He didn't make me think 'holy shit I could never do that' like some other skaters do, not too steezy or robotic. I found this very refreshing and enjoyable, especially coming from one of the most influential skateboarders ever who is nearing old age. I hope Tony Hawk knows how much he means to nearly everyone involved with skateboarding, heavily or casually, he deserves all the praise and respect he gets because he's truly earned it through all he has done. Growing up, Tony was just a vert skater to me. I knew he could skate street but vert was his thing! Like how many vert tricks did he invent?! But seeing him literally shred the berrics street park was insane! That's how you know he is THE birdman. He completely shredded this street park. No I change my mind, he completley annihilated this street park! 51 years old and he is still KILLING IT. We were well over compensated for receiving this video. We NEED to give the berrics back something in exchange for melting our eyeballs with Tony's presence.

Yeah I started again in my mid twenties (now 30) but a word to the wise. I've fucked my back doing it pretty badly so if you do it... its not like riding a bike.... It feels like it. Don't just find a big set of stairs once your comfortable olliing again. I can assure you we do bounce less. Once I'm properly healed up Ill go back out and just skate ledges and flat ground. Which... other than stairs in what I loved anyone. No more big jumps for me :(
