The swagger of Jagger and the sex appeal of Morrison, with a better voice than either. Michael’s voice was so rich and thick, it masks how deceptively high he’s singing. When he sings “love, baby, love” at the end, that’s an A, but you would never know it. He completely fools the ear. I was fortunate enough to meet the band a couple times in the 90s. My favorite band of all time!
that's because he never goes into "head voice" his chest voice is flawless, and it never seems like he's straining or singing above his range. his range is incredible, but it's hard to tell since he has flawless head/mixed voice.
I have been to the concert of INXS in Ahoy Rotterdam three times! I was a real fan back then. So sad Michael passed away so very young. Will never forget the energy on stage of INXS.

At their absolute peak here! One of the biggest bands in the world during this tour! Witnessed them live in Adelaide (Aust) in the late 1980’s. Phenomenal! 💥

Thanks for commenting on a nice crowd, as i was lucky enough to be one of them, it was an amazing experience and the atmosphere was electric, id already seen then a couple of times before and one of those times was when they supported Queen in london 1986, they didn't go down with the Queen crowd unfortunately, but i was there for them.
I hated it when the lead singer unalived all those Jedi younglings. And then turned on Padme. The worst was when he got into it with Obi Wan by the lava. Sad. 😔
