whenever i played GFM and game started to crash on certain date i usually checked what event fires in the game logs and remove it from the game files. you could try that as well

Have you ever considered playing on HPM instead of HFM? It has alot less railroading and might make it easier to play flavourless countries

There's pretty big bug in GFM that's why the game crashes on that date, its been reported by others and they should have it fixed soon.
You should go over the infamy limit like a Chad
See the Russia or Prussia videos :) When I did that people asked me to stop so I don't do it frequently anymore.

It didn't have a thumbnail like the others and it said zero views, but I just thought that was a UA-cam glitch. Great Video! I really enjoyed this video but sad that the game died after 13th it was really exciting campaign
I played Vic 2 Japan vanilla and ended up with 500 million population in 1900. I took the Chinese province of wenshou which added 8 million population in 1850 or so and conquered most populated regions of China, while later on taking most of Africa

Usually you just switch to a more recent version of the mod and then it crashes less.

Even if a map gamer has friends they never see them as useful due to how horrendous paradox ally AI is.
i love your gameplays, keep going. you should play muscovy on divergences, or maybe Crimea and form Tatarstan, that would be the hardest challenge since Muscovy has ton of cores

great game, I've never had a japan game that good. When you finish VIC2 AtoZ you should do a subscriber challenge. Like give us two options and have us vote.

I've often thought about buying a Paradox game or two. The ever-present risk of late-game crashing is probably the biggest thing that holds me back. But, if my empire had to die, I'd rather it be by the game crashing than losing on the field of battle.
That hasn't been much of a problem in my experience most of the time, but I've had two campaigns that were going well end like that with this particular mod
