- Today I included 3 clips from Dance Moms Season 4 episodes 8 and 9! Take a look at the first time Mackenzie recorded her first song 'Girl Party'! Whats your favorite song from the Mack Z album?

Mackenzie is sensitive and I love that about her because I'm the same way. It started showing up even more as she got older on the show. She wasn't just crying or nervous because she was a little kid, she had a hard time when she was misunderstood. Mackenzie was a great dancer and singer but she struggled when put on the spot like when Abby came in during her singing lesson or when she needed to improv with dancing.
I feel from what I've seen lately that Mackenzie has a lot more confidence now and I'm happy about that because she really is special :)

In Mackenzies audition she didn’t wanna sing but now that’s all she wants to do
I so confused cause she has the recording as she sings it to Abby at the studio
It’s called a demo. An amateur recording of a song that’s going to be recorded professionally.
When singer is recording, encouraging and keep giving compliments is that they are supposed to do. But Abby is giving her too much pressure. Even she are already feeling scared about Abby. I feel sorry for her.
If they are an adult yes. But she's only 7 in this. It needs to be more instructional and authoritative.

Abby once said “I want her to be a star” years later a star is the building
As much as I disagree with alot of Abby's teaching methods I gotta give it to her, she does get the job done. I mean Mackenzie's music video would probably not have been as fun as it was if Abby wouldn't have motivated her in the studio.
Mackenzie actually really shone in that video with a lot of energy. The excessive autotune and cheap music production was the thing that let it down. I think she needed more tuition and more time for her voice to develop before jumping into a studio
She doesn't sound too bad but she's kinda muffled. It's like her singing in the car but embarrassed that people are listening

I do feel that Abby was correct, that Kenz needed some personality, but I don’t think that the way she explained it was getting the message through that well. When Abby left the room, Mackenzie looked crushed. But I think when the were actually recording it, when Abby explained how she was looking at the mic, and all of that, I think that was a really good piece of advice that Abby gave her, and in a nice way. And I was really happy for Mackenzie when she nailed it, not only to get the sing right and recorded, but in the show she had sort of a lack if confidence, and I think the when it just clicked, she proved to herself, and Abby that she is great at singing. I love this song, and Mackenzie was, and still is a great singer

I have found it scarier to sing in front of thousands than in a small room with just a few people. Thousands of people are faceless nobodies who are far away. Close up any mistake is more obvious and you can see their individual reactions.
