- You should consider buying these top 5 Jeep Grand Cherokee models right now! There are a ton of great models from the Laredo or Altitude to the SRT or Trackhawk... but these are the 5 WK2 models that really stand out to me as ones you should grab in 2023 if you're shopping for a new car/truck/suv.
1. Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo X / Altitude - Blacked out accents, 3.6L v6 Pentastar engine (very reliable and it sounds decent!).
2. Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk - The off-road go-to for the Grand Cherokee coming from the factory with beefier tires, a skid plate, red tow hooks, and more specifically built for off-road use. Plus it can be optioned to have the 5.7L Hemi v8 engine.
3. Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X - The Limited X comes with a sportier look and plenty of options and creature comforts. The hood on the Limited X is the same one that comes standard on the SRT!

I have a summit wk2 grand cherokee and I’m in love with it, all around the most practical and best looking for the money
I always wanted a 2010 SRT, and then the 2018 SRT & Trackhawk came..... I would love any one of those.
I just got the Summit and I honestly think it tops the others. Interior is a 10/10 with Diamond cut leather all around the door panels and seats. Harman/ kardon audio, paddle shifters and it’s V8 5.7L. I only wish it had the same hood the limited X and Srt has.

I have the 15 overland edition and its awesome
80th anniversary basically an altitude package but it with all the options available all decked out was better price and you get the special trim, nice blackend woodgrain trim where you have your carbon fiber in the SRT, the 1941 willy's jeep embelem is hidden all over the vehicle. The rims are similar to your SRT but they are a dark stealth grey, almost black. I get double looks all over town especially if I just washed my jeep. Even they guy at my dealership said once he saw it he knew why I insisted on black and the 80th anniversary trim.

My personal favorite is the 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited 5.9 v-8. I have two of them and I’m looking for a third😄

This is the issue I’m stuck between and maybe someone can point out something i don’t know to help me, so I’m looking at a 2020 grand Cherokee limited X V6 with 18k miles for 36k and a 5.7 with 14k miles for 39k, i wanted to know longevity will the 5.7 be harder to maintain because of the extra power in it for the parts or is it the same price as the v6 would cost, and are 5.7 likely to have more common issues pop up, it’s for nothing off road at all more of just a daily driver, also i heard a 5.7 take premium and regular gas so i was hinted it might not be bad, any advice???
Is the Grand Cherokee Upland supposed to come with 4x2 or Quadra-Trac II 4x4 system? Ive seen some with it & some dont have it, is that like an add on thing?

I hate the scorpion tires. I have a 2015 altitude and I've had some pretty good luck with it ive only replaced one fuel injector harmonic balancer breaks tire and two head lights. So I Bought the wL and the limited was decently priced but I sold it because the Ford dealer paid me way more then I paid for it.

5.7 is available on the High Altitude not Altitude. I like the WK2 Grand Cherokee a lot, I’ve only driven a High Altitude with the 5.7 and a Overland with the EcoDiesel.
My daily is a 19 WD Dodge Durango GT Plus. It’s a nice SUV it’s been reliable, just hit 67k miles, I average around 21mpg and the highest I got was 25mpg.
I will say that I want to do a weight reduction, chip tune and mopar lowering kit. I want to keep the Durango until I’m done with college.

You really did miss a big one here. It’s far more rare and superior in a number of ways to others on your list. I have a 2018 WK2 Limited with a 3.0 diesel. It’s lifted with 32” tires and has a no. Deleted tune making 5
350ish hp and 550lbft of torque. Lifted with big tires, it gets 28mpg when I’m running 75 mph and will do 30+ if I keep it under 60. On top of that, it will pull a 7000lb trainer without breaking a sweat. (Although I did have to add a trans cooler.) show my another SUV that will do any of those things together.
I love my grand I just hate the issue I’m having with my radio screen it’s like a ghost rides with me daily 🤦🏾♀️ HELP!!!!

Just got a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Its amazing love it!! But do feel like the dealership did not put the right oil in it. The vehicle started shaking when idling and a small ticking sound as soon as i took it off the lot. So ima do my own oil change! Any recommendations of which is the best oil for these v6 enginee?
I switched to full synthetic, need oil change now but i just put cold air kn on mine. Not a limited 2017 Laredo but for the money it’s the best practical one 4 me

Ya know, I bought the Trailhawk with 5.7 been very happy as I live in mountains and off-road quite a bit. Now that I have had it a while I am wishing for a little more power.(looking into this) Not great gas milage and with gas hitting $5 again I'm glad I have a little commuter car for daily commuting to work.

Why not get something that's good off-road as well and has air suspension like the trailhawk V8 and then supercharge it. Already had a lot of good things included with it and Wouldn't be much less power than the srt when supercharging.it's also reliable off-road or in heavy snow

Yep so far so good got a 17 but this guy more into street style, Trailhawk more off road I use air suspension all the time as I live off road.
My 07 grand Cherokee gets the same mpg as a Trackhawk 😂😂

DIY or the dealership is always the best! Try to look for some local places with good reviews / ask around on local mopar groups!
I second that but seems to me several places I've checked don't want to do much maintenance on these things not sure why. I have hawk 5.7 finally found an offroad place that will work on it. Little on the pricey side.

Yep been around a while.
Full time 4 wheel drive, it's always in 4 H. First introduced in on the Wagoner 1963 and again in 1974 on the Cherokee Chief. Full time 4 H is not the same as awd, awd is not 4 H . Qudra track 1 is a good system for mud and snow, climbing gets a little rough
