  • Learn about the revolutionary Lapiplasty 3D bunion correction surgery: recovery, success rate, and what set this bunion surgery apart from the others.
    The Lapiplasty procedure addresses all three dimensions of the bunion by rotating the entire affected metatarsal bone back into normal alignment and securing it.
    Our surgeons further advance the Lapiplasty procedure with the addition of regenerative medicines that promote bone healing, speed up recovery and reduce internal scar tissue and stiffness.

    I had my surgery on 21st Sept, surgery lasted 2 hours and I walked home alone with a little help of crutches. I can work after 6 weeks.

    Can anyone that’s had this procedure comment their recovery time and experience? Oh and also how has your range of motion been since you’ve had it done?
    I’m in the research phase before I schedule my surgery and I do better with more information. Please help a girl out! TIA 😊

    My foot is normal again but the recovery really sucks. Very uncomfortable. Expensive too.

      How long was your recovery?

    • @Jo-oo1mx
      @Jo-oo1mx Місяць тому +2

      @@ecueto395 so, the surgeon said it takes about a year to feel normal again. Surgery was Jan 25th. First couple of days and weeks are terrible. Make sure to have someone come take care of you and get yourself a scooter. But you can walk on it again surprisingly fast. It's June now, but it's still not 100%. I can't run yet. It still gets sore and my Achilles is still really tender. Hopefully you got someone whose not afraid of feet so they can massage them haha

      @@Jo-oo1mx thank you for the tip! I didn’t even think about needing to massage the area!

    Not one of these videos or these doctors will tell you the truth. I am 8 weeks post op, I can barely walk and can't fit into anything but a medical boot from all of the swelling.

      I’m sure it is faster than the traditional surgery though, right?
      The traditional procedure seems so traumatic and grizzly.. I feel like this procedure wouldn’t be as traumatic to the area therefore it’d be an easier recovery comparatively.

      This is the most invasive surgery for a bunion. I am 11 weeks post op and I regret this on a daily basis.
