able to give your best to Wile E. Coyote
That was a troll. Giants would be way bigger
Get him!!!!!!!!!!
Killed way too soon.

TBH I never hated Seraphim and this is including him back in season 1. His motive is just especially when you look at the God actions, I mean yeah, most of them were a bunch of dicks!
What is the name of his spear?
A bident. It belongs to Hades
just Hades' bident
@user-ol9ck7ig2f I'm not sure if your familiar with Cuculen, the hound of Ulsters spear? It seems very similar

How does he know the giant killed her ?
Did he ever get with her in season 1? I don't remember her.
Hades told him
@@Spawned-uy8ipNo she wasnt mentioned as we saw seraphim only after he left her to kill his cousin
@@Ntantosthereal So, in other words she was just shoehorned in to give him some sob love story for season 2? The writers totally failed on this one.
@@Spawned-uy8ip I mean, the story in season 1 is very fast paced and it had to do more with factions rather than people ( gods-giants humans-demons), season 2 is much more personalized as to the consequences and it does make sense that she wasnt mentioned, especially since seraphim didnt know she was dead
Weak sauce. Shudda drug thst one out a bit longer
There was really no point in killing that guy. When he dies whatever torture he’ll receive in the underworld will be worse than seraphim could ever do and it’s for eternity.
If seraphim didn't kill him, then he wouldn't go to the underworld.
@@NadiaLeeTalbot Yes but the point of the matter being he had a head start to get the stone and now his lover is going to suffer in limbo over some petty revenge. If he really wanted to he could’ve come back later to kill the guy after his job was done.
