In the winter I go to the self car washes at night when it’s not busy and I bucket wash. Ive never been given any issues doing it late. I have a Adam’s polishes 5 gallon bucket with lid so it’s filled before I get there and only use the sprayer for presoak and rinsing.
Careful! Those bulbs and assembly on the rear are EXPENSIVE. Mine went bad on my JGC because of an improper seal. It also messed up my backup cam. Just the bulbs was $280 because it’s all one assembly. The hatch had to be taken apart to install. Total bill was $600. Thank god for warranty!
Those 2 upoer dome lights were very easy to change. Don't go through the trouble of taking the whole thing down. You can pop the 2 lens covers off and remove the bulbs with pliers and pop the new LEDs in. Of course the bulbs in front of those 2 are soldered in. But even just changing those 2 made a huge improvement
Ha! Thank you for showing this view underneath the steering column. Mines all sagging down and I tell the dealer to fix it every time and they say it’s fine. Drives me nuts!
The beginning music in this video is fire. Sound like something from Harlem that the Cam'ron would rap on. nice video. I wan to get one of the jeeps, but I am so worried about fuel cost
Truck looks great man.. if I could add my opinion, don't waste money on Sylvania. They are the industry worst in upgradable lighting. Esp exterior LED and HID Xenon. I restore and upgrade headlights daily- They aren't brighter, they aren't quality controlled, and they are poorly engineered. Go Philips or cheap LED bulbs off eBay are better than Sylvania. I've never used interior lighting they could be different so I cant have an opinion there. OEM Osram are better but OEM standards are tough to compete with.
Gotta love the new england weather 🤦♀️..I live in Massachusetts so I feel ya pain. 😅 Love the videos just bought my 2018 altitude and I've learned alot from your videos...like the auto start/stop..thought there was something wrong with my jeep! Thank you and keep up the good work👍
At Flagship I rinse the car fully once with the high powered rinse then use the high powered soap, followed by another high powered rinse then hand dry the car.
When your Jeep dries, do you get water stains coming down the rear hatch window and under the door handles? You probably don’t notice it as much having a white Jeep. Mine is black.
Yeah I get streaks under the handles which is super weird to me lol Even if I wipe it dry with micro fibers it still ends up with them there eventually
To answer your question for the car wash. I do something of the sort... I start by a "Rince" (1) depending how dirty and what type of dirty as well. (Dirt, mud, salt... etc) I will focus more when removing salt than some dirt for sure. #StillAJeep ,right! Also depends where we going too. ;) So yeah a (1) "Rince" during which I have a micro fiber on hand for extra things such as bugs (weather dictate what extra is) or any other things... I simply don't like having too much pressurized water concentrated at the same spot, too close from paint for too long. I find it easier water, small move of the fiber, then water again... less risky for wax chip, clear coat deterioration and/or vinyl wrap rips. Ok so (1) "Rince" then (2) "Soap it" enough and I go linearly from front to back one side at the time till I reach the middle from the opposite place I started... If I started front I met at the middle rear then do same from rear to front on the opposite side... I don't keep the same routine everytime if it's summer, definetly bugs would be out there, so I will mostly start up front... in the winter probably starting back to front because of salt splashes everywhere... Once "Soaped" (2) and I hand removed the extra I saw... I sometimes do an extra soap. This would definitely be a case in winter time when I know she ain't going to receive love for some times, because weather dictates. :/ Then at this point, the extra has been removed, it has been soaped up nicely, so (3) "I Rince" her again and I will mostly simply leave it at the small pressure at this time (not engaging the trigger, I mean). I will go from top to bottom and from front to back this time because curves, right... So I start at the front end from top to bottom, hood front to back, front window, roof front to back and I push the soap back on that roof spoiler for then onto that back window and rear bumper, like the wind would do if drivin, right. For sides, I do top to bottom, front to back , I do the opposite for the other side, front to back... like I was driving so it follows the Jeep's curves. So then I finish with the inner liner and wheels so inner liner doesn't drip soap on my wheels and comes right back on the side door and all while I'm driving back home (to avoid soap spot when it dries off) Anyway this is in no shape of form a bullet proof technic, as I am not a professional, this still can be imporved I'm sure. But one thing I never EVER use, is the car wash brush except on wheels !! #ItWentEverywhere and you dont know what kind of crazy things can be hidden and could be scratching the paint real fast. Ok I hope this is what you were looking for, keep up the videos!!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE Yes I do all of it in a 2$/2min pay per use Car wash station with multiple garage bay. Just a bay you park and have multiple tools hanging and depending what you choose you can use the toll that goes with it... Rince/wash on main pressure Wax and some goodies on one The brush for foam Etc Summer I will use my pressure washer but winter I dont want the salt and stuff to be at my place, right. I dont trust the automated one and the touch less does not remove it all. So manually it is (also make you aware is something happens to the jeep very quick since you detail and inspect your own a lot) and touching up with the fiber is the way I found to be the most effective so far.
Question have you ever had to change out your back up camera mines is not working I drive a grand Cherokee jeep 2012 yes I know it’s a little bit old but have you?
hey bro, got a 2019 GC Limited.. was wondering if you could share how you got those white trims around the wheels on the body? did they come standard or did you buy them aftermarket? i been looking but couldnt find anything

Bucket and mit i have a white one to after I spent 10$ im like wtf so I recommend 303 Graphene spray to protect the paint second time just had to only use pressure soap and water at the bay!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE yes....I just bought a CPO Trailhawk and I didnt even realize that in 2020 cars still come with halogen bulbs. I need to upgrade ASAP. What do you recommend?
Not sure yet! Congrats on the new car - the video should hopefully be up some time next week so stay tuned for the headlight video! Just waiting for them to come in lol
@@BJPLIFESTYLE you're gonna have fun installing the low beams. I've changed the High. Low and fog lights to LEDs in my 2020 Attitude. The low beams were not easy. I went with the new Morimoto 2stroke 3.0 for the low beam and so far very happy with them.

I would recommend putting a ceramic coating, it gets less dirty and easier to wash and gives it a clean glossy look
On the wheels or the entire car?
You can do both. I use Carpro Cquartz 3.0 on the paint which good for colder climates and Carpro Dlux for the wheels which is another coating
I'll have to look into it, thanks for the tip! Does it help with the build up like I showed in the video? lol
