  • In a recent vlog on her UA-cam channel, the 19-year-old shared the news of her clear MRI scan from her latest doctor's visit. Isabella Strahan, daughter of TV host and former NFL star Michael Strahan, has triumphed over brain cancer after a challenging journey.
She posted the update on July 18, chronicling her health battle over the past eight months. Diagnosed with medulloblastoma last October, she underwent treatment at North Carolina's Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center, including emergency surgery to remove a large tumor in her cerebellum, followed by radiation, chemotherapy, and three brain surgeries.
Medulloblastoma is the most common cancerous brain tumor in children, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Isabella's latest video titled "Goodbye Hospital" documented her final doctor's visit, where she received her conclusive MRI scans.
"It was a great scan ... everything is clear. Cancer-free and everything looks great. My next appointment isn't until October," she joyfully announced.
Reflecting on her hospital journey, she expressed gratitude to her medical team and discussed the challenges of chemotherapy, particularly after the removal of her neck and stomach ports.
Last month, Isabella marked her treatment's end by ringing the hospital bell, surrounded by loved ones.
Proud father Michael Strahan shared the special moment on Instagram, calling Isabella a true inspiration.
As she looks forward to resuming college life, Isabella thanked her supporters and promised updates on her upcoming milestones.
