It's one thing to see the old war footage from back then but seeing the same locations as they look today gives you a whole new perspective on what you saw from the older footage. I would love to see more of these before and after videos. They really add a lot to seeing the history and events of WW2.
Thank you for the comment 👍 glad you enjoyed watching the video, these videos take a really long time to make, and me making more depends on the video to d6 good, for now it looks UA-cam shadow banned it and people only complain about the video. So not looking good.
For someone that spends a lot of time in Belgium it is really nice to see what it actually looked like during the war. Many times as I drive or take walks I wonder who walked before me. Keep up the great work 👍
God bless you for sharing this with me and my family who was there and I have the ration books and my Grandfather's war Bible and army picture. He came back from where you are right after Patton liberated Bastogne wounded and worked at the Bantam Jeep factory and made torpedoes till the Japanese Surrender then Pullman Standard Railroad took over. He worked there until 1982 retired and passed away in Summer I was 14. Thanks again for your time and your work with this we enjoyed your video so much I appreciate your dedication of our nation joining the war against the Axis today after the US Congress declared war on 8/ December/ of 1941! God bless you all and I will pray that you and your families have a great Holiday Season and a Merry Christmas! So grateful to have this. Sharing, liking, already Subscription holder and I will show this at school with your permission please. Thanks again for your time, work, research and diligence on the video!⚡💥😊
Fascinating, I was in Normandy back on June 23 ,, planning on doing the Band of Brothers tour in the fall of 25 and visiting Belgium, where the Battle of the Bulge took place is part of the Package.
I drove around the Ardenne one May and it really impressed me how hard it is to navigate and find your way on those narrow winding roads. Tanks could go cross country but all the supply vehicles would have been forced to take narrow, muddy or snow covered tracks that wind and undulate through the hills and with many of the roadsigns removed, I'm amazed how the Germans could even get to their objectives back then.
Wonder if it is the same house redone with the 2 chimneys I can't tell with the street view but I will have to say great job finding the places and photography on private property can be tricky.
After law school I enlisten in the Army MP corp in 1990 and in 1991 I deployed to Germany for Reforger 1991 during the winter months. In some of the fields im Germany still bears the scars of world war II including bomb creators. The snow was nice and smooth and while advancing I ran across the field with my platoon leader watching me run I disappeared. I fell 7 feet into a wwii bomb creator. Needless to say, after 32 years later I still get asked if I remember that time I was there running across the field and the next moment I disappeared by my former LT
I live only about 10 km from Poteau. When the museum was still there, also the wooden shed in the field, where the big tree is been seen in the vid, was still there. My brother and i took a drive in a Czech halftrack, sdkfz251 lookalike. It costed €12 but it was worth it. The ride was on the field where the Jagdpanzer drove.
@@PanzerPicture they only painted it over several months ago. The museum was on the corner. Pitty that it is gone. The museum at Baugnez will close in January.
2 minutes in and realised you just found places in belgium that sort of resemble the stuff from the war. There are many better channels on yt that do this sort of footage. with maybe actual unchanged landmarks.

You aren't allowed to show bodies on UA-cam, it's as plain and simple as that and even if they would, I would not show these bodies, this is one of the worst footage reels out there, showing it would add nothing to the video, I personally can handle seeing bodies like this, but some people don't want to see that, which I can understand.
@@thundercheck3691 History channels are getting shadowbanned all over the place, this channel had many trouble with YT and people like this think only about themselves, adding the orginal footage changes nothing.

great footage, thank you so much for your effort. it would have been great thought if you'd filmed during winter, the same time of the year

That’s cool u found poteau ambush sight. I tried finding it. Or maybe I did n drove by it andidnt realize it was the spot.

When the museum was there, it was easier to find, because of the information at the museum.

How do you go about finding information about your father in World War II?
I wish you could label all the photos.
God Bless America.Really Courageous.
AUS DE TRAUM From The Dream? Wonder what he is talking about
So much different in color and no barbed wire fence.
Yes no snow either coldest on record in 1944
What's with all the negative waves in the comments.
I think I have a idea, I had a discussion with a extremely distributed person, which obviously had multiple accounts, arguing about clickbait.
Can still see fence posts
Why censoring ?
Because YT will destroy my channel.
Yes and how these images can repeat themselves in Europe again
Wow!!!!
Top video. Wel stom van youtube 😡
If things on video's are blurred out i am off bye bye 👋
And if I leave it like it is this channel is OFF shadowbanned and bye bye.
That Erie sound that Nazi tanks made
Those tanks are pretty cool but war is such a waste.. it is what it is🤔

Can watch anything if you show it because a banned channel is a dead channel.
blurring reality serves no purpose. Watched 30 seconds, down vote
Showing that wont do nothing for the video then get it deleted. 🤡
