- The Vampire Diaries 4x15 Stand By Me last scene. Stefan and Damon talks about Elena turning off her humanity. Elena burns her house and Jermey's body.
Watching that house burn, made me realise that a huge part of TVD was lost forever...

I love that Stefan was the only one who looked back. That house represented the Elena he loved. Damon fell in love with that Elena too, but the further removed from that house was the more he loved her.
I cried so hard when I watched this episode , I cry again now because I watch this. Jeremy died , the whole house burnt and every memory that happened in that house is now gone. But I cried even more when I saw how her diary burn in that flame. Every single moment of her life was wrote in that diary. She wrote how she felt when she was in love with Stefan , she wrote how she felt in difficult moments , she wrote how she felt when she became a vampire... Everything gone in that flame. That house was a big thing to TVD. :/ ♥

The most epic emotional break down in the history of television, this past was very symbolic, whether fans like it or not the old Elena "human" Elena is gone, even Elena says to Elijah it felt good to watch her house burn along with Jeremy's body and along with her old life, yes she comes to regret and miss her house but the house burning to me symbolizes that no matter what she or anyone else did old "human" Elena was gone and she had to rediscover herself
She found out her grandpa died just before this scene so the tears are real
I miss vampire diaries so much.. it was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster. Seemed like there was always something I was crying at. I loved me some Salvatore brothers.. I hate that it ended
There’s something so symbolic about this scene, a part of TVD burned as the house burned. It was a turning point for Elena who was no longer the weak human. On another hand I always found something so sad in Stefan turning and looking at the house as it burnt, almost like he knew it was the end of the Elena he knew or the normalcy he had been longing for.
When Stefan said " I wanted you to know" that I love you but Damon said I know Stefan. hits me, damn their bond man. the guitar in the background.
My favourite part was the end when she had both the Salvatores on her flanks
The show did so much symbolism this way. 3x14, she had both brothers on her arm symbolizing both of them becoming worthy competitors for her heart. In this scene, she's in the middle they're are on her sides, but she is clearly leading them. This symbolizes her going down a new path, and them following her (becoming more of a Katherine character). The whole show was kind of the Salvatores (her love / emotions for them) ushering her into adulthood (adult feelings/love, etc.). But burning down her childhood and losing the last relative that had a tie to her, she's taking full control (for better or worse) of her life.
Yeah. There's just something about that scene, where she walks away, each Salvatore flanking her... I don't know, but I love watching it, and it gives me chills each time.
It hit me the hardest, full blown tears, when the scene switches back inside to Jeremy laying there and the flames surrounding, the guitar gets louder right there, and I fell apart lol.
I legit started crying when I saw Jeremy burn in that house and I cried, even more, when they walked away from it knowing that they wouldn't ever go back to it because it would be in ashes.

It was real tears actually. Her grandpa died in a fire so when she had to act the scene out she felt real pain.

This episode is so sad, you all see Stefan looking back at the house, the stelena memories and all the happiness there. I love Stelena and Delena

It was this moment that made me realize that Katherine was the main villain of the story. Elena’s entire family is gone and Katherine “casually “ kills her only family member left. How could you literally watch and facilitate yourself go through the pain of losing your entire family all over again. That’s f***** up.
elijah mentions it later on tbh, tho rly the main villan is klaus since he did the same to katherine

i think stefan was gonna say that he loves damon. seeing elena break down over her brother made them vulnerable of each other.

When she said 'I won't' that was when her emotions were off!! What if when her emotions are turned back on? Oh boy, shes going to be hella angry with the Salvatores, I mean why did they let her?! Also, Bonnie didn't get to say bye to Jeremy...shes not going to be happy either. Anyho, I think thats not the last time we'll see Jeremy again.

That’s where all the good memories of him being with Elena and meeting Elena bloomed
He looks back because I believe he’s reminiscing in that and I always wondered after this moment if he knew that him and Damon being in her life was wrong.
I personally believed he realized how much in a sense it fucked up her life
The actors for Damon and Stefan always did say that the perfect finale would be the brothers dying for Elena and Elena living a happy human life.

I'm here looking for a video to describe how I feel. My flat burned down because of war and now I'm far away. It's occupied territory now. And I got messages from my friend that those people started to clean empty apartments, throwing out everything that was there (even if it was not broken) and etc. to make a kinda restoration and let strangers live there. I felt okay after flat burnt cause I thought that this will protect it from being invaded. And now there are strangers.
Now I get how birds feel and why they abandon invaded nest. If I ever be able to get home, my first urge will be to burn it down just like that. So there will be no stranger's smell and feeling. But I won't be able to do that cause it would place other people, who returned home, at risk.
So I came to take that part with Elena and match to explain it.

Such a heartwarming Defan scene 💗💗😊😊but it was heartbreaking when Elena burned her house down with her brothers dead body inside there's so many memories in that house but Elena turned her emotions off so she doesn't care about anything 😭😭💔💔

Seeing this episode makes me scared to watch what they are going to do with the season finally, The tvd writers must have some serous balls to kill Jeremy who was just stating to build more charters.
