Maddie's biggest competitors were honestly Chloe, Sophia, Brynn and Kalani from the aldc. This Juliana or Talia or weren't as good. Abby could've actually made the competition between these aldc girls fierce yet healthy, and all of the girls would've grown as better dancers. Yet she created this toxic competition and downgraded the other girls, and made Maddie feel like she's the best dancer in the world.

@Zach Kabia nope the show is a fake reality tv show and it's scripted and heavily edited. Maddie doesn't actually always win the show doesn't care as much about dancing most of it is moms fighting and then they go to a competition.
My dance teacher met Maddie while this show was being filmed and she is not at all like how this show makes her seem. Also the whole show is almost completely scripted. My dance teacher said the producers tell them what to say.

@@danielamcconville14 there’s evidence the producers would script the show. Like telling them what to say, how to walk, what to wear. There was definitely times where the show scripted a scene.
