I think the inclusion of dogs is kinda cool because of the whole thing about dogs and cats staring off into nothing, which can be seen as them looking at a "ghost." I'm not great at putting it into words but I think the dogs are there because they are the only ones that can see him.

YES. it’s such a crazy idea. he also says in picking up hands “i tried to call but the dog runs away from me now” which is SO sad and made me tear up because he’s not focusing on the massive burden of being dead and having to watch the world around you. he’s focusing on the small nuances that previously gave his life meaning. the posters in his room, the tree outside, and the dogs. he feels like he’s a stranger in his own home now. it’s beautiful and terrifying.

@@aquawrld it’s beautiful isn’t it? after doing some more reading this becomes even more apparent. he describes revisiting his childhood home and trying to make his presence known to everybody who is grieving him, but everything looks so different and he’s lost his ability to speak or make contact with the world he once lived in. can you imagine being dead and having to sit in silence and watch your family grieve you? to have to silently observe as they dig through your pictures, replay videos and try to relive memories? and to try your hardest to show them that you’re not all that far away and you can still be with them to no avail? it’s an unbelievable concept. the loneliness must be crippling. it’s no wonder he gets so angry with his mom when he sees her beginning to move on once his birthday hits. he probably feels all of this loneliness is for nothing and he can’t stand the idea of watching the world move on from him without being about to hold on.

Album explained a little if you are confused:
He dies from taking his own life and he becomes a ghost. He watches his mother grieve and becomes frustrated as he can’t do anything as she moves on rather quickly. Everyone says he went to heaven as he watches in a ghostly dimension. He gets sad, angry, and lonely and turns on the gas stove so his mother can join him. This doesn’t work how he wanted and now they are even more disconnected in this ghostly realm. He can’t even see her, but he can make out her voice. In cassini’s destiny, he finally goes into the void and finds closure as he understands that his mother needs to “let me go and don’t let go of me”. They go into the void together and are forever separated similarly to the gap in Saturns rings (cassini’s destiny astronomy definition)

@@skitz876 I already did for sure. I read the house settling song as him lingering as a ghost and his mother sensing his presence through the cold in the air so she keeps turning up the heat and he's reminded of his own death. When we transition into fantasyworld and fractions of infinity, he realizes that he can't actually move on until he moves on from his guilt and realizes that people have to let him go. That's why cassini's division kicks in and he has to exist in a state where he's always separated via that void of being remembered, but let go. I really don't get how people read into house settling like that.

Well-written, well-produced, an absolute gut punch of emotions. Fantasyworld is one of my top tracks of the year. Just amazing. By the way, the place in fractions of infinity is a place in Turkey with nearly 730 unfinished, abandoned castles. It is private property, so Quad had to sneak in to film, with help from an experienced UA-cam explorer who had done it before. I just find that so hilarious.

I don’t think you guys realize, the noise is intentional. It has to be, paranormal entities communicate through inconsistent means. The overproduction is intentional. They’re just out of reach communication wise but they can manipulate radios and things that have EMP frequency. That is found in old houses. I think a lot of people let that kind of go over their head. I’m tired of people saying that the lyrics aren’t great, they’re from the fucking perspective of a ghost they’re supposed to be inconsistent spread thoughts.
