Liver regenerates every 365 days, skin renews every 28 days, intestinal lining renews every 3 - 5 days, bones repair in 6 - 8 weeks, muscles take 6 - 8 weeks to heal. Stem cells can help. Pancreas (diabetes) can regenerate 6 - 12 weeks but hard to heal it, kidneys and adrenal glands 6-8 months, heart can get scarred and doesn’t regenerate as well as the kidneys, if you have a stroke get oxygen ( or a hypoberic chamber-immediately). Brain/nerve tissue takes the longest 1 year - 12 years. Thyroid takes 3 - 6 months. Our body is almost completely new each year!

What a blessing you are!! I am getting married in August to a wonderful man and we are hoping to get pregnant next year. I just wrote down some steps to take to prepare our bodies for conceiving, but we want to change our diets too. I remembered you always give great food advice on your videos so just an hour ago I wrote "Dr Josh Axe Food Suggestions" at the top of a piece of paper and underlined it thinking I would rewatch one of your videos. Then this video pops up right away!! 🙌💖 I am excited to listen and learn!
And also can't wait for when Chelsea comes on!!
    Have a lovely day! 🌻🌞

So much respect and admiration for you, Dr. Josh. You’re teachings are a beautiful amalgamation of optimizing health through the power of Jesus Christ. As a survivor of a primary brain tumor, diagnosis and chronic epilepsy, I can attest that what you share is legit, and I pray that more people come and humble themselves at the foot of the cross and start making healthier more decisions about mental, nutritional, and, integrative health.

I love you Dr Axe and you sharing so much useful information. You mentioned hyperbaric treatments, not sure if you mentioned red light therapy and other therapies such as those…which are very expensive, and for most, not accessible and/or NOT part of most “health insurances”…I hate our insurance systems and it’s protocols…HATE IT…it’s not conducive to actual healthy healing… cellular healing. But the majority is “required” to have these useless insurance plans or be penalized! Why do you think that is…because the “elites” don’t want us to be productive and healthy…PERIOD🤬

My husband’s occasional comment is, I just want to be able to attend to my own toilet needs (he isn’t that polite!) and manage my own checkbook.
We have undergone 3 treatments (of 5) for detoxification by plasma exchange. We tested with high levels of heavy metals and other serious toxins. The treatments have had a clear benefit to my strength and endurance at the gym; I am sleeping better, and am much more clear-headed.
Our levels of toxins were high but not uncommon for people in the Chicago area. The plasma exchange is quite expensive and not covered by insurance, but could extend a toxic person’s healthspan considerably.

I had eye floaters due to macular degenerationand eyelea shots in my eyes and one of the people in my eye doctors office. Patient said she stopped eating seed oils and her floaters went away. Mine also went away. I now cook only in tallow or coconut oil I do use some olive oil and avocado oil, but you have to be careful because many of the cheap ones are not actually olive oil and avocado oil but if you stick to the animal base Will be better and I have no floaters after two years of horrible, horrible floaters

This is excellent. So much info . I could really use a book exploring this topic 😊. My issue though is sadly not addressed - I have had one hip replacement and am facing future hip and both knee replacements. Osteoarthritis and meniscal tears. I really don't want more surgeries. They are so hard on the brain, body and spirit.☹️ I share your pain as I struggled to walk with canes and walkers and it took me over a year to get my function back post-surgery.

    • @pattiannepascual

emf is deadly but rarely mentioned. Every single thing that uses electricity emits emf.Certain products a lot more than others. The more modern products, the more emf people are surrounded by. It's only going to get worse with the push for everything to be electric. We definitely need serious studies (independent) so people know the truth and get rid of the harmful products before they get sick and cancer. There is at least one study linking emf to cancer.

@dr.axe i cant help but notice the condition of your skin. I know that you areba hardcore keto guy who incorpaorates tons of plants nuts and seeds, but you really should adopt strict carnivore for 90 days to see what is agitating your skin. I had a butterfly rash with a bright red nose for years. The skin on my nose would develop blisters too, it was beyond embarrasing. I couldnt even cover it up with nakeup because the makeup would crack and bleed which would only make it worse. After being on carnivore for 6 months i stated playing with aome of my favorite foods again and found a sever reaction to all grains, nighshade veg, along with some other veg. I have a hard time with bananas, berries and grapes too. Just a suggestion. It really did help me get to the bottom of my skin issues. I also recently started using blue tansy essensial oils on my face, we'll see how that goes. Shalom

I'm trying to detox from mold & mycotoxcity. I already was vegetarian. My provider made me go cut out dairy, nightshades & EVOO. Then was encouraged to do cellular diet. After listening to this, it sounds like there's no hope for me if I do not eat meat. What am I to do?!

But there are no essential sugars/starches to have to consume. Gluconeogenesis from the liver provides all needed blood glucose for the body to use. You should talk to Dr Paul Mason or Dr Gary Fetke or Dr Robert Lufkin, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Philip Ovadia

I'm not against the vegetarian diet, but I know that you talk a lot about eating organic meat. There is a doctor that has lived to be a 100 yrs.old based on a vegetarian diet.

I have spine degeneration. My L4 fell on my L5. I have bone on bone on my hip. I am a sugar addict. Very tough to kick. I hate a diet high in animal proteins. What should I do that is affordable to a poor senior to heal that L4. Is it possible?❤

You said sugar addiction. Focus on protein. If you focus on getting enough protein everyday your sugar cravings will subside a ton. You’ll feel a lot less inflamed. I’m not a doctor but I go to a functional medical doctor. This is what he tells me to do

Dr. Axe, I’ve been doing a lot of what you recommend most of my life. I’m almost 70 and people assume I am much younger. Unfortunately I recently developed plantar fasciitis and it’s really slowing me down. I’ve done the exercises, gotten the arch supports , etc. but it just won’t go away. Any suggestions?

I saw my mother in law at 90-96 years. Believe me, you do not want t be that old. You get all kind of embarrasing problems. Also teeth that hurt. Being tired, not belonging to/understanding the new world any longer etc etc It was awfull to see. She was miserable.

it doesn't have to be that way the blue zone groups are still climbing mountains at those ages. Research it. not too late for you to make changes. At the very least, try the Mediterranean diet, but stock up it properly, don't make up your own portions. stay active

@Dr. Josh Axe we have to be careful with taking licorice root that isn't DVG because it will cause the blood pressure to rise taking it for a long period of time in large amounts. It also, can cause a heart attack and hypertension.
This is what I experienced in taking licorice root that isn't DVG; my blood pressure rise and experienced hypertension. Through doing my own research, I found this out.

    • @lyns2686
      @lyns2686 4 місяці тому +1

I don't know what DVG is, but if I spent time thinking about it, I'd probably figure it out. But years ago, someone told me something negative about licorice root, and I haven't touched it since. I don't remember what they said, but it kept me away from it.
