Can’t really go wrong with most things from there guys. Playing God, Ego Death, Goose, 40 Oz. They can do it live too. They recently published a full concert.
40 Oz might not be my favorite song, but it's definitely my favorite video.
Tim hensons unplugged guitar videos are awesome.
I love watching people experience Polyphia for the first time.
Playing God is an amazing track. You need to do that one. It's like jazz fusion over hip hop beats. Tim Henson is a modern guitar god. He is reinventing the instrument in the way guys like Tom Morello, Eddie Van Halen, or Jimi Hendrix did. He's amazing.

Tom Morello didn't do anything to "reinvent" guitar. He put his teeth on his guitar strings and plays with a fucking killswitch.
I can't state how much I want people to stop acting like Tom Morello is even comparable to EVH or Hendrix, the guy made sounds like he didn't even know how guitar was supposed to be played and suddenly he reinvented the fucking instrument.

There's so much good stuff from Polyphia that it's hard to pinpoint any one track but my favorites are Playing God, 40oz, Neurotica, Icronic and Ego Death (which has Steve Vai). The drummer, Clay Aeschliman, is my absolute favorite. He's insane

Polyphia actually uploaded an entire concert on their UA-cam channel like a month ago so if you're curious about what they sound like live with good audio quality then that's definitely the place to go as it's very up to date with how they are currently.
Love you enthusiasm and respect for the Skill and Talent! Only a select few have the ability to transcend..

Ya their style of music isn't what I'd listen to most of the time, but I still check out their tracks from time to time just to appreciate the interesting composition and high level skill on the instruments.
Watch Playing God... the official band video, but then immediately watch Tim Hensons unplugged playthough. Prepare to have your mind blown. I ordered one of his nylon string signature models as soon as they were available. Really cool guitar and wasn't priced too bad. They maintain their accuracy by using a click track so they can all keep in time. There's a video out here where the drummers click track went dead... he couldn't hear it in his earpiece... so his technician comes over and starts tapping his leg to the click so they can finish the set. Now THAT'S a dedicated tech!
By using a click track, they can have all their guitar effects triggered automatically. But they have to be dead-on to make it all work. Zero margin to screw up.
This is another awesome rabbit hole.

Some of the best new different music I’ve heard in a while. The drumming was so interesting too. Will definitely be checking them out. Reminded me a little of Domi and JD Beck meets maybe Zappa and Glass. But that may all be nonsense.

Great reaction dude! It’s great hearing a guy that really knows guitar is talking about these guys. You absolutely need to check out Tim Henson‘s Audacity play through. I’ve never seen anything like it maybe the greatest single guitar performance I have ever heard.

If u ever wanted to do any of their live stuff the best way would probably be the concert they posted on their main channel recently.
