Quick tip- the reason you were losing so much money after forming Germany is that you don automatically incorporate the southern German states, so you don’t collect any taxes from them, including industry, pops, etc.
Same with forming the North German Confederation.
He was trying to run the German Empire with the revenues of Prussia's starting states.
This is one mechanic that is a little undercooked. You have to integrate states to gain their revenues, and until that has occurred you only gain access to their resources.
Because Prussia will already have access to these resources, it always weakens them to form the North German Confederation or Germany, rather than being an industrial boon.
It makes sense when you conquer a state, but it doesn't make sense when you integrate countries.
As an addition, colonies cannot be taxed unless they are integrated or are in the process of integration hereafter they gain the exact same status as starting core territory.
While outside the range of the play-time, the Thirteen Colonies revolted over (at least proximally) a taxation dispute where they were being taxed while not gaining representation ("No Taxation without Representation" as you may recall).
This would be literally impossible in the world portrayed by Victoria 3.
@@whitehawk4099 funnily enough when you form south Germany as Austria it auto integrates, though that may just be for 1.5 +
Yeah I figured this out afterwards! It is interesting that the states do not auto-integrate, but I guess it is okay.
Against the revolutionaries it helps in my experience more, if you increase payment for gov employees, which you puted on very low, than slashing taxes on luxury goods…

evrybody alredy told you that you did not incorporate the rest but there is a botton that let's you change the production methods when you conquer something it's in the blue botton below and then you click reset production methods and you click on the conquered states it's sooo useful
Tip for conquered territory, if you go to the diplomatic map lens, you can select reset production methods and click on states you just conquered. Sets all buildings to the standard in your empire. Used it a lot in my Sokoto playthrough cause I got a lot more advanced than the African nations surrounding me

You need to change production methods to free up labour, the reason there are so many labourers (and bad quality of life) is because you have forced them to train qualifications through uni’s

When you integrate so much territory at once very rarely will you be able to keep all construction sectors. Immediately after the integration you paid almost 300k for construction goods which was more than your deficit.
Also, whenever you cancel the enactment of a law that a movement wants, the radicalism of the movement increases by 30. They go revolutionary over 50, so you will never be able to do that more than once without the movement becomiung insurrectionary.

Be Prussia and Conquer Britain from the Start
That could be a fun challenge for next time!
My dude, there are so many wrong stuff in the game, I cringe so hard: (
1. You can usually 1v1 Austria at the start of the game, with Armed Force in your government, who should be loyal and influential, give you about 10%defense and attack, so you should get Schleswig Holstein at tbe start. If other GP join, add in their rivals with obligation. Otherwise back up your Diplo play.
2. Get other nations (European+ S/N American) into your market, so that you could Siphon pop from their country, esp useful when you run out of men
3. Pass Health Law and Worker Protection to get more pop growth
4. Get Colonial Resettlement/exploitation at the start, with Armed Force in your government, which might make them influential, which give your 30% attack defense, easier to defeat Austria alone, with lower troops count, you don't even need to build any army building at the start.
Tips for handling double revolution: don't get into one, don't overspent or debt spending too much, keeps your interest groupes happy by giving them approval through events
For super Germany run, do not rival Austria and improve with them, and improve with all German minors. After you finish North German Federation, you should they might turn conciliatory. Then youform super Germany w Austria, you get instant #1GP in 1850s.
For Colonial, your number one Target should be Zanzibar, cuck the Britts there, (side noteC. Resettlement is not good as Exploitation for home land industrial growth), Mauritia, and Congo, to get the most out of them, vassalize the most out of S. American esp. Venezuela to get oil, and Lead.
