in version 1.0 i did the following: draw a wire (polygon) in front of the object, make its copy and move it (change attachment) behind the object. in part workbench - select both wires, click wired surface. select the object, surface and use slice apart. this creates two separate slices which can be moved around, exported etc
Hi, how did you create the dovetail with the thick lines? the print i did had no tolerance because i made the dovetail thin, and i had to use sandpaper to get it to fit.
Frustration resolved!!!! THANK YOU! This has bugged me for quite a while now... but being a beginner and trying to figure it out myself has not worked out. Thanks again!
hi, thank you for the video, I have a question though, I have two intesecting cube in "part Design" and they are solids, how can slice the bigger cube with smaller, and have 3 separated cubes at the end? pay attention they are not in "part" workbench (but i have Realthunder's version)
I was expecting this software to be more straight forward. It seems like it is a bit convoluted and it takes some extra steps to do something that should be more obvious and easy to do.
Quick and direct-to-the-point video format appreciated! Thanks!
how do you made the planes .....

Have you got a video to show how you did the planes?
Thank you, bro. Was trying to figure out how to get the slices to be treated as separate objects/bodies.
Good to see this topic in a quick video. Many thanks 🙏

It's the GIMP syndrome.
UI designed by programmers or something
0.18 is out since march... should update ;-)
Your right, I'll update and my next videos will be in 0.18
Not well explained. Need to show how to make a dove tail from a plane.
Why do you have to have crap running in background. Hard enough to understand you yet get distracted by background noise!! 👎
