The Motorized bicycle community is like 99% delusional in expectations of Chinese made engines lol! AVG speed they go well tuned! in a manner that will last! 35-38mph....Just common sense! can you get one to 50mph? sure at the cost of the whole engine and parts on the bike.
Going to explain MS460,MS660,Phantom85 how those all compair. 110cc kit, minarelli and AM6 2 stroke kit. The 80cc,49mm iron sleeve and yd100 and Ms380. Since all 3 groups share port timing with one another.
Don't know where people come up with these crazy ideas about a simple 2 stroke engine. Don't you all realize nothing you are doing is really doing anything to improve the engine you just bought lol? Other then a 1/4 wave chamber pipe you can't really do any major changes to the design. Just to say you did get these builds 100% perfect. porting and such! you realize you only gained like 5% more power that is almost not even measurable on a dyno.... One other thing (cleaning out ports) is not porting an engine. That is cleaning out ports. When you break out a wheel and change roof heights squish and adjust the port sizes and durations. That is porting.
Just drives me crazy when you see all crazy comments about how epople went so much faster on build over another. Or how a 56mm ms660 went faster then a Ms460... You realize they both top out at same RPMS lol neither is more then the other.... Speed wise! just one has more torque/power over the other! RPM is no different and is what translates into speed!
Phantom is no different or the minarelli or 110cc stock builds! they all do about the same and could hit 50mph yes! but at what cost and why.... You blew that engine in first 30 seconds whether you realized it or not! Every crank bearing now has a microscopic flat spot that will only get worse now.
Just saying treat you engines well! They will treat you well back! Half the stuff you hear is BS. This not a formula one car people! This is a chinese 2 stroke engine on a bicycle LOL Next time you see a fool like OPzilla or other clowns doing 75MPH on there 80cc kits remember that! • Op1 Zilla Says I LIE l... I have done a Methanol build • Completely Blown! C85 ... This what a fully modified YD100 engine should do compared to a 90cc minarelli! So it's all about knowing WTF you are doing lol!
