I have one, and you are correct. It's my first full size pickup. I wouldn't trade it for any other truck on the road except for maybe a newer version of the same truck. However I really like this style a lot
+Maxk99 My 2014 Titan was my first V8 ever, and I'm enamored with the sound. And it can hall a$$ too! I had to use mine for long-distance commuting at one point (gas mileage nightmare!), and I could punch this thing and race past cars when safety required that I do so.
Proud owner of a 2010 model. Recently had to pull my buddy out of the snow who owns a f250. The truck is always a beast and gets the job done. Mainly used my truck for fire fighting and first responding. Insane terrain out where I work. Titan.
Good choice. I got mine 3 months ago. It is my favorite truck. I see other nice trucks on the road and still would not trade mine for the other ones. Actually I think nissan was ahead of it's time when they made this truck because they had the same body style for 11 years and it still looks really cool. Mine is my first full size truck and I am so satisfied I think I'm going to stick with nissan in the future.
I love my 2015 Titan, The best part about it is that it is so simple. It is used for working, commuting, hunting, fishing etc. It is an awesome allarounder.
To me the mileage is worth it. I knew before I got it I was going to spend more money on gas. Honestly I would rather pay more to drive something I really like. It's not good fuel economy but if you do a lot of highway driving it is manageable. Also the other features cannot be denied. I only had it a few months and already hooked a flatbed trailer to it and used it to move with. It's a towing machine and a snow machine.
As the owner of a 2015 Titan Pro 4 X that I just got for a great price I appreciate this review. I am so happy with it. It's all I need or want and I love the looks as well.
What tires are you running? Im thinking of getting a 15' Titan P4X. I had a 2011 Frontier P4X and I ran Hankook Dynapro HTs and it was a beast in snow/ice,dirt, dry, and rain.
I love my 2010 pro4x. Ill never get rid of my beast.. What people fail to see is that the Titan was so ahead of his time when it came out that it was hard to improve something that already looked so sharp and beefy and the truck was so good that they didn't have to change a thing except MPG but then again what true V8 gets good MPG. Exactly!!
I bought my 2008.5 ProX4 brand new up here in Alaska. I work on the North slope (oil fields) so it sits for 2 weeks at a time. I have 37K miles on it LOL! I have done a lot to it, rims, audio, lighting, engine, etc.. It has been by far the most reliable truck I have ever owned. Someday I will have to say goodbye to it, maybe pickup an older Dodge 3/4 or 1 ton. nah... I love my Titan too much! I will say it was a hard decision to make when I was doing my research, it was SO close between the Tundra, Dodge 1/2 ton, and the Titan. I have no regrets!
He made a good point when he mentioned towing. If you are using it for a truck most of the time, all of the new turbo, and cylinder deactivation features that are designed to squeak out mpg no longer help towards mpg. They just raise the price and complexity of the vehicle. That's what makes these guys special. They do more than just compares specs and obvious features. Nice Job. Looked fun too.
I’ve owned 26 vehicles and by far my favorite was my 2011 Titan Off Road with 35” tires and a 2” lift. That thing towed like a beast and handled anything I threw at it. Only weak spot was it was 16mpg on a good day but most time it was about 13mpg. My fondest memory was pulling out a F150, GMC 1500 Sierra, and a 3500 DMax all stuck in the same spot. The DMax had a hole the size of a grapefruit through the Allison and would not move. The other two trucks tried to rescue it and both got stuck. The F150 had a plow and had slidden off the road and had a tree between the pow and the bumper requiring me to pull it sideways at first. They originally wanted me to bring my tractor down but I was not willing to drive it 7 miles in a blizzard. I showed up in the Titan and they all laughed at first calling it a “Ching Chong Chang Truck” but they all shut up quickly when I started yanking them out one by one!
I have an 06 titan. Right now sitting around 460000 km. Just replaced its first broken trans mount. And that's actually it's first real issue... I'm off-road regularly and I love pushing this truck to the limit! It's climbed hills steep enough that u can barely walk up. I've had it so deep in a mud hole that I had to take the sub out from under the seat to clean the muddy silt water out. (FYI it's got a 6" fabteck lift) so ya, it was deep.. and made er thru!I've got a heavy foot. So ya fuel Eco is not good... but it is fairly consistent even when pulling my 4000+ work trailer about 3 times a week. I love my T TAN. (The i fell off a long long time ago. So that's its name) I've been truck shopping a little bit and nothing out there feels right to me..
I own a 2011 SV crew cab, and I love it! Tows my 5000 lb travel trailer with ease, and sounds and performs like a muscle car, especially with the aftermarket cold air intake (Airaid MXP) I installed. LOTS of mods available for these trucks, and while they have some issues (manifolds, axle seals), name me a brand of truck that is problem free...
I had a 2012 Titan SV with a pro comp 6" lift and loved it. I now currently own a 15 Pro 4X and Im very happy with it. I have had it almost a year now with almost 10k miles on it and i cant complain. The guy talks about how simple things are on the interior and I have agree with him. I personally don't like how a lot of trucks have so much going on with instruments, lights, bells and whistles. But as I said, that is my opinion. I plan on keeping this truck until it dies.
Great vid! I bought my 2008 titan brand new and won't sell or trade it in. I'll keep it forever. This truck has been through so much and Is still one of our every day drivers. Over 200k miles and runs strong. Pulled out a stuck f250, dodge ram, and tundra in the dunes of pismo beach. This truck never got stuck. So easy to drive, park, and get out of sticky situations.
DJ12Ema Theres an 2010 with 157k miles near me for 14,500. I havent test driven it yet but you think its worth if its running fine and everything checks out ? Or should if I do decide to get it negotiate down to 12,5 or something?
I have a 2011 Pro4X, and it is definitely my favorite truck I have ever driven. It has tons of power, and great acceleration. It feels really maneuverable compared to other trucks in its class, and is nice for city driving. My only issue with it, is the fuel economy, which isn't ideal for city driving. The highway fuel economy isn't too bad. The truck does sound amazing, like everyone has said. I have a set of Cooper Discoverer ATW tires on it, and I don't think I'll ever get it stuck. Great truck.
I have a 2005 and I haven’t any problem since then ... I been pulling out chevys ,dodge specially fords stocked in mud , snow or even sand ... so Nissan trucks are awesome ...
I daily drive my 2010, still going strong. Added long tube headers, full exhaust and tuned…..it puts out as much or more power as the “modern” trucks. Upgraded the suspension (shocks, springs, control arms). It’s very capable. Very cheap in the used market now. Good, reliable trucks once you sort it out.
I actually like that it has enough creature comforts to make me happy but not loaded down with luxury crap. I'll be looking into one of these. If I wanted luxury, I'd buy a Luxo car, it's a truck, and also I can add all of my audiophile stereo equipment without having to spend a grand on adapters! Very dependable trucks. Just drove a new Canyon and got a big dose of sticker shock!
+James Trapp I couldn't agree more. We basically bought our 2014 model new as an almost-work truck: no power mirrors, no frills in the cab (not even the option to use the armrest as a storage area). We just got cruise control, the tow package, and mud guards. The console is so simple that it looks like something from the 1990s: just AC/heat, AM/FM stereo and CD player. It's old school, and I love it. I fear that American's have loved trucks to death, and we've ruined the wonderful feel of a manly work truck we knew in our youth. I'm not sure the 2016 Titan will have that same old-school feel, and I would encourage anyone who can do so to grab one of these 2015 models before they're all gone.
My mom got me this truck during my sophomore year when it came put and I never asked for a new truck I asked for a used one but I really love it it's pic us up speed and very nice and comfy to drive
I have a 2008 Nissan titan LE king cab. 260,000kms. Still going strong. I love it. I had a 2004 Titan se before this one, but it was vandalized and set on fire, so when shopping for a new truck, I wanted to go with the Titan again. I love the first gen look over the new ones.
Best truck ive ever owned for many reasons including reliability. Put a Borla dual in single out on it, and a set of good AT tires and shes a beast. Very easy to drive and feels like a truck. Light feeling for its size around town. Passes on the merge ramp on the hwy very well. Big plus. You can get great deals on new pro 4x models compared to other brands.I may buy a Ford again one day as still like them but till then... I love my Titan Pro 4X!!
Thank you for the review. I drive a 2010 frontier pro4x and it gets 18mpg on the highway. If the discounts are substantial a 2015 titan may end up in my garage.
I had a 2006 Titan, and it was the best truck I ever had. It even had factory navigation and a damped tailgate!!! Sure, the new trucks are like luxury vehicles inside, but do we really need all that crap that drives up the price? 2015 Titans are about $15,000 cheaper than most other trucks, and I'd rather have that money in my pocket. Titans get only 1-2 MPG worse than other V8 trucks, (this is my real world testing), and here in Canada with our cold winters, all trucks get terrible gas mileage. I think the smart thing to do would be to wait until the new one comes out, and then buy a left over 2014-15. The new one will no doubt have a lot of bugs to work out, since it their first redesign in 11 years.
They are great trucks for what they do. I own a 2004 4x4 SE and after working out some normal maintenance issues, it is great truck for its age. I live in the snow belt in Maine and it performs as well as my wife's Wrangler minus it being larger.
Hopefully in a couple years these will be affordable as a good used Truck! After watching it again I was surprised at how good it seemed to do in the snow.
I have done quite a bit to my 08 ProX4. It handles Alaskan winters like a DREAM! Oh wait, we have NO SNOW now. So, to go play, I got to go to higher elevations. this truck has NO problems in it. Also to lock the rear diff you need to be in 4LO.
My wife has an 04 Qx56 ..leather interior , navigation ,back up Camara ,headed Seats &even a manager ..this Suv it's pretty quick it's quick to response ,4 valves per cylinder not even some of the new trucks have this .
Seriously considering this my next pickup since the used market has some solid trucks in my price range. Currently drive a 1999 Ranger. So this would be a huge upgrade!
Nov. 2019.The sound is better when you put in dual exhaust. My 2011 has hooker aero chamber mufflers with down spouts just before the axle. Sounds awesome. But will change to M/T after these A/T's where out. One Awesome truck.👍
Have owned 2 titans.....2004 and still own my 2006 .."Sweet thing" as i call her...first one i loved, but they undersized the braking system.....chattered all the time.....they realized it so traded it in for a 2006....gotta get home to she mom and dad.....had her ever since....my wife made me but a name to her since we named all our vehicles.....shes seen her 8 point buck up and personnel even with her grill guard...guess she was hoping dad would get one....7,000 dollars later(and they didn't total her).she back with out family.....so love sweet thing...she's tried to take mom to work through 2 to 3 foot drifts..made it 4 miles and that was it for her.....she wanted us home....so turn around and sweet thing got us home
This is still a damn good truck after all these years and will hold up better in terms of value when compared to its American counterparts. Not so much a fan of the look of the Pro-4x but the fully loaded LE is quite a looker in my opinion.
Traded in my '10 SE CC (base'ish model) today for a '15 Pro-4X, with every option available. Loved my '10 from day one, not one issue after consistent on and off road beatings here in Colorado. I'm in love all over again witht the Pro-4X. More so seeing I got it for $15k below sitcker today. Bam!
+Dmgolfer22 Nissan created the Titan back in 2003. They have changed virtually nothing between then and 2015. So, in fact, the 2015 Titan is like a time machine to an earlier era when trucks were becoming more useful to families but weren't meant to cost more than a Mercedes. That V8 has barely changed in 12 years, and it's a great engine with plenty of power.
Nice truck, but I don't get why manufacturers don't put more aggressive tires on their off road packages, like BFG All terrain T/As or Toyo A/Ts. Leave the smooth, quiet highway ride to the other packages!
Wow, the truck market has really changed over the last 10-15 years. This truck is more equipped than anything that was available during that time period and it's not even close. While it's nice that automakers are always innovating and pushing the envelope with new drivetrains and interiors, I think the truck market needs to push the pause button for a little while. All of these electronic doodads, power this, automatic that, air powered this, are cool but are they really necessary? I mean REALLY necessary? All I need my truck to do is haul, tow, or run over anything I specifically need it to and preferably look and sound good while doing it. My ONLY complaint about the Titan would be the MPG, if it averaged 18 instead of 14 it would be damn near perfect in my opinion.
Is a truck at all really necessary? I mean REALLY necessary? Do you REALLY need to tow? I mean, REALLY? Or run over things? REALLY? I find these arguments tiresome. Refinements are a good thing. Features are a good thing. If you don't want them, opt out of them. If you can't opt out of them, don't press the buttons that make them do what they do.
dchawk81 Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes. I'm glad my arguments were tiresome enough to justify you responding. I never said features or refinements weren't a good thing, just that in my opinion, it's getting out of hand with every manufacturer trying to one up the other. A 10 speed transmission? power tailgates? twin turbos? 360 cameras? Why not use drone technology to make them remote control and we can operate them from our couches? In the video Nathan calls navigation, XM radio, adjustable pedals, and leather seats BASICS. My point is, there seems to be a lot of people who turn there nose up at anything that seems "outdated" or "basic" when in reality it's a perfectly, functional, reliable, do it all vehicle. But to each their own. "If you can't opt out don't push the buttons that make them do what they do." Yea okay, so I won't enter the vehicle, start the vehicle, select a gear in the transmission, use the 4WD system, or anything else that requires button pushing in new trucks. Riiiiiiight.
PhillipMicah I drive old crap so I'm not exactly "spoiled" in the luxury sense by today's standards but with prices being as high as they are today, I would NOT be happy if what I currently have is what I'd get for that money. If you could still get a car for $12,000 and wasn't a tin can, you might have a valid argument. But no. Prices are way too high to be happy with 10 year old features. Besides, people need reasons to buy new. Very few folks actually wear their cars out with that alone being justification. And when they do, they want better than they had. Is it wasteful on the part of some people? Sure. But that provides a healthy used market for us less financially endowed folks.
PhillipMicah As far as my button pushing comment, you obviously didn't comprehend that. What I meant was you can ignore any and all buttons and switches that do things or provide features you don't want.
dchawk81 The price of a tin can 10 years ago was less than now correct? So base price goes up so does every other option group as well, your spending more money no matter what options you get. So a car with 10 year old features will cost more now than a car with the same options 10 years ago correct? So you see how you can pay more for a car with 10 year old features today than you would have 10 years ago right? I don't think everyone is looking for better than they had. Most people would be happy with the same or less, maybe a slight upgrade. The only reason you need to buy new is that its new. I agree with this and am glad some people upgrade every year and eat all of the losses themselves.
for one thing everybody i own one of these, mines an 08. you can make the gas mileage better with a tune and a couple aftermarket parts. and for those who say but its a gas hog, well then i guess you want to drive a little ranger than, this truck is a mans truck plain and simple. i have never got stuck or had any problems out of my truck. so if you have not driven one or know about them please dont talk shit about them.
I have an '04, and it is a beast. Had it loaded down with 1,000# of gravel in the bed and pulling close to 8,000# on the trailer a couple weeks ago. Accelerated great, braked well, overall handled it well. But it is an older truck. The mileage sucked, the interior is definitely dated and the styling, although I still feel it looks current, isn't as edgy as it was when it was released. I do however like the size of it as it hasn't ballooned like all the other vehicles have recently. With all that said, when it comes time to replace mine, it probably wouldn't be with the '15 titan. Fuel economy being the number one reason why not. The 2.7 ecoboost would probably be my choice as I believe the Cummins powered Titan will be very expensive, oversized, and probably not get very impressive mpg #'s. I'll bet it'll pull anything though. The new truck market is heating up though with the ecodiesel, Cummins, the diesel Colorado/canyon right around the corner and the '15 F150 with its engine and body configurations. Looks like there will be something for everyone.
Brian Cooper I'm still waiting for Nissan to release details about the non-XD model Titans. I hope they use one of their 5.6L V8's, prefferably the VK56VD used in the Infinit QX80. I also wish Nissan would hurry up and show us a 2016 Armada; the anticipation is driving me insane.
He is right about the good visibility in this truck. I drive the newer Chevy and Dodge trucks on a regular basis, and visibility sucks on all their new stuff. The sad part is that the only reason they make it that way is to give the trucks the "look" they want. Stupid. Unfortunately, I'm afraid the new titan will also have that big square front end that you can't see around.
Really nice truck this Titan. Always, always choose function over form and come on if you want fuel economy don't buy vehicle that weight more than 2 tons. Physics... Physics!!!
Ive been searching for a vid on the titan that shows it towing and giving mileage for towing. Anybody have any experience with this? Say mpg's towing about 6000 pounds?
Have a 2004 LE CC and bought new. It is the worst year made and far from perfect BUT it still drives better than the F150 I tested. Why? It is much more manoeuvrable and feels smaller than the others. It also has a more compliant suspension. The downside is the payload and fuel economy. There are serious flaws as well. The pre 06 models have brakes that are too small and they warp. Easy fix though with a cheap power Stop brake kit for ~$325. The Pre 06 door locks freeze. Can be fixed but 400+ in parts not including labor. I use silicone as an annual bandaid. Early front diffs had a problem where the circlips holding the axles in pop off. $2k replacement. Rear axle seals leak and off-road package + tow package = bad rear diff. Headers are known to crack. Heat controls in dash can brake requiring a big disassembly for what equates to a servo gear. New models 08+ are better but still have some of these problems. Even so, all can be fixed/upgraded and you are still spending far less than a new truck. Get one a few years old for half price or less.
+David Grey I work at a dealership and asked around, our best tech drives an 06 titan, my manager drives an 09 titan, I bought one and the he did some of his fixes to solve the typical problems. Total was like $150 including a brand new engine belt.
It's better looking. I dont know the other vehicle what their stats are. This truck looks better than both them trucks including the newer dodge. The new trucks have been over styled. The nissan is the only company who hasnt over styled the panels on their trucks.
Looks like it get's the job done though. If I was in the market for a 2015 I'd probably check it out! On a side note it looks like pretty country their but cold. I don't like being cold. Lately Kentucky has been alot colder than I like.
Its still a bad ass truck! I actually like it more than the new 2016 exterior wise because from the back and sides it looks like the ford f150 combined with the dodge ram I only like the front of the new 2016 nissan titan I rather have the 2015
Can you guys do the new chevy silverado hardcore off road? Never see the silverado being filmed this way. Would love to see it...since im a chevy fan. :)
Over a period of 10 plus years Nissan never addressed the drivetrain issues and fluid leaks. I used to have one and drove it extensively, so I know -- Titans have questionable reliability as the miles climb.
I disagree. I think you had a fluke of a bad experience with yours. Most of the titan owners I have talked to and read their responses say this is a really reliable truck. One guy said he had almost 300k on his and only put a transmission mount on it. I have yet to find a whole lot of people complaining about these vehicles. I consider a nissan a very reliable vehicle.
hey guys can u do a review on the 2011 suburban there are 2 types of 4x4 options one with low gears like the z71 one with just hi 4x4 the LT so it would be better gas I would love to see how they both do in comparison on snow or off road I understand one has better shoes and both have the rear lockers can I do a review on them thanks
Makes me laugh when people call it old. The NEWEST vehicle I own is a 12 year old FJ Cruiser (it's a 2007 model). Prices these days are insane for new cars and trucks. Nobody makes a decent entry-level 4x4 anymore. Used to be the CJs/Wranglers were the entry point. But at almost $40k new (at least near me), there's no way in hell I would ever pay that...and I CAN. Came here today because I'm investigating the purchase of a 2012 Titan (135K miles). That'll be the newest car I've purchased in almost 30 years (newest meaning "within 10 years of its release/model year"). The ONLY new car I ever bought was a 91 Chevy Silverado Stepside Z71. It was nice, but not practical for a growing family at the time. Now I'm looking for a comfy long-distance driver that can also haul rocks, firewood, mulch etc. and clean up nicely for a trip on the town. This really seems to fit the bill...just gotta see if the wife can handle driving it too.
I'm in the same boat, have a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder with 296,969 miles and an assortment of aftermarket parts for off-roading, But I'm looking at a 2015 Titan SL 4x4 with 112,000 and loaded with 1 owner. Please let me know how it works out if you end up getting the titan
At first I didnt like the huge nose one thing I noticed tho about the newer titans is they have not completely over styled the quarter panels and fenders like the other big three auto makers have done to their new trucks. I still like the titan
These trucks are awesome... anyone who has one or has had one will agree I am sure. Solid, powerful and fun... Nissan is good at that.
Shane Horvath ohhhh yeaaah
I have one, and you are correct. It's my first full size pickup. I wouldn't trade it for any other truck on the road except for maybe a newer version of the same truck. However I really like this style a lot
100% i live my 10 pro4x
371k still drives like new .amazing truck
Lol ford rangers are better
Man that v8 sounds amazing.
Yah,it kinda sounds like an old school muscle car
+Maxk99 My 2014 Titan was my first V8 ever, and I'm enamored with the sound. And it can hall a$$ too! I had to use mine for long-distance commuting at one point (gas mileage nightmare!), and I could punch this thing and race past cars when safety required that I do so.

Just traded my ford ecoboost FX4 in on one... Titan PRO4X with pro comp 6" lift... What a deadly truck!! I love it!
good freaking trade man 👍👍
Good choice. I got mine 3 months ago. It is my favorite truck. I see other nice trucks on the road and still would not trade mine for the other ones. is milage really bad??? iam looking into one, trow a 2 inch lift and use it as a camping rig. let me know thanks
To me the mileage is worth it. I knew before I got it I was going to spend more money on gas. Honestly I would rather pay more to drive something I really like. It's not good fuel economy but if you do a lot of highway driving it is manageable. Also the other features cannot be denied. As the owner of a 2015 Titan Pro 4 X that I just got for a great price I appreciate this review. I am so happy with it. It's all I need or want and I love the looks as well.
+Jack Peters Same here, two weeks ago.

Great truck. I have it since 2010 pro-4x. No problems

I have to admit, that baby sounds amazing for a stock exhaust! My Tundra sounds good but the Titan is almost NASCAR Truck comparatively sound wise.

Update. Picked up a 2017 Titan Pro 4x pretty happy with it.
I have a 2013 pro-4x and I live and florida.
I have never driven in snow, thank you for posting this video - Perspective!
I miss my old 2004 titan... I drove from Alaska to Florida... truck had 160k miles and I had 0 problems... excellent truck
DJ12Ema Theres an 2010 with 157k miles near me for 14,500. I havent test driven it yet but you think its worth if its running fine and everything checks out ? Or should if I do decide to get it negotiate down to 12,5 or something?
lee155912000 I can sell u mine
Owning this truck has been a dream…love it!! Nice review Nathan!!
I have this exact truck, color and all. Recently put a banks monster catback on her. Absolutely love the truck.
Elmer Fudd sad is 5.0 is the last V8 standing in the F150 they should add the 6.2 as an option as well
A truck that kept it simple, wish I could afford one.
Since its been around a while it has great aftermarket support also. ie lifts, bumpers, etc
It might be an old truck, but its still a good one. Great video by the way.
Man I love that truck
They are great trucks for what they do. I own a 2004 4x4 SE and after working out some normal maintenance issues, it is great truck for its age. I live in the snow belt in Maine and it performs as well as my wife's Wrangler minus it being larger.
The power is not bad but is crying for a new transmission besides that the Titan makes I think the best sound
Truck guys, and gals, love a good old truck.....and you just tested one.
You know am gonna miss this Titan. Why? It's the first truck that stood the test of time. And still has a good reason's to buy
Hopefully in a couple years these will be affordable as a good used Truck! After watching it again I was surprised at how good it seemed to do in the snow.
OH my gosh the exhaust sounds scary that badass
I had a 2004 titan had a 2006 titan now i have a 2010 nissan titan 4x4 n i love it
He keeps saying this is a old truck??
It is still 2015 right??
Yes but it's unchanged for 10 years.
No need to change perfection
HighwaySixtyfour Obvious troll is obvious.
I have done quite a bit to my 08 ProX4. It handles Alaskan winters like a DREAM! Oh wait, we have NO SNOW now. So, to go play, I got to go to higher elevations. this truck has NO problems in it. Also to lock the rear diff you need to be in 4LO.
So I'm a troll for stating that Nissan doesn't find the need to put a bunch of unnecessary crap on their vehicles ? lol
proud owner of a 2015 nissan titan and loves it
Great truck. I'm impressed with it.
Not so much a fan of the look of the Pro-4x but the fully loaded LE is quite a looker in my opinion.
ssjMaximum22Goku, this truck is made in America. Maybe not designed but definelty made. The new truck is designed and made in America.
Love, Love, Love my fully loaded 4wd 2004 titan LE Crew cab.
Bam!
+Cj Carr Colorado. Most dealers here are at $6k-15k off on '15's.
Great Music to these off-road scenes!
I like the Nissan Titan I always have it's a great truck my friend just got a Pro 4 X for around 26,000$ and for that money he got a hell of a deal.
I'm still in my 2012 Titan and not planning on upgrading any time soon. Might redo the suspension in another 30,000 miles or so though
TacoHorse I have 2010 pro4x and the truck gave me lot of problem after I pass the 35k miles , I will never buy Nissan again
Once again another fluke. I seen hundreds of reviews of titan owners only a couple of people complaining about them.
He talked as if this truck was a 2005. 2015? It's still 2015
+Dmgolfer22 Nissan created the Titan back in 2003.
I love these trucks. they look like a truck should look. But it's time for a change. Out with the old, in with the new.
Nice truck, but I don't get why manufacturers don't put more aggressive tires on their off road packages, like BFG All terrain T/As or Toyo A/Ts. Leave the smooth, quiet highway ride to the other packages!
+matt4270 They might get a discount with a specific tire manufacturer and get a lower end tire very cheap?
What after market products you can buy to help gas mileage?
@@musicalengineer4355 cold air intake, upgraded exhaust system
I also wish Nissan would hurry up and show us a 2016 Armada; the anticipation is driving me insane.
no.. its outdated because the 04 design was ahead of its time and when that happens, you max out with future designs quick..
Great review, by the way.
snow fall in background on 1:50
He is right about the good visibility in this truck. I drive the newer Chevy and Dodge trucks on a regular basis, and visibility sucks on all their new stuff. The sad part is that the only reason they make it that way is to give the trucks the "look" they want. Stupid. Unfortunately, I'm afraid the new titan will also have that big square front end that you can't see around.
this TITAN power V-8 great engine
These trucks are badass
Haha, careful there Nathan! Great review and vid!
Bring the snow to the kids in the neighborhood they will love it.
I like the blue
Really nice truck this Titan.
Always, always choose function over form and come on if you want fuel economy don't buy vehicle that weight more than 2 tons.
Physics... Physics!!!
I'm buying a used one because it's going cheap. It did great on the Ike for being ten years old and honestly I like simple.
Ive been searching for a vid on the titan that shows it towing and giving mileage for towing. Anybody have any experience with this? Say mpg's towing about 6000 pounds?
How are the 4x4 versions of this year Titan that aren't a Pro 4x4 version? Is the SV 4x4 any good?
How about the 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 off road?
I'm about to test drive a 2013 tomorrow
how was it lol
@@Angelgg99 it was nice! But it didn't meet my payments budget
Two close calls for you Nathan 0:17 and 10:13. Awesome review though! Keeping it real...
I'd take it over a tundra that's for sure. I'd love to test one out and compare it to my 2015 big horn
Ram all day
Dude I just bought an 06 titan because I don't have the money for a new or even a 2015. So to me your 2015 is like new
How does this truck compare to say, an F150 FX4 or Ram Rebel off-road? Thanks!
I HAVE ONE AND IM FEEPING IT I LOV IT THANK
Dream truck.
Still a great truck. I'm thinking 2017 is going to be a great year to buy an older Titan.
Lol! Nathan this is not deep snow...Come to Prince George, British Columbia, Canada for a snow test ride with me in my Nissan Pathfinder 2008.
328k and counting on my 05
My coworker has one with 275k, a friend has one with over 300k. Mine only has 40k...nissan trucks are so underrated!
hey guys can u do a review on the 2011 suburban there are 2 types of 4x4 options one with low gears like the z71 one with just hi 4x4 the LT so it would be better gas I would love to see how they both do in comparison on snow or off road I understand one has better shoes and both have the rear lockers can I do a review on them thanks
I'm in the same boat, have a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder with 296,969 miles and an assortment of aftermarket parts for off-roading,
But I'm looking at a 2015 Titan SL 4x4 with 112,000 and loaded with 1 owner.
Please let me know how it works out if you end up getting the titan
I loathe the new design, looks too much like a Chevy or Ford, which is why I liked the Titan in the first place, it looked different!
At first I didnt like the huge nose one thing I noticed tho about the newer titans is they have not completely over styled the quarter panels and fenders like the other big three auto makers have done to their new trucks. I still like the titan
Nathan isn't it cold there? Or do you just not need a jacket?
I pulled a Isuzu nqr out of the mud full with tree trunks in the back with no problem no I now these truck have lots of power for a small truck
come and film in banff alberta guys
Your so speedy, and clever, Nathan.
#Marionbarry
I can't believe how expensive trucks are. It's a f---ing truck for christ sakes!
It's because of market demand right now; everyone needs a truck to use.
How is it really that old
My dad has a 2010 nissan it's a best
any one know the deference of Nissan titan and Nissan titan warrior.
One exists and the other is just a concept. Supposedly coming out maybe next year
