Yes they are !! I really love bright cymbals to contrast with the deep shells ! I have A Custom Projection crashes which are thinner than Medium for more projection !
Mustis1524 exactly !! :) I'll add a cardioid condenser microphone for the two splashes so they'll be more precise in the mix and the spacing will be done with the 2 sm81 micing the crashes
The A Ultra Hammered has a lot more sustain than the Holy China which is cut. It depends on how you like two chinas to sound 😉 The best thing is if you are able, go play both of them in your local store ! Therefore, I think the both will sound great together 😊 The Zildjian as your main, and the Holy as your "FX" china, but that's just my thoughts !
100% meca yes I know I'm France too 😉 Regarde dans les conservatoires, tu peux avoir des bonnes surprises !
Man, you have incredible skills. Please explore all drum genres, when you'll be tired of metal stuff, there's a world...Don't you love Erskine? Or "El Negro" Hernandez? Or Dennis Chambers? With your flawless tech you have so much potential...IMHO the problem in this genrle is that it's easy to be repetitive, and not musical. IMHO.
Thank you man !! As written in the description, I was using : Evans Drumheads Snare - Top : Heavyweight / Bottom : Hazy 300 Toms - Top : G2 Clear / Bottom : G1 Clear Kicks - Roland PowerPly Mesh
Well, to be honest, the one I am using today is the one I have in this video 😉 No crackles, no problem at all ! But it is the auxiliary china, so the one I use the less. I did many covers, shows and rehearses since then so it is pretty solid ! :D
Of course this cymbal sounds great; and the 21" even more ! I understand that this type of drumming is not to the taste of everyone and there’s no problem about it Thank you for watching the video 😉
Thank you for your comment, I can understand you didn't like the sound, listening it now, I don't like it that much too … xD You can check my last videos where I really prefer the production I did 😊
@@ThomasCremier sorry for the late reply... Just listened to the Septic Flesh cover The vampire of Nazareth. Now it's much better, just use less reverb especially on the snare to avoid the confused cavern effect. You want a much more focused/heavy sound
What's wrong using triggers ? I admit now I hear my mix, the sample I made for this isn't sounding good at all, but I invite you to watch my latest videos, and tell me what you think about the sound ! Thanks !
I've been playing drums for 15 years and this man has played more total notes than me in under 20 minutes
Ahahaha man !! I understand 😛
1:35
*BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTT*
HAHHAHAAHA yep yep the ol’ heel toe badassness
bro your footwork is so balanced and fast. you can clearly hear every note. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥fire
Thank you very much !!
This can be achieve because I use triggers. The sound isn’t a buzzing noise 😉
holy shit dude. literally a machine. so impressed
Thank you man !! \m/
2:32 machinegun mode ON
My god that’s insane
That one handed snare roll was incredibly impressive! lot of practice for that
Hi there ! Thanks ! It's called in metal drumming a gravity blast ! And yeah it wasn't easy at first, for now, I can only do this with my right hand !
My wrists and ankles are cramping from just watching this video.
Sure sometimes it can be difficult ! But with training and practice it's becoming an habit !
I'm a guitarist but I love watching these kinds of drumming videos
Thank you man! =D
Thomas Crémier of course 👌
Bruh those kicks are insane. It sounds like a machine level of skill lol
Thank you very much ! 😬😬
thats some sweet double kick work bro
Thank you very much 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Clean......so clean
I really love the Snare sound, nice drumming \m/
Thank you so much !! :D
Cheers !
I have the old z3 version of this. These chinas are total tanks and will cut through anything at all times. An absolute essential for me
Completely !!
I use now the 19" and 21" and I love these ♥️
Double strokes on the bass drum ?
That's correct ! 😊
Epic drumming !!!!
Killer drums and cymbals dude, that ultra hammered china sounds perfect
Thank you very much ! :D
Love them so much ! \m/
Thomas Crémier you’re a killer player brother
Holy shit damn! If it didn't have the video I would have said it was definitely a drum machine. Your awesome!!
BiffaPlayz thank you so much man !! New videos are coming very sooon ! Do not hesitate to subscribe to know when they are released :)
Brutal Bro, you're awesome!
Thank you so much !!
I am thinking about purchasing the ultra hammered 19 or 21" china - how do you like it?
That paddling is next level
Thanks !! :D
Awesome
Boretsky thank you 👍🏻
i come here for A china but surprisingly that z3 ride is really good sound.
This is the best Mega Bell Ride 😇
Sick! Do you remember what your tm-2 settings were when you used axis? Thanks!
Ur snare sound is god level........I'm sure uve cranked it up super high.....
Oh yeah !! That's how you have that crispy sound 😇
Those A custom projection crash is so bright.
I thought it was A/A cust medium that has thicker body
Yes they are !! I really love bright cymbals to contrast with the deep shells !
I have A Custom Projection crashes which are thinner than Medium for more projection !
Va falloir la refaire maintenant ! Une fois endorsé, il faut passer en revue le set complet...
Déjà fait 😇
Et on va le refaire encore héhé
@@ThomasCremier avec un meilleur son évidemment !
@@StephaneCremier totalement ! 😬
That china is massive!!
Oh yeah! It's absolutely beast !! But I have it in 21" and it is even more violent ! :D
The both are really great together !
Oh so you mic up each cymbal individually? (Except for splashes)
Mustis1524 exactly !! :) I'll add a cardioid condenser microphone for the two splashes so they'll be more precise in the mix and the spacing will be done with the 2 sm81 micing the crashes
That set looks and sounds a lot like mario duplantier of gojira's drumset. Is it same model or wood?
Mario is definitely one of my greatest influence, I cannot hide that !!
I think he has the Bubinga version, I have the Maple 😉
@@ThomasCremier great drumming too! That was awesome!
This video actually made me more interested in the 20" China. Lol
The 20" A Custom China is so great, less aggressive ! I love that one too !
Genial cette china elle envoie.
Sinon toujours aussi pro dans le son l'image et surtout le jeu.
Mixame 36 merci bien !!!! Et Oui comment elle envoie c'est un délire 😊
What's the China on your right-hand side?!
Written on the description below the video :
Zildjian 20" A Custom China
how do you think it would compare to the sabian aax holy china? Is it worth having both on my kit?
The A Ultra Hammered has a lot more sustain than the Holy China which is cut. It depends on how you like two chinas to sound 😉
The best thing is if you are able, go play both of them in your local store !
Therefore, I think the both will sound great together 😊
The Zildjian as your main, and the Holy as your "FX" china, but that's just my thoughts !
Your double bass skills are amazing! Leave blast beats alone! They have no soul!
Love blast beats, and will always do it 😉
Thank you !!
Awesome stuff man! Hey whereabouts did you mount the RT30K's?
Mike Portnoy was taking cover from the machine gun fire in the background!
Ahahaha yeah ! He took notes 😜
to clean sounding for me. I like really trashy sounding chinas
Agreed.
Exactly
I feel you
Machine!
Man. How you learn drum ? I begin 1 year ago, and i cant progress..
100% meca more than one year ! Do you take drum lessons with a teacher ?
Thomas Crémier no im solo
Thomas Crémier in france its too expensive.. 40 euros for 1 hour with personnal teacher.. I can't..
100% meca yes I know I'm France too 😉

I put up the volume for the China symbol intro and rewinded to the intro, never shit my pants before
Ahaha happy to read this !! :D
Please play the other side. Thanks.
Why playing a china in the other side ? It wears out more the sticks !
Hell yeah!!👍

I can understand what you say, for now I am into extreme metal, but that's sure one day I will leave this genre for another horizon 😊
Dude…are you a robot?!?😮
No I don't think so 😉
Machine gun bass drum literally sounds like warfare
I literally could do the sound design in any war movies or games ahah
Need more cowbell
Ahahaha well, you are right ! :D
My god
👀
Love the sound of the kit. Flawless drumming bro. What kind of heads are you using all around? Bass, snare, toms?
Thank you man !!
As written in the description, I was using :
Evans Drumheads
Snare - Top : Heavyweight / Bottom : Hazy 300
Toms - Top : G2 Clear / Bottom : G1 Clear
Kicks - Roland PowerPly Mesh
holy shit!!!
Thank you so freaking much ! :D ♥️
That kick speed...shit
"Hope it gives a longer durability to the china ! "
So? 4 years later, is this china is robust?
Well, to be honest, the one I am using today is the one I have in this video 😉
No crackles, no problem at all ! But it is the auxiliary china, so the one I use the less. I did many covers, shows and rehearses since then so it is pretty solid ! :D
Очень быстрая долбёжка. Меня такая работа не очень впечатляет. Музыки не услышал.
Но! Тарелки "China" звучат отлично.
Of course this cymbal sounds great; and the 21" even more !
I understand that this type of drumming is not to the taste of everyone and there’s no problem about it

what the fuck was that kick pattern my guy
Impressive technique, but not my favorite sound at all

You can check my last videos where I really prefer the production I did 😊
ultrahhamered drum
Ahahahaha !! Yeah they are ! 😉
But more seriously, I do believe some metal shells could be hand hammered … But it's something to verify !
This dudes feet and ankles must get so sore. He is going to need prosthetic ankles by 35.
Well hopefully, it doesn't hurt my ankles ! I play pretty much relaxed 😊
I hope it'll stay like that !
Work on your gravity blast
I am !
You can see a fast demonstration here and there :

Thomas Crémier Not saying I can do any better than you by the way. I mean dude you kick ass.
@@vincent-ow8ss Thank you ! 😉
Less is more.
Tell this to Aversions Crown, Lorna Shore, Archspire and all extreme metal bands.
Everything is a matter of tastes and preferences.
@ThomasCremier touche'.
Did you teach yourself how to play or did you have a teacher?
I took 1,5 years at first (I was 9) but after this, everything is self taught 😊
go lighter with the processing...the drums sound fake, unnatural and unpleasant for the ears.
trey azagathooth I changed my processing chain for my drums, check my last cover videos and tell me what you think 😉
The only thing that sounds unnatural is the kick, and that's because it's a sample
@@ThomasCremier sorry for the late reply... Just listened to the Septic Flesh cover The vampire of Nazareth. Now it's much better, just use less reverb especially on the snare to avoid the confused cavern effect. You want a much more focused/heavy sound
0 triggers hahaha
Never said that 😉
I trigger my kicks 100% ! But no sample reinforcement or replacement have been done for snare and toms, everything is natural 😉
Trigger…… gross
What's wrong using triggers ?
