Bought the D200 last year by wilson staff, Love them ! have gone from a 36 handicap down to 18. Find them easy to strike the ball with. Forgiving good distance. Love them, these might be my next clubs maybe
I know this is an older post. But just got fitted for clubs and I was looking at these. I'm a mid handicapper, I can get these used in new condition for about $480 shipped. That's adding +1.5 inches & 1 degree upright with new Golf Pride MCC plus 4 grips. I cant try them out anywhere, so just seeing if I'll be good with these clubs. When I got fitted I was hitting my 7 iron on a rope as soon as he had me swing with a +2 inch shaft length. He said I was almost dead center not quite...told me to get my clubs +1.5 & 1 degree upright with stiff flex. Been using 2010 Adam's golf RPM3 irons with just +1 inch extensions, last 5 or 6 rounds been shooting 84/85 and that's with putting like crap.
The f5 irons are brilliant and one of the most underrated irons around. 1.5inch over is very long, you must be tall with short arms? Or just hit it in the toe. I don't like going too long because of swing weight and other factors.
@@AUSSIEGOLFREVIEWER yeah that's what the fitter said...6'4" shorter arms. Since they didn't have +1.5 extensions I hit a 7i with +2 extensions was hitting them on a rope, was not dead center but almost. He recommended +1.5 with 1 degree upright
I have these and I love them.. $50 cheaper per club than equivalent in Calloway or TM.. never gonna play blades at my age so these are the best club for me.. I got fit into these quarter inch long with standard lies..
Nice looking irons! Look very similar to my Cleveland 588TT's. Looking at the marks on the club head at the beginning of the vlog did I see a bit of a ball mark on the hosel, was that a shank? :-) I've been watching your vlogs for quite a while as I am a Brit who comes over to Oz occasionally to visit family (well, to play golf in good weather and good courses if the truth be told.!) it's good to see you playing and reviewing tracks that I might actually get to play on whilst I'm there. Keep up the great work.
Hey Alan, I'm visiting Oz this December/Jan, staying in Brisbane then the Sunshine Coast at Mooloolaba. Already sorted for Pacific at Carindale and Caloundra. Also, after seeing your review of Victoria Park I'm going to give it a go for some fun. Will also pay a visit to Golf Central as it looks a cool place and relatively close to where we are staying.
