Oh yes those standing poses are recommended at least 3x a week! My teacher used to call them the Alpha and Omega of practice. So its great that we snuck them in here. lol. Meanwhile I just landed back from 10 days f blissful camping in Socotra. It was wildly remote and absolutely gorgeous. Next on the joy list is family time at home in Hawaii then back here for proper work again. Feeling all settled and rejuvenated. Hope you're doing really well too!! 🥰
Great to hear you're all settled in to your new home in Dubai. I had to google where Socotra was 😂, and I'm most impressed that you went camping there! One of my most favourite experiences is camping in the desert, sleeping under the stars - with no tent covering. Very rough, and strictly for 1 night only! 😅 I'm off to Toronto in a few days to visit children and grandchildren, and I'm not too sure I will enjoy the cold - but I will enjoy family time! Enjoy your time in Hawaii! 💖
Bonjour Tina! Writing from a very cluttered room: Books and 'stuff 'organised in piles that drape over everything as I begin to pack the house up into boxes. Its all consuming and exhausting yet exciting and energising. ⚡️💞 I hope that you're doing great! 🌷

Hello Beverly! Just landed after 32 hour journey back to Switzerland. Body and brain are feeling a tad ragged but I'm right back on the mat forcing myself through some sweat inducing moves to shake things up and get back to feeling great. Hope that you've had a wonderful summer! Still a few weeks left ... I'm heading up to the mountains for a few days with Talitha before she heads back to university after which it will be time to pack up the flat. 😅 Working on new class this afternoon! Aloha dearest Polly! I'm still in Hawaii on a deliciously torturous regime of gaining strength. Every day is filled with all kinds of yoga (from ashtanga to Iyengar) as well as swims, walks, work outs, hikes. I'm absolutely exhausted but deliriously happy to be regaining strength and vitality! Its lovely to hear from you and I'm sending you all positive frequencies and love! 🥰

It's the longest class iv done for ages and I completed comfortably, felt amazing afterwards, could feel extra muscles awakening the next day, still need to practice balancing poses. Hello beautiful you. It's been a whirlwind and things are only just starting to settle. A little. lol. I'm in Dubai!! Its hot hot hot. But honestly, despite the mall culture (ugh) its a very vibrant and exciting city! Many teething issues and stuff to deal with in the new/old apartment. In Dubai everything looks good but doesn't always function! My main issues has been air. Getting rid of black mould, fixing all the ac units. It's still not tip top but getting there. I'm missing our channel and sharing as well! Arrived very anxious to get right back into things but am having to go with the flow. One day at a time. Thanks for checking in. It feels good 🥰 Hope that you too are well and happy and healthy! You're in my heart and daily prayers. 🙏 ✨

Dubai must be SO different; I have never been, and wonder what took you there… Glad you are making progress with your ‘new/old’ home which will hopefully include a studio. I am well and enjoying having my husband home as his time in The Bahamas has come to an end. It’s unseasonably mild here - busy with leaf sweeping and lovely long autumnal walks with my whippet. As for Dubai, an opportunity arose and it requires me being here for a few years. Planning for my older years somewhere peaceful and healthy necessitates a little more work first! Especially now that Talitha's left home and my brain is my own again. lol. Hoping to be somewhere calmer by 2026. Fingers crossed!! Dearest Cat, just did this practice. It was warm, it was long, my abs were burning, but it was also exiting and delicious, thanks stretchlover. The book I read was, "Yoga of the inward path" abour: mantra yoga, Janna yoga, raja yoga, bhakti yoga and that we all part of a greater devine plan, that we have to work to that plan, yoga helps us in that direction. Yes!! I love camels and thta shot was in Socotra. An incredible island off the coast of Yemen. I went camping for 10 days. It was amazing - and we practiced every night by the camp fire! ♥️
