I’m 61 year old woman with just a few years to retirement. If I had a career do over it would be to study Wildlife Science. I consider myself a lifelong learner. As a new nature photographer I am really drawn to your channel for all the knowledge you share about the natural environment and subjects. This really makes you unique! Please keep making these videos, I’m learning both nature field craft and photography from you. Thank you!!
Just found your channel last night. Beautiful photography and of course, I love the birds. I wish I could express how wonderful it is to see these beautiful closeup views of these birds. I'll never get out to find them, but I love learning how to identify them by sight and your perfect photos really help!!
When you decided to find that barred owl. I was like” yeah let’s see if can find it!” lol made me feel like I was right there next to you looking for it. Well done! Thanks for another informative and relaxing video!
A great area is Station 43 in South Windsor, it is a Hartford Audubon Property and is usually very active with birds especially this time of year. Another spot I have heard of is Bush Hill Preserve in Manchester. I would suggest downloading the eBird app. It is a free app where you just need to create an account but it is run by Cornell lab of Ornithology. It has maps that show different birding spots and can be really useful.
Stunning day of being in Nature, not to mention a great day of birding!
Thank you for watching! Spring is always a great time to be out because you never know what your going to find!
