But the more they tried to get her back the harder she fought to get deeper into not caring. Also no humanity doesnt mean emotionless just means doesnt care about the emotion. Caroline without her humanity was still controlling but also got mean when they tried to get her to switch it on. Elana lost everyone but was tired of crying. So her none caring emotion.was anger and spite. I think they still have emotions just dont care about emotions. Dont care about life. And if i lost everyone i know my love interest wouldnt bring me back. But another person i care about, dying would bring me back especially if my plan wasnt on killing them.
