One day, I decided I wanted to see a ONI youtuber do a full playthrough. Cut to me finding your hard mode playthrough, which made me realize that Spaced Out! costed money. Glad you're doing well. Thanks for doing what you love.
i first found you through your steel speedrun. it's nice seeing you attempt another speed challenge. i might give this space challenge a try, since i haven't actually made it to space yet, and this would be the push i need.
That's..... a new one. Love it ❤ Could have been a nice scenario ending to have the rocket fail in orbit (abandon ship) as it was all just jumbled together to escape the planet blowing up, but this was great 😁 Looking forward to the next challenge run
Yet another awesome short! Love these! Especially the anxiety in your voice at the very end :) But I can't think of any other challenges to fit in a speed run. Maybe something like getting a frost burger by cycle 16? But that would depend a lot on the asteroid RNG, as you will need both sleet wheat and lettuce available on two starting asteroids.
Thank you for trying this @Echo and well done. It took me 28 cycles I think but I made sure there was oxylite in the rocket and food too I think. It was a while ago though.
And then actually make the asteroid explode and they have to land on another asteroid. It could be the prelude to the actual game maybe. “Escape the plant ASAP and colonise a new planet!”
I wonder if tripple Science dupes would makes this easier. They have faster learning capabilities and thus would be able to get the hard digging+ super hard quick enough to make up for their lack of speed
I sent my boys into orbit. And instead of landing, I abandoned ship (Which destroys it) and since all my dupes were onboard, she's game over. However, instead of shipping the game over screen as you would see if all your dupes had died on a planet, it actually sends a bug report screen. It's funny because a crash is literally what crashed the game. The text reads something to this effect "Thanks for helping us make the game better one crash at at time".
Nice speedrun, but its not a "challenge". With the goal you set yourself "get to space asap", you literally could not fail. If you would have needed 100 cycles, then you would still have "gotten to space as soon as (you think) its possible. Still was fun to watch, and that's the important thing. :D
For the next time - get the better digging from start, and use bridges so the line is already filled up to the start of the cold biome.
Nice idea with the bridges!

Thank you for the comment and for watching. Hopefully it will go on sale soon!
I like these mini-challenges very much. Thank you for making my lunch break today a little brighter :D
12:36 look at the little sleeping Echo, with his teddy, sooo cute. Nice fast run Echo
loved the idea! i knew it could be done fast but i'd never woudl've imagine that it would only take 16 cycles! very nice
Good morning Echo! I really enjoyed seeing another fun challenge, and I hope you continue to come up with more. Thanks for another great video!

Great idea, let us know how it goes!
@@EchoRidgeGamingsome say he forgot the oxygen, may he rest in peace 🥹
how’d it go??
That's..... a new one. Love it ❤

12:36 Sleeping Echo on the planet. Great challenge! I'll have to try it!

Frost burgers would take a long time! You need ovens too. Wow, this one would be a challenge for sure.
@@EchoRidgeGaming Right, ovens! Well, maybe get a crew of flatulent-only dupes? That will give you enough gas (hehe) to fuel the oven :)
Yay Kay! Looking all snazzy in the suit. This once we know that you made to space before the dreckos 😀
haha. Those darn speedy dreckos.
Wow that was fast! I didn’t know it was possible in such a short time. Well done!
Thank you for trying this @Echo and well done. It took me 28 cycles I think but I made sure there was oxylite in the rocket and food too I think. It was a while ago though.
Food and oxygen in the rocket is a good move! Nice job.
How Come the devs didn't think about This scénario???!!?!!!!! Such a good Idea!!
And then actually make the asteroid explode and they have to land on another asteroid. It could be the prelude to the actual game maybe. “Escape the plant ASAP and colonise a new planet!”
Scenario modes would be an awesome addition!
12:37 Dupe Echo sleeping on the asteroid, wait... WE LEFT ECHO BEHIND! ABORT MISSION! ABORT!
lol
I wonder if tripple Science dupes would makes this easier. They have faster learning capabilities and thus would be able to get the hard digging+ super hard quick enough to make up for their lack of speed
This is a good idea. I think next run I will def go with at least 2 science dupes, but I will def be looking for a dupe with hard digging off the rip.
Very interesting challenge. I know for sure I would have wasted time setting up a farm.
The greatest space launch in history

Karthora breathing space vacuum during the credits O.o
Very cool challenge, well done!
very interesting challenge!
Love this one off videos!
next time you do this challenge maybe do one that is like "successful 2 way trip.. (land on another asteroid bring something unique home?)
Great stuff. No excuse for taking hundreds of cycles in your main playthroughs now, right? ;)
Ha, that's right. It is also the benefit of doing these challenges, gives me more time in the week for the other series.
omg why was i so stressed watching this😂
Digging out my shaft is good for stress reduction
echo sleeping on the moon at 12.37
Nice!
nice run
8:45 condensing is the term you're looking for
made me think of the serie "the 100" :P
Impressive :D:D
What happened in 7:42 ?
I think with a few tweeks you could easily get sub 10
I like your optimism.
What about how many turns will it take to have a fully operational space station?
Dupes be zooming
I want more challenges please
fastest launch recorded is about cycle 47 :)
Why do you put 2 doors on top of each other
Quick and efficient method, allows airflow to pass through and less materials than 2 airflow tiles.
hardest challenge: try and help me with not killing my dupes even on the easiest difficulty :')
hilarious
Why do you put 2 doors instead of 2 walls and 1 door?
Depends on metal ore situation. 2 doors only costs 200 kg of ore. 2 walls and 1 door costs 200kg of raw mineral and 100 kg of ore.
Try doing this not in spaced out
Why do you use two doors over each other?
If you have the metal ore it is cheaper than air flow tiles and still allows gas to move around (unlike standard tiles).
@@EchoRidgeGaming ty
i got 14 cycles when i did it
Very nice! Great job.
What about a 1 dupe challenge to open the tear
This would def not be a 1 episode off challenge haha
Speed run
This was more like a slow run. So many things we could have done quicker :)
@@EchoRidgeGaming yes but as you said you did it as a dry run not knowing what to expect.
anyone knows what the name of the song during the endcard is?
When Johnny Comes Marching Home by Cooper Cannell
@@EchoRidgeGamingHuh, I always thought it was that old melody, 'The ants go marching', sort of fitting for a colony management game.
Echo try beat me great hall at cycle 5
