Thanks Randy. A superb review of 5 different clubs: short, succinct, and to the point with no repetition. Please do more, especially of those clubs that other reviewers don't cover. Those C200 irons look very interesting! Not sure if they're available in the UK (yet).
Don't know if anybody's still coming back here to look at reviews for a potential used purchase, but if so, the lofts are significantly lower for the C and D series, so of course you're going to hit them farther. The 7i in the Cs and Ds is only one degree off the 6i in the V4 and Tour 100. With any iron, see how they do for you on the scoring shots around the green. It's amazing how many players buy irons without ever knowing this.
Thanks for reviewing the Wilson Staff irons. these are all great. I play the Wilson Staff M3 irons. Wilson are great irons. There FG Tour wedges are great too. The V4 they are played on tour.
i just bought the C200 irons after having genisis power bilt clubs i used to hit the power 7 iron 135 mtrs max i know hit the Wilson Staff 7 iron 160 mtrs on the fly and relativly straight if i miss hit it bloody unreal. i never ever thought id ever buy Wilson Staff but for quality and mid range price BOOM unreal Ps from AUSSIE
I've just bought the c200 s 2nd hand and got them really cheap I have to say there absolutely brilliant, they are replacing my Callaway xr steelheads, wish I'd have looked into wilson staff irons earlier.great review by the way 👍
I've used mine now for about 3 months. I absolutely love them. Best iron ever! I'm not exaggerating. I honestly feel this about these irons. I've played every brand, every type. I've played for 40 years now and am a 1 handicap. I know what I'm saying. I hope you love them too.
Great Review! I have hit the C200 and they are wonderful irons. I wish I could hit the forged clubs - like I did when I was younger and stronger but those days are gone.
Nice. Managed to review 5 irons, with data in less time than it takes some of my other favourite golfing you tubers to review 1. Keep up the great work.
nice video i got a set of used d200s for my first irons ever and love them definitely as you described great for game improvement plenty of height and length
Thanks for this review. You're right. Wilson Staff don't get enough love/attention/reviews. I got a chance to hit the Tour 100's just for fun. Man that's a pretty club with some great feel, but I don't have the game to back them. I'm thinking about going with the V4's vs possibly the Mizuno MP5 or MP25. Great channel. Keep up the good work!
I'm a 10 handicap and I play the v2 wilson's. Very, very good. I get the same distance I got with game improvement clubs, and I can work these when I need to.
Ya know.... It's funny You mentioned that the C200s went forever..... I picked up a 2nd hand set at the end of last year for dirt cheap..... $225 CAD.... got them to replace my 20ish year old Ping ISIs..... Even with the technology being 2 decades newer, and the lofts being stronger, I still don't hit them as far as I did my Pings..... In my experience, I'm quite surprised that at best for distance, it's a wash.
People need to start showing comparisons in their reviews. Compare these clubs to the Callaway irons or taylormade or the actual irons you choose to use in your own personal set.
Thanks so much man! Been waiting for someone to do these. I want to get custom fit this year and love Wilson. Looking at the F5s. Thanks for the info 👍🏻.
TOTALLY AGREE ONE OF THE BEST REVIEWS I have the fg3 set the fg4 and both are great have loved Wilson since the old days as the 3 and 4 are incredible for sure!!!!!!!the driver and three wood are great also got the 4 iron utility iron as long as a comp hybrid you all that think they are not as good as Taylor made ,Callaway I have 12 sets all ne these feel softer especially the 3s the 4 are also great getting either the 5 s or might try c200s ??great swing young man!! great review you do a great job love RICK SHEILS but he is all about his distance and he seems to push TAYLOR MDAE CALLAWAY ??? can you test balls that are new on the iron Byron ?? that would be great!!!!
Here in Australia you hardly ever see a Wilson club any more which is a shame because it used to be a big name as it was in tennis. Maybe if Jason Day or Adam Scott moved to Wilson we would see more Wilson "Down Under". The new graphics etc are a bit much though (call me old fashioned).
+Bob Pfaff Hi i just bought a set of C200 wow im a weekend hacker of 18 handicap and these little beauties are god damn amazing i paid $900 aus to be fitted and angle adjusted and i now hit a 7 iron 160 on the fly even with a miss hit and pretty straight they are good clubs i never ever thought id ever buy a set of Wilson Staff bloody love em yeah yeah
Great review - not often we youtube watchers see the Wilson Staff full range reviewed; thanks. Question: would one normally see high back spin for blades and lowering as one goes to down the range to distance irons?
sweet review, I think wilson doesn't get much of a look as people tend to overlook some great products they have on offer. I love those fg tour 100, amazing as 7-pw, probably too lethal in a lower loft. I thought it was interesting how your launch angles didn't change while spin rates dropped with the more game improvement heads. Really interested in the c200, how did wilson get approval for that iron? If ball speed is increased that much by those slots then how are they legal? Like your ball speed only increased 4 ml/h from the fg tour 100's to the c200. Is that a huge difference? The spin did drop about 500 rpm so stopping power was reduced but the c200 were 4 yards higher in the air. Randy, would a steeper descent angle counteract a reduced spin of 500 rpm? Love your videos, amazing g30 video, couldn't stop laughing. First time I saw a head to head of all wilson irons on youtube, awesome stuff
+Finbarr Buckley the slots around the face on the C200 are mostly to improve ball speed on off-center hits, so their C.O.R. is still within the legal limits provided by the USGA. General rule of thumb is 3 yards gained for every 1 MPH ball speed increase and considering I used the same shaft for all clubs that's a considerable difference. Typically a steeper angle of attach will create more spin, but no way of telling exactly how much without using a launch monitor. Thanks for questions!
+Alan Mills Players irons have smaller heads because typically better golfers like to work the ball and smaller head provide more spin and the ability to shape shots. Thanks for the question!
+Shot Shy Sheriff yup, my thoughts exactly. Forgiving or not (I'm still a beginner, I will gladly take all the forgiveness I can get), that sound would really put me off buying them. Platsticky, somehow.
Good review.. I game the F5's for gap to 7 iron and my old Ci 11 for 5&6.. every Wilson staff club I've ever hit has performed really well

I have a buddy who purchased the C200's last season. They sure improved his game and improved his confidence.
...I could give you a couple insults to throw his way... perhaps shake that confidence... let me know.
Nah many of us play in a large money game every weekend. We joke of course but I won't shake his confidence to ruin his game during that.
i just bought the C200 irons after having genisis power bilt clubs i used to hit the power 7 iron 135 mtrs max i know hit the Wilson Staff 7 iron 160 mtrs on the fly and relativly straight if i miss hit it bloody unreal. i never ever thought id ever buy Wilson Staff but for quality and mid range price BOOM unreal Ps from AUSSIE

I just purchased the C200s waiting for them to be delivered. Can't wait to see what they offer.

So far I absolutely love them. The ball flies off these things! I need to find a good driver, wood and hybrid to complete my set.
Great Review! I have hit the C200 and they are wonderful irons. I wish I could hit the forged clubs - like I did when I was younger and stronger but those days are gone.

Nice, a quote from Out Cold. You don't see many of those these days.
AtH_drum ...nice catch!

Keep up the great videos, looking forward to more!
Love the look of the fg tour 100, I am just not good enough to play it... yet..ever..
Thanks man, I'm considering picking up a set of c200
Great review nice to see someone reviewing Wilson Staff. How about a Lynx club review?

Got your self another subscriber.
+nolan ring appreciate it!
Great review. Thanks. Really interesting to see them all in direct comparison. Could you do the Wilson drivers as well?
I'll put it on my list!

Fantastic review as always. What's up with the weirdly awkward "salute" at the end? haha

well done review Randy - easy to understand!
wow, pretty consistent shots!
Thanks Juan!

+cootie787 Terrific - enjoy them - glad you got fitted for lie - so important.
Bridgestone iron and wood reviews as well please. Cheers
thank you for the review love all your reviews. could you do a player crossover review of like the f5, mizuno and cobra forged mb?
Great review - not often we youtube watchers see the Wilson Staff full range reviewed; thanks. Question: would one normally see high back spin for blades and lowering as one goes to down the range to distance irons?
+David Savage Thanks, yes typically blades will spin more giving you more workability.
Ace likes them blades. Whoop whoop
You completely missed a great opportunity on the FG 100’s
Could you please do a video on the Bridgestone J15 MB irons? Not many reviews on those clubs either, thanks.
I'll see if I can get a demo. Thanks for the suggestion.
Great job FEG! Randy, Did you use the same shaft in all irons?
+emac417 Yes, for each club I used a Dynamic Gold X100 at standard length. Thanks.

I'm currently playing the Nike vapor pro combo really don't like them How really good are the c200? I'm trying to go to a tweener iron.
do any tour players use wilson staff irons and if they do what type / model do they use
Great review! C200 look cool
Hi Randy, have you got your paws on the FG Tour V6 yet and have an opinion?
Looking for a new set of clubs, I currently use Calloway X20s and have a handicap of 22, not great I know, any irons you suggest out of these?
Thanks! Great job
great video!!👍
great review, you seem to hit a bit to the left (like me); what's your diagnosis on that?
I need to practice :)
Great! Thx
Hey randy, lovin the videos. Why do players iron have smaller heads?
+Alan Mills Players irons have smaller heads because typically better golfers like to work the ball and smaller head provide more spin and the ability to shape shots. Thanks for the question!
+Fried Eggs Golf there you go! Ty.
Well done. I learned something.
Unless the 7 irons are same loft , length and shaft pretty pointless review.
D200 sounds awful
