This video is all about tips, techniques, and gear that I use to capture the images I do of the wildlife that can be found in the wetlands. Even though many of the waterfowl in this region have since moved north to their breeding grounds, these tips and techniques can be used for all the other animals that can be found in the area during the spring and summer months.
I go over how I set up and use my gear, as well as the camera settings that I use to get the shots I do. I was really happy that while I was recording, some woods ducks cooperated and I was able to get some footage of them, and a pair of mute swans also came really close to me.
Stick around till the end because I got a surprise close encounter with some Canada geese than their goslings and got some of my favorite photos of the evening! Thanks for watching!

Some great tips, Todd! One piece of equipment I find very useful is a leveling base for the tripod head. Especially useful in situations like where you have your tripod in the water and you want to pan while keeping a straight horizon line.
