Man this is a big dream of mine to be able to just use the city features to your advantage and ride, explore new places.
You need blades for that, it keeps the flow going, it gets you from A to B fast and smooth. You don't wanna be chasing wood after every crack. Thanks for understanding.

+James Gibson I am from Europe too and want at least spend two years in America. Few weeks NY, LA, just travel, have fun. But it's soooo expensive trip, like work four years for this dream tour. But one day, one day!!! :)

I could never street skate in NYC I always end up landing a trick wrong and next thing you know my boards in a street with like a hundred other cars, that would be so embarrassing.
OG Bobby Johnson Hey but still how do you think the best street skaters in the world became so big everyone has lost there board to a car or road sometime. Im still working on improving my skateboarding and hey its extremely frustrating that I still can't do an ollie haha. I will come to a curb get of my skateboard and WALK up it then get back on my board and keep going haha
Same here I can ollie, half cab both ways, Nosegrab, FS Shuvit, fakie FS shuvit, fs 180, and kickflip. But all the tricks I listed after the ollie are kinda low and sketchy looking all the kids at my high school are super good doing bigspins and tre flips during my P.E class,for me I just can progress I think my body isn't flexible enough for skateboarding. But of course I am riding a 1 year old board so maybe the pop is gone. I'm still hyped on street skating in NYC one day even if I suck.

They hit so many spots I used to walk by every day. Hits me right in the feels man, once the city's got a hold of you it won't let you go.

skateboard is one of the best thing that has ever been introduced to human being... it's just like a swing in jazz, love watching those guys flying around the city!
this video is the definition of skateboarding. skating all day through the streets wherever your board takes you, eating and chilling at random spots with the homies. that what its all about.

From a skating perspective California is the lucky place to be, half the spots just look sick however tend to be super sketchy.

The weekends are always crowded if you're planning on skating near time square. Skate in area where they just have little shops or they are just not known. There is a noodle shop right near Alvin Ailey dance studio in the Bronx you really can't miss it and it has nice spots around that area. But just skate whatever you find. Be safe and have fun.
