When we restore a classic car with hand built coachwork for Pebble beach, you have to leave the weld marks under the fenders where the parts were gas welded and hammered flat. They mask them off when applying filler to the rest of the inside of the fenders so they show later. On a 1930's Alfa I did, we had to save the stenciled body number for the car by cutting it out of the rotted wood seat frame and inlaying it into the new wood. Pit marks and air holes in the aluminum castings of Duesenberg valvecovers are left in after polishing ....instead of welding them up and ruining them because the new material doesn't match the 1929 aluminum. It's only original once

What a wonderful story
ПОДПИСЫВАТЬСЯ is not correct - use ПОДПИСЫВАЙТЕСЬ
Is this the вы conjugation of the verb? The one he posted is the infinitive?

I have seen these before in antique shops where I'm from. He is spot on with the restoration. Great job!
I dont know...that "Black Americana" is the right word for this....
Now that you have restored this bank, the proper thing to do instead of selling to a private collector is to donate it to the Jim Crow Museum in Michigan USA. They are always accepting new items. These pieces can be very useful in the proper context. I hope you consider this option.
Agreed, this is an excellent idea. It represents a specific time in American history when such things were acceptable, and a museum is where you put things that need to be remembered. This sort of thing NEEDS to be remembered so no one ever forgets how hurtful such things can be. Excellent restoration, make it count.
I love restoration videos but I feel like this item should've stayed rusty and in the trash
Sandblasting was not too long. It is incredibly relaxing and satisfying
Was really not expecting it to be in blackface at the end. Plot twist of the month.
Me: oh man that paint makes me uncomfortable, I must be the only one
*checks the comments*
Me: oh thank god it's not just me.

Why does a painted kitchen figure make you feel uncomfortable? People are too sensitive. You tremble and break out in sweat due to a metal coin back being painted black and white?
Why? It's probably acrylic, not toxic. And he put a hard clear coat on it so it'll be fine
@@DaleDix Winner, winner, chicken dinner!
Paint makes you uncomfortable? Paint makes you uncomfortable?! [eyeroll]
I almost wish you made some videos polishing coins.... That was the most beautiful €2 coin I've ever seen.
Polish 2 Euro coins and sell them for 3 Euro + shipping. ;)
All the numismatists--coin collectors--would be gritting their teeth, and burning up the comments section. One of their most common rules--never clean your coins. A buffed coin would make them apoplectic...
Hats off to the chef!....
I'll let myself out lol

Спасибо! Смотрим с внуками.
Клоун шикарный.
У внука машинка-копилка, у внучки серебряный поросенок.
В доме ни копейки, вся мелочь вычищается.)) 6 и 2 года.

Sand blasting is awesome, it's one of those things that is pleasing to the mind. I watched the 18 minute sand blasting video 3 times :)
I applaud keeping it accurate for historical purposes but those eyes are staring into my soul
Beautiful work!👍👍👍
Finally some sandblasting!!
I love sandblasting, its somehow very relaxing. Your sandblasting-only video was exactly what I need :)
Приятель, возьми меня песочить вещи, готов работать практически за еду)
Это так правильно говорить "Песочить" или я не одна так странно перевожу???
You are exceptionally good at spray painting. I love this restoration
Love your videos helps me fall asleep at night you do such a wonderful job and it's so relaxing to watch thank you !
Wow, this one turned out really nice!
Y'all really need to stop freaking out about the paint, TF. It's called historical accuracy?
The sandblaster! That IS my favorite part! The sandblaster reveals all!
Clever UA-camr has "subscribe" in multiple languages, like Easter eggs, in his video. Google Translate says the spray bottle is in Russian. ;)
Да да, мы тоже это смотрим )) привет тебе ихтиандр туев )))
Thank you for accommodating the weird sandblasting addiction I didn't knew I had, before I found your videos 🤣
The sandblasting is so relaxing and satisfying
You could start a whole other channel with just the sandblasting and I’d watch both XD
**sees the skin parts are painted black** oh no
**sees mouth is painted red** ᴏʜ ɴᴏ
Well at least only the inside of the mouth not the whole fat lips mouth which would have put it firmly into the 'blackface' category
But yeah I think it might have been better - or more culturally sensitive, anyway - to reverse the black and white. Then, as someone else said, a fat white guy in a tux rather than a fat black waiter.
@@christopherbedford9897 but then It wouldn't be historically accurate
Oh no
Oh no
Oh no no no no no
This is exactly the way it was made and painted 50-70 yrs ago. Nice piece of history restored. Great job.
I’m from Brazil, and one of My dreams is to meet you!!! ❤️ You are Amazing!!!!
God this comment section is just filled with everyone freaking out about the paint job the guy did on the bank, like I haven’t seen one comment talk about how the UA-camr did a good job fixing the flipping thing. NoOoO, let’s talk about how he panted the old piggy bank to look like it in black face!!!!!
Exactly, all these people are getting offended over some a stupid piggy bank just bc it's painted black but like bruh history is history and whining about it isn't gonna change it
I need this little man in my life. I want him desperately.
Tysy: I bite my nails every time I watch you using a screwdriver or a brush after the paint job is done.
I would either make a mess with the brush or scratch the paint. Your hand control is amazing. 😊
You can almost see his smile get bigger as hes being restored. 😌
Love the videos.
