Sounds like a fairly clean tone, although there's a definitely a compression pedal there. I think most of their tone is coming from the fingers and the bass itself.

@@ZodiacEntertainment2 I made a cover of this song a few months ago experimenting with modulation pedals, and I noticed he uses a phaser for that whirling effect. In the studio version this effect is even more notorious.
