Rented this machine for a day and it was one of most satisfying experiences I've had when it comes to riding motorcycles. The seat is super comfortable and even with such low seat height it fits perfectly for my 5'11 frame. The Sound... Personally I find this to be the best sounding stock bike I've ever come across... No need to spend any money for aftermarket pipes...the stock one sounds incredible
Hi Sir, I've watched your videos on Inty 650 on your channel. How do you compare Street Twin with Inty 650 in terms of rear suspension performance and low-end torque ? I know the spec sheet difference, but I would like to hear real world experience since you have ridden both. I've rented Inty a few times in Bengaluru and it is a serious contender for my next upgrade while I'm aware of comfort/ergonomics related mods required to make it a decent tourer. Street Twin is the other option I'm considering, but I'm hearing that its rear suspension is not at all comfortable on Indian (broken) roads. Thanks in advance !
@@79manoor Hello Manoor... There is quite a difference between both machines when it comes to build quality, Fit-finish etc which I won't get into since I'm assuming you're already aware of the same.
Interceptor's low end performance is really good and quite strong actually - and the Street Twin does the same and the difference isn't night and day to be honest... Street twin feels more stable at higher speeds though and is actually alot more comfortable ergonomically when compared with the INT650.. the seat is well designed and well cushioned.
The only major issue I encountered with the Street Twin was when I took a pillion along on it - I couldn't go through speed breakers without scraping the underbelly of the bike and it got to a point where I would stop the bike right before the braker for my pillion to get down from the bike and once I've crossed the breaker my pillion would hop back on. It's manageable if you're riding solo but with a pillion it was a nightmare (especially because it was a rented bike and I was worried about the potential damage).
The rear suspension isn't too stiff...it's just right and never felt out of place on rough roads.
@@TheTwinPost Thanks a lot sir for the detailed reply. I would also love to rent this bike, but here in Bengaluru I didn't find any option. Only Royal Brother is offering Street Twin, but that's only for inter-city travel costing about 20k. Btw, I asked about rear suspension, since my current ride Classic 350 reborn had stiff hydraulic suspension which I later changed to BS4/BS6 gas charged shocks which made a lot of difference.
@@79manoor Funny thing is I also rented Street Twin from Royal Brothers but paid around 2100 rupees for 200 odd kilometres because of some offer they had at that particular time when coincidentally I was in Bangalore for some work. I rode it in city, electronic City flyover, narrow lanes of shivaji nagar, hosur road & NICE road to experience it's highway performance. It's rear suspension felt better in feel as compared to Interceptor... Interceptor's rear suspension feels a bit jumpy (I've rotated it 1 step up which made things bit more stable). There's an expensive suspension upgrade available for Interceptor in the form of YSS but personally I've never felt the need to go for it but I've heard good things about it.
Be sure to put your headphones for a better experience!👀🔥
The raw sound, The supreme parallel twin sound 🤌
I wish I could capture the sound in a better way! In real it sounded even more amazing!
Are you facing any issues with a 130 mm ground clearence?
Really appreciate triumph tat tey focus on pillion seat comfort too...other bikes pillion seat looks like it's designed for seating a baby..
4:50 to 7:25 peace 🕊🕊
It would be better if you describe about the bike while riding it too...like how does it handles in coners, about breakes, seat comfort, foot pegs placement, throttle response in various rpms so on...
Noted my friend! Would surely consider these points for the next bike! 🙌🏼 Do subscribe to stay notified about it!👀
Noise cancellation mic missing 😢
What about heating in heavy traffic???????
Hi Amogh, im planning to get speed twin 900 but i checking the issues with its ground clearance. as 130mm is very low for Indian roads. how is your experience with its ground clearance. In Maharashtra uneven size of speed breakers is a big issue.
