Yeah, absolutely. Just as I love the drum tones that Will produces. It's not your average run of the mill drum sound. He always manages to get really unique tones, but still punchy as fk and always suitable to the mix.
Thanks dude! From Wills presets, I think I like the "Dense and deep" kit the best. But a lot of them are good, it's dependable on what genre you use them with imo :) I used a preset in the cover video, but I can't remember which one at the moment, haha.
Johan Lund totally agree on the genre dependent preset concept. Just an idea, are you interested on a riff/song collaboration or something like that. It could be nice to play on the same track with you, but I have to admit that I have never did collaboration before ahah. Tell me what you think of it. If you’re not interested it’s ok , really. 😊

Please buddies, give the OH channel samples a listen! I mean, some samples have got humming noise when starting and during fade out, but the hat bleed in the OH mixer channel are really awful humming when starting (Original Mix of course). Espacially at lower velocities. I really love the Toontrack products but - I mean its a relatively new EZX! And I think, the instruments and mics sound great. But, I don't know...some recordings of the Toontrack portfolio have some noise. In a mix, I would guess, it's not a big deal. Especially in Metal. But behind my edrums... You hit a tom and ...OK, where is the beach I can hear the sound of the sea. Sorry, I may be exaggerating a bit but I am dissapointed. Could you hear what I mean? Ahhh ok, Mr. Putney cranked up the hihat bleed and then maybe the compressor, too. It's the HiHat bleed channel, I cross checked this within the SD3 mixer settings. The Toontrack presets are ok. If I lower the instrument bleed its better. But anyway guys: For composing a song ok, but for edrums ... it's quite annoying.

Exactly, it's mostly balancing how much of each drum you want from the kit, and maybe some clipping or limiting, and that's it! Quick, easy, and awesome sounding :)

So these are the regular presets as the load into your daw with just a limiter? No alteration in the mixer?
Yes, I just toggled through the different presets, nothing else was made to them.

just bought this kit, the presets are almost very good what i have tried yet... maybe the best ex drummer kit so far :)
