I owned this car from 1985 to 1988.. had the 428 blue printed. Had factory LeMans rods . Sold it to guy in Gulfport Mississippi in late 88.. she was a good running car...

A bone stock 428 CJ was good for about 410 horses at 6000 rpm. The 428 CJ/SCJ was extremely underrated

1968 motor trend car of the year [on the cover] i use to look at that magazine everyday at my jr high library when i was in 8th grade. I and my 2 boys are rebuilding a 69 cobrajet now .shooting for 5 miles per gallon!! it looks like a twin brother to this one. richard olson from rice lake wis.

My brother had the same car, same year,same color , candy apple red. in the early 70s had mohawk tires 60’s on the back And cragar chrome rims!
I had one just like it, should have kept it, very under rated horsepower....
pretty sure drag pack included: stagger shocks, 4:30 gear, duel point distributor, 427 heads and intake, and holly 735, factory oil cooler, mine had factory headers
