Amie, I seriously think Chanel should buy this off you and put it on their website. It is very informative and excellently made. I was gung-ho on a medium-large because I'm petite but after watching your previous uploads and this one, I'm now a firm believer in the jumbo. I love, love the way you explain everything. Keep doing more....

I wish I watched this video before buying my first Chanel classic flap. I don't regret my purchase at all, but this video would make my life so much easier. Instead of doing tons of research here and there, this video explains it all! I really appreciate you making an outline in the description box, eg. background, sizes, what fits... etc. Your videos are always very high quality. I am not just talking about the digital/technical stuff, but the content. You've always managed to express your content in a clear, informative and organized way. Bravo!

So I've always been into high end bags but I could never bite the bullet however, watching your videos really gave me a lot of insight on quality and wearability of Chanel bags as well as the bags being investments. Just tried on the medium and jumbo yesterday at Neiman Marcus and I can't believe how small the medium is! Now, I am having a conniption trying to decide between medium and jumbo. I know jumbo will hold more things, but I really don't plan on using this as an everyday bag - my neverfull and speedy 30 do the trick there - so I guess I am still leaning towards the medium to use as a weekend/special occasion bag, but now I'm just less excited by it! My husband also thought the medium "looked cuter" in this words - lol. I do have a Chanel WOC as well which kind of fits the bill for the weekend/special event piece. Argh! Decisions, decisions!

You can tie the jumbo chain inside the flap with a ribbon. Leaving one long chain and one short chain. Then the jumbo can be easily hand/arm carried or worn cross body. Try it and see!!
My classic jump flap I got from my grandma she was a very affluent bag collector since the 50’s and this is the one bag she gave me, I have taken it to chanel and all the essays are shocked at how well it holds up! I love it and it goes with everything I highly recommend! However it is a little scary if I go through a bad part of town it could be snatched up quick
This is such a great idea, I've just purchased my first Chanel bag and am so excited for it to arrive! I've always wanted a classic Chanel flap bag so that's what I'm going to save for next, I have my heart set on the medium size and am surprised how much you can fit inside! x

I've always wanted a Chanel bag. Just recently started watching all the UA-cam videos from everyone under the sun about It and weather to buy new or pre-loved. Yours is my fav. Of all the videos. Once I decide on which one, it was time to go see and try in person. Took a trip with my bff on Sat. to Chanel store is San Francisco so we can both experience it together. I ended getting the classic jumbo black caviar with the gold. I thought I wanted the silver, medium. But in person, the jumbo was the perfect one. If I waited to get later, I would never pull the trigger..especially with another price increase coming soon. I Can't wait for it to be delivered this week since the last one in the store I tried on was a display and they had to ship one.

Thank you so much for this video. I was going back and forth between lambskin and caviar but seeing as I'm not gentle on my accessories at all it looks like caviar won! I love how in-depth this was and didn't mind the length at all. It certainly didn't feel like 30 minutes.

And I totally agree with you with regards to building relationships. Though a SA's job is to service the client, they don't have to go through extra mile of texting, calling, sourcing and reserving our wants. I guess it is good for us to show our appreciation and reciprocate their service in a way. Also make this world a better place to be in 😊🤗😄😁😇💗💖💕

I just want to say I've been watching you for a while now and have been listening on your feed back on Chanel bags. Myself I adore LV and Chanel to death lol I have a few LV bags and SLG's but today marks my first movement towards Chanel.. I bought the Chanel 2.55 medium flap :) thank thank you so much for your honest opinion with Chanel. If it wasn't for you I probably would of still been second guessing myself but I'm beyond pleased with my purchase.

they actually never call you on the waiting list i was first on one for six months the bag came in my credit card was even their and they ended up giving it to someone who came in the store a few days after.... the us waiting lists dont really work 90% of the time

Thanks so much for this video! I found it really helpful. I am looking at buying my first Chanel bag (jumbo) in a few months time. I was told by my SA that the caviar leather was called that because the pebbled print is pressed onto the leather and that it looks like caviar eggs. Love how Chanel has sentiment and heritage to their bags

I have the Chanel classic flap in small, there isn't really much difference between it and the medium.. Kinda wish I had gone for the medium size since it's a tiny bit roomier.
I also have the mini rectangular classic flag in python leather, one of my best purchases! I absolutely adore this bag!

Agree on lamb skin durability, I have a m/l in creme lambskin from 1995 (thanks mum!!) and it looks brand new, the 'diamonds' have kept their shape and still very puffy. I recently went to buy the mini square after seeing yours but it's not available in caviar this season and the lamb skin gold is the light gold which I don't love either. Waiting until next season now :(

I’m so nervous/scared! Went to buy my medium/large double flap Chanel at a boutique today and when I arrived home I noticed stitching around the CC in the burgundy flap was coming off. Furthermore, and somehow I didn’t notice this in store, the bag looked like it was returned. The bag had almost no white tissue paper covering it or inside. When I purchased my other 2 Chanel handbags there was a lot of tissue and it was brand new. Suffice to say I was upset and went back to the store (wasting another hour+ more). The boutique doesn’t have another one (lambskin with gold hardware) so they’re going to have another boutique send it to me. They say it could take 3 days for it to arrive. I’m trying to stay calm but my mind is wondering if the same issue will happen. I told the salesman I expect a brand smacking new purse if I’m going to pay just over $6,100 USD for it. I’m so scared and nervous about this. I’ve never had an issue like this before.
