The Philippines was easily the most fun I’ve had in Victoria 3. Breaking free from Spain and battling the Dutch East Indies for supremacy in Indonesia was a blast.
On the topic of Imperator, if you were to try the game out again (and you should because it's very good, IMO one of the best paradox games rn) you should def get the mod Invictus as it basically continued the development of the game in mod form :D Also it's weird that Bulgaria doesn't get released with religious schools as it did definitely have them in the 19th century lol

With economic crashes, wars, droughts, plagues and such lowering the population. A population density map specifying the smallest possible regions of a country allowing you to see how centralised/rural/developed a greater region is with consequences for having certain demographics. Along with the ethnic mixture of the region affecting it politically with shifts in culture and values, allowing places like austria to turn much of the balkans German if given enough time and managed correctly for example, largely securing the region in the German sphere.
You can make the AI more aggressive in the game rules and it really works! In my recent playthrough France conquered Croatia and Britain puppeted half of the Middle East.

Playing released countries can be pretty fun. The first game I played to 1936 was as released Ukraine. Which is actually surpringsly powerful. Scotland and Manchuria were also quite fun. Some countries are totally broken, though. Ireland and Occitania are examples of this. They have no government admin buildings, and I dont think you build enough of them before going bankrupt.

Goals being to colonize, capture all of the South Pacific territory, colonize capture the Oceania territories, and capture Japan. Basically, all island nations in the south and east pacific belong to the Philippines on Victoria 3
You forgot about Sorbia, which is as far as I checked something that is in the game, I suspect the reason you cannot release it normally is due to the fact Saxony's capital is in Sorbia's capital but regardless

you forgot to release Anahuac and the CSA, for the former you have to change Mexico's capital first and for the latter you had to relaese it before you released Cherokee, New Africa, etc..
No idea why Austria dominates this patch, but France would dominate last patch because of a treaty port in India giving them free access to the British market.

Laith you definitely gotta try the oni nation of Azkajuma in Anbennar, they are very fun, especially with defensive ideas, but also you have to beat the giant Hobgoblin nation of the Command.

There's actually a mod called Shattered world that releases every tag plus some it says it's not updated but it works fine even on the beta branch
