I'm not going to lie to you, you have the bike of my dreams, I have an FXSTS 2001,21' front wheel, my bike is very nice but the one you have is beautiful, for some reason that line that has on the rear wheel with the fender makes it look unbelievable amazing ,I love your bike...
My last chopper had a 21 inch rim on front paco springer front end it was sick wit the 3 degree rake lol 11 ft long .. nice build man the seat is sick ride on dude
@@martincvitkovich724 it’s a peanut. The 1948 125-S was how that name came about. It was later put on the ironhead Sportsters. I’ve heard this time and time again from guys that think it came from the Wassell. Seems like everyone’s Harley history starts at the Shovelhead these days.
Coke bottle type grips...I never heard that description before, but yeah - that's exactly what they are. In the catalog they just call them Nostalgic (or Nostalgia) grips. Oh, and the rest of the build is ok too 😛😛😛
I’ve gotten rid of all hand controls & switches since this. Am converting it to a jockey shift / foot clutch. It’ll be slick when I finish. The original build was just on par w/what was going on in the early 2000’s.
Only TRUE bobbers imo are Sucker Punch from Jeff & Donny & BBBs from Darwin Holdsworth. < These prove beyond the shadow of a doubt you can 'get down' w/ a 80ci EVO w/out spending more than 20k at the most (freakin' new!) and hang w/ just about any other bike on the road.
They’re sealed, but they came that way. I prefer just the old fashioned band w/a tube, but they’ve held air so far. What sucks is you can’t powder coat them without the pain in the ass of removing all the sealant.
I love the bobber and rat bikes....however I cannot find a company that builds them....stripped down to the basic bare minimum for an affordable price....all of them are designed and built as one offs for a client and are to expensive....or companies that sell the parts....if anyone knows of a company that builds them let me know...beautiful bike....
I want to do a kick, but I’ve yet to find a kit up to my standards. I would also have to convert to a zero dead rev ignition. I have a mechanical starter on it now, so I wouldn’t have to change much if I find a decent setup for the 5-speed transmissions.
CD Curry . . . Hookah Exhaust Header . . . You can get it with or without baffles . . . I'm guessing by the sound, that u r running it without baffles. Correct? And if so, do the cops ever give u shit for loud pipes? Sweet bike!!!
They don’t have baffles, and of course they kill the low end torque. But it’s an 80” Evo, not much there to begin with. I’m in Texas. No helmet laws & never had a cop stop me & pull any noise police type of thing.
@@cdcurry4654 Thanks for the quick reply. I'm in Colorado, the cops here can be a pain in the ass sometimes. So what part of Texas are u from? I used to live in Irving, just outside of Dallas. My sis is in La Vernia, right near San Antonio. I might be moving there later this year. Can't wait to ride the Texas Hill Country. Heard it is pretty cool. Ok bro, have a good time on that bitchin' bike of yours!!
I just finished the jockey shift conversion. Kickstart is on the list, but I have to change the mainshaft and swap to a zero dead rev ignition. Time & money. It’s got a mechanical solenoid starter now that’s hidden beneath the oil tank. Will have to do for now.
Such a good looking clean built bike. One of the few companies that were doing shit legit and not over the top garbage.
Agreed. More going on definitely does not equal better. Flyrite and SPS understood that.
Junk
I always wanted one of these. They look fun to ride.
I’ve owned several rigids. This one is my favorite. They’re not bad w/a decent seat & heavy duty springs.
Especially if your hitting patios in the summer. They always draw a crowd.

Simple, beautiful and sounds fantastic!
Damn that open primary ❤️ love that!

I’m going to put a Paughco springer on eventually. Every hardtail should have a springer.
Nice custom work! Very stylish bobber
Love the simplicity of these bikes.
Beautiful bike.
The Sound is like music.
Would love to have a bike like this.
🙏
Been a while since I seen one of these. Nicely done, super clean ride. Thanks for sharing.
Damn ! thats a really nice looking bike dude
just love every detail in this chopper and that rumble is as American as apple pie
I’ll never understand peanut tanks. Nice bike. Absolutely killer
myself as well...ya spend more time looking for a gas station than anything else
Me Too.. Peanut Tanks are for 883 $portsters😎
That isn't a peanut tank. It is a small Sportster tank
