Good video. Crewing 3 ships is why I loathe to do solo armadas. Once crewed they're easy to run, but between PvP, PvE, and now all the new grind ships/crews, there's just not enough preset crew slots to efficiently prep for solo runs, PLUS everything else I have to do daily to try and keep up.

If you're ever choosing to run greed crews on solo madas - it's important to know that the bonus loot you get from any given officer or ship is based on the power of the ship relative to the rest of the ships in the mada. so for example if you have 3 evenly powered ships and one ship is giving 100% bonus loot, and the others aren't giving any bonus loot, you're only getting 33.3% bonus loot.
Whereas if the loot crew ship is twice as big as the other two ships, you'd get 50% loot. You can even drop a ship from the mada and only use two ships - and you'd get 66% bonus loot (in the situation that the loot ship is 2x bigger than the 2nd ship)
So you want to run loot on all? Say ent e crew in one. Borg jayla in one, and geordi in the last one?
My setup for solos:
Kelvin: Sisko, Miles, Gorkon, underdeck: Odo, Doctor
Defiant / Talios: 5,6, Khan
Enterprise: Chakotay, Janeway, Beverly, underdeck: Paris, Kim
Easily can do 46-47-48 solos. Without Burrito/Titan boost, without exocomps.
And when you understand what is need - you can modify the crewing according to what you have available. I was able to help guys from my alliance in beating their first solos just by setting them up with crews they have and matching them to their ships.
I just used this setup on my Ent, Sally, Voyager... I was able to punch up to a lvl 40 uncommon. Ops 36. Thanks!
I agree with the priorities on mitigation and crits but after that extra shots are very helpful such as Miles and Chakotay crews.
Rev, I believe you can source Sisco ( though a little slowly) through the recruitment chest in the Bajoran faction store even in the 30’s
For Apex Thursday, running Beverly as Captain, max Khan, and Georgiou for burning works quite well! Anyone who has Battleship Emergency Protocol will greatly benefit from the Burning 😎👍
Greets, Rev. Thanks for the tips. From my alliance's tip, I go Cisco/Miles/Lorca then 5/6/Kahn, then Picard, Beverly and Eurydice for my Solo armadas with Titan fortifying.

For lower levels, if you're struggling to get a 3rd ship to survive, go for maximum survivability by using something like sisko(or any mitigation officer, but i have sisko so i use him)/kirk/spock on your 3rd crew. Mitigation + regen equals survival.
Good reminders and some great crew suggestions Rev. One crew that I've been using a lot on my Ent, is Kirk, Jadzia, and Bashir. Crew became a lot easier to source if you've been playing the last 3 months with the gift chests they did with the full unlock of Jadzia in it.
I love Picard - Bev - Miles for Armadas, including solos. Lots of extra shots leads to lots of extra damage....

I use three loot crews on my solo armadas. Ent E Picard + 2 // 5, 6, Khan // La Forge, blue Bev, Eurydice (or Gorkon)
and the doctor below
I find a Jordi loot crew on my 3rd ship gives me good value for effort. Cost me a bit more trit, but I can do mostly triple pulls (Ops 49 so I have good ships and crews)
I didn't realize you could use Chakotay against solos. Great to know
I like running max loot crews that way i run a bunch at one time and i dont have to run any for awhile

I focus on damage maximization so Ash Tyler is a must, I'd recommend Jadzia, but it she is only applicable on solo armadas and she is an epic whose shards are rarely up for offer. As long as you have burning, Tyler's ability works regardless of solo armada, group armada, hostile, mission boss or PvP and remains relevant until the G5 rare ships. He is the best investment for low level players, and who doesn't love throwing a battle log into spocksclub and seeing your Voyager being the top damage dealer over the armada and G5 players
Save your rare/epic solo armadas for the weekend spend events. Also if you can beat your solo armadas routinely, have Geordi/Bev/Worf as one of your armada crews and 5/6/Khan in another for bonus loot.
If you can, then go higher level for increased payout
Another one, if you have the power to use it, is Franklin A with Jaylah as Captain for double rewards.
Also E Picard is apparently a loot officer from what I have been told.
Would like to hear about punching down and using a loot crew like max synergy LeForge or Jayla on a Franklin to maximize loot gain. I’ve found I can punch down with these crews, get as much or more loot, and save some hulls versus hitting as high as possible.

My main armada crew is Chakotay/Seven/Doctor, with Hemmer below to add to Health. I’ve tried it with Janeway instead of Doctor, but I take a lot more damage.
You could do better using Picard, Bev, Lorca. It guarantees hull breach every round even with a T1 Lorca. The crit builds on your other 2 ships will benefit a lot more from it.
Dax at tier 3 seems underwhelming to me sadly. But I'm not giving up on her. Newton to tier 11. That adds an officer

why no love for Jadzia Dax as the captain for dominion solos? I ran her with Bashir and Sisko on the sides
Don't see point having 2 crit chance officers ie. Sisko and Bashir together.
Sisko provides both mitigation and crit chance, so usually, run sisko miles lorca/gorkon on 2nd ship,
And primary power gets 5,6,khan/chakotay.
3rd ship is either loot. Rew with geordi captain, gg/Nero plus mitigation,
Or card bev eurydice if running defiant
For solo's I usually use a crew with Dax as a captain and Kira. Also, on my voyager Armada crew, I run the Dr. instead of Torres. I have Torres, is she a better choice than the Dr? Also I usually Sisco, Myles, and Changeling Kira as an Armada set to get the synergy.. I got lucky enough in the early 30's when they came out to be able to source them all. I save my stuff and go after officers I think are going to help me. Those Armada officers have helped me greatly and I'm still not a 40.
What about a loot crew? What about including the Defiant to get the edict loot boost?

Also important advice: don't let the special ship USS Defiant stop you. Like almost every special ship, Scopely limits how far you can upgrade it, which is very frustrating and deprives you of opportunities to grow freely in the solo armadas. I do it solo armada’s often with 3 fraction ships (pilum - valdore - kelvin). When I need the extra loot from the USS Defiant, I replace the kelvin. You getting more rewards when you grow freely. I have always enough and almost max the most rewards in the store.. the USS Defiant is just a frustrating ship that takes your own way away…
But it's super important for getting edicts which really help your economy in 4*
@@RevDeuce I don’t say it’s not important: all the special ships are irritating me because of the fact 1: warp range 2: level lock 3: no fraction tech boosting your special ships 4: not enough docks
@@RevDeuce more irritating: most special ships cannot be used outside their loop, or like the Borg Cube the warp range.. only good special is the Talios
I think you didnt mention the best crew out there for the Enterprise: Janeway + Chakotay + Kirk and Paris BD

I usually run solo armadas during the time between arcs. Are there any loot crews for solo armadas?
Not one but twoooooo keys to running solos.
Might be the only person i see with bashir in solo armadas. Id rather have lorca in there.

Question: If you have a Solo crew and the officer and captain ability require a mix of either Health, Defense or Attack, how do you determine what to stack for? If you have limited slots it is difficult to stack for multiple. On 5 6 K, for example, do I stack health or attack?
Depends on the ability, and if you wanna get super mathy, the mitigation/piercing stats of the armada you're fighting. Generally though you wanna focus on your own mitigation first. So in the 5-6-K example, you'd do health.
@@RevDeuce That helps. I just used that crew as an example. So basically, in any crew I want to put together if it needs mixed stats I should do my mitigation 1st.

It is available from the start now. Some officers have had the Captain's ability replaced with a lower decks option. As you level and tier your ships more slots become available. Up to 8 officers below deck.

Bullshit, the "30's" as you call us don't have access to to max crew that you have.
I'm 35 and can do 4 dominion SA back to back and can comfortably kill the lowest borg BSA , with only 2 of the crews he showed at tier 1. It took me a while to get strong enough. Def not doable right at 35 but it's def possible with preparation

Did you actually listen to what he said... Cos I'm pretty sure he repeated that you might not have the crews quite a few times? 🙈 Hence he teaches you the concept so you can create something similar from what you do have 🤷
@@sparhan exactly my point , he has all maxed crews. How do we compete with that? We can't.
@@pelawpete it's not about competing though, he's showing the different ideas behind the setups. I'm ops 42 and don't have all the crews either, but by experimenting and planning crews around mitigation and crits while getting hull breach I have been able to hit way above where I thought I would. But no point getting annoyed at his crews, he's trying to teach you the idea behind them so you can replicate it with officers you do have.
What about loot? Inthink they dont stack across ships. Just geordi? No ent E or borg jaylah?
