I've always loved Neil Diamonds voice infact I used to play the sterio very loud...and my four kiddies grew up cutting their teeth and growing up with Neill. I had all his LP's and CD's. Wonderful singer Neil ❤
I love Neil Diamond one of my favourite singers since the 1960s, especially the earlly Neil Diamond, maybe he was the mold for the singer songwriter, but he was also a great performer. His introverted side made him a great song writer and a survivor, and he is still around just retired due to Parkinsons.

That's right. His delivery of a song is what made them sound so good. A technically great voice wouldn't have the emotion his voice had. He sounded like he meant what he was singing and he said one time he had a hard time singing a song he didn't feel or write. It's hard for new artist to understand that.
