Thanks for another very clear tutorial, please keep them coming. I'm starting to understand how freecad works, but I can see I've still got a lot to learn.
Outstanding and thank you! For my project, this works far better than boolean operations, and Slice Apart permits me to delete the slices I don't need. Your video was very helpful, and appreciated.
Thankyou so much. This video has given me some insight on how to use this software. I'm new to all this, and was trying to figure out how to slice apart a 3d print object I downloaded online that was already finished, and had no idea how
Please don't use PartDesign features outside their Body - this creates "Link goes out of scope" errors. For the arc you should have used just a simple Sketcher WB sketch which is not part of a body. Nice tutorial :)
Well, has ben a while ago when i did that video. But i think, you shopuld be able to select each one , start part design and while it is selected , create a body, then it will be the "base feature" of that body and can be modified as you like.
It happens to me as well. However, if you wait for a little, it responds, and the task you where trying to preform is now completed. I have a three-year-old laptop, so maybe it takes a while for my laptop to figure it out.

Very nice video. Can a sliced part of a body be imported into an assembly view?

Thanks a lot

Thank you
I am using the link branch of realthunder and it crashes when I try to extrude a sketch from the part workbench. Any ideas?
Sorry , i never used that branch .. and the video is quite old..newer versions need a few other methods

super merci
The slice.0 and slice.1 parts can't be worked with much. Is it possible to convert them into parts so one can work with them again?

Thanks very practical, watchable at x1.75 or x2
I try to click on "create shape from mesh" the progam will always go to not responding. Does somebody knows why?
no..maybe ask in the Forum . be sure you have selected an object in the tree befoore you click create mesh.
It happens to me as well. However, if you wait for a little, it responds, and the task you where trying to preform is now completed. I have a three-year-old laptop, so maybe it takes a while for my laptop to figure it out.
Vielle Danke, ohne Ihre unterstuzung es wuerde ganz schwierig .
thanks m8!
