One of the greatest americans ever lived!!! I'm pushing 60 and have a few young men of 20ish years old working for me. When they don't do something right, i tell them " that ain't how john wayne would do it". Then i had to tell them who john wayne was. Lol. Any way they're a good bunch of boys. And now they know who john wayne was. And how he would have done it. It's called the right way. Y'all take care and stay safe.
@@TheMrPeteChannel I think they edited John Wayne into these ads from movie clips, considering he passed away in the 70s. Realistically, they could easily do the same nowadays, and make it look better. Although, that's just naïve optimism, commercials are so fucking gay and annoying nowadays.
This is a **travesty** . I love me some Duke Wayne movies. I'm a combat veteran and my 'patriot' credentials are in good order. But using a dead man's image to schill a modern product [for example, using Fred Astaire to sell vacuum cleaners, fer fuck's sakes] is not only a violation of an honored name, but it is also their less successful and less talented progeny trying to make one more buck off their dad while he's too dead to object. If Marion Morrison wanted to sell beer in his lifetime, that was his decision to make. And I honestly don't know if he ever did or not. But NOT, by-God, after he's been in his grave for 30 years.
Both. The face and dialogue were CGI, but the body was a stand in named Ermal Williamson. He's a John Wayne impersonator. I met him years ago, on Luke AFB, when I was stationed in Phoenix.
John Wayne was a movie star and patriot during the mid to late 20th century. He was so loved by the american people. More so than anyone else at the time, even more loved than FDR which he is way overrated. That even when he tried to enlisy under a different name at a different state which is highly illegal the government caught him and wouldnt let him enlist. His influence on american patriotism was so high that stalin himself ordered the assaination of john wayne. Which fialed misrably as 2 KGB hit squads were cauht by John Wayne and Company and set them up in a mock execution which scared the KGB hitmen so bad thay they switched sides. No he wasent great, he IS a LEGAND I could write a whole essay on why The Duke is a legand. I suggest you read up on him.
I love these commercials, but we all know aint no way John Wayne would EVER drink light beer.
Maybe for breakfast
@@leegraves101 In a bowl of Cheerios, haha

Idk he could drink a sangria cause who the hell would have the guts to give him shit for it
I'd never seen this commercial. Cool!
I miss John Wayne 😢 RIP DUKE !
John Wayne AND the Cartwrights! Throw in the Wild Bunch and you've completed the Trifecta of PERFECTA selling Coors to the pilgrims!
This is the first time I have seen this. Love it!😂

We need John Wayne today!
How far we have fallen since those days
We need these men back.

@@BurgertubeFounderLiterally gay. USA has gotten so feminized.
God Bless America 🇺🇸🤠
Amen to that.
Pretty sure that John Wayne, Dan Blocker and Lorne Green would not be drinking light beer, if theyd even drink beer at all
We need men to be more like John Wayne.
nah no thanks

Bloody hell, Mr Wayne must be spinning in his grave after this! :-s
In some dark bar, some far off city, a lonely man still sits at a bar all alone with his CL waiting for John Wayne to appear.
😢
This is just priceless
This was a very good green screen production... one of the earlier ones. Watch closely the next time... Miss the Duke...
Greatest beer commercial EVER!!!!
somewhere in the back of Chuck Norris's mind theres alittle voice "what would John Wayne do?"
Don’t mess with John Wayne.

You do pretty good with the Little guy, How are you when they come alot Bigger!!?
Coors Light is to Actual Beer as John Wayne is to Actual Military Service.
Duke has good movies and commercial
I think those two guys are going to have to change their attitude's real fast
They will get an attitude adjust. 👊
Its like drinking water😝 light beer for light weights😂
Is that Billy Bob Thornton?
He looks like John Wayne. How did they do that? A good stand in or good CGI?
Neither. They took clips from a movie of his, cut his image out of it to include the dialogue, and pasted it into the commercial footage.
Both. The face and dialogue were CGI, but the body was a stand in named Ermal Williamson. He's a John Wayne impersonator. I met him years ago, on Luke AFB, when I was stationed in Phoenix.
