I got a 10 crate bundle and was lucky enough to score Johnston. A very worthwhile ship IMO. Great concealment lets you provide visibility to your team, great smoke to help keep them out of harm's way and great hitting power. Wish the torps reloaded a bit faster but just need to manage things a bit more. Glad the Johnston was added so folks might read about Lt. Cmdr Evans and the unbelievable bravery of the destroyer crews who charged at a superior force and saved many lives. While Halsey was sinking empty carriers and MacArthur was filming himself wading ashore, Evans and LCMDR Copeland of the "Sammy B" were performing miracles. Encourage all to look into the Albert Pike letters and consider WW1 and WW2 as arranged hostile takeovers and forced realignments of the world on behalf of financiers because they are at it again.
same, had 200 independence tokens, bought 10 wings of freedom containers and got the johnston on the first crate and the halford in the same 10 crates. Luckiest draw I've ever had with WOWs
In my opinion, smoke dd's are hard to play in today's meta because nobody gets close to have more spotting options, players today only know how to push the get back button all they long, as dd player that's annoying. I play Halland or Daring most of the time for that reason. And I love my gearing but.

@@vitezslavlorenc3479 short duration more for hit and run than farming, daring gun boat is better in my personal opinion than hybrid.
@@jgl2920 Yeah but you can use it to hide your ship from cv or when spotted in bad moment. DDs without smoke cant do that and will just suffer...
